Penelope looked at the sea in front of her with a happy look.
Currently, the woman was on an island with a beautiful sea. This is her honeymoon with Edmund Gerwyn. Edmund deliberately bought an island that has much beautiful scenery in the Abelavish empire. Of course, Edmund had to go through various processes and most importantly get permission from the Emperor and Empress Abelavish. Emperor De Louis also helped Edmund to talk to Emperor Abelavish as the two were close friends. Even Helios Rune Abelavish also helped because he wanted to give Penelope Askary a wedding gift.
"How is it, Duchess Gerwyn? Do you like it?" asked Edmund. The man hugged his wife from behind and kissed Penelope’s cheeks and neck until she laughed.
"I like it very much. I haven’t seen the sea in a long time. The atmosphere here also makes me feel very comfortable." Penelope turned and wrapped her arms around Edmund’s neck. "Thank you for this beautiful present, Duke Edmund."
Edmund chuckled and kissed Penelope on the lips. The two of them kissed long enough that Edmund was forced to break the kiss because Penelope was having trouble breathing. His wife’s face flushed and her golden eyes glared at Edmund. Penelope then hit Edmund’s chest and pinched both of his cheeks which had not stopped laughing at her.
"You’re such a pain, Edmund Gerwyn," Penelope grumbled. "Do you want to make me die of suffocation because of your wild kisses?"
"In fact, I give you my breath so that you will always live by my side and spend the rest of your life with me," chuckled Edmund. The man caressed Penelope’s red lips and kissed her forehead. "Actually, I really want to take off your dress right here and touch your whole body to give you as much satisfaction as you want."
Hearing that, Penelope widened her eyes and immediately covered Edmund’s mouth with her hands. Her face heated up rapidly and blushed violently. Then, Penelope looked around and noticed Edgar and Sarah looking away at whatever was around them. But, from the movements of the two people and also from the slightly red faces of the two, Penelope realized that Edgar and Sarah had heard Edmund’s vulgar words just now.
"Ed! Can’t that mouth of yours stop spouting such embarrassing words?!" Penelope exclaimed. The woman hit Edmund’s chest repeatedly and immediately covered her face with both hands. Edmund was still laughing because of Penelope’s innocence. The woman was truly adorable in Edmund’s eyes.
"Why? I said it in front of you, not in front of other women."
"Even so!" Penelope lowered her hands and looked at Edmund with an irritated look. "I feel embarrassed, Ed! Edgar and Sarah could hear your words just now. Besides... Even though the doctor said we can have sex, I don’t want to do it today."
Edmund raised an eyebrow. "Do you want to make me suffer?"
"It’s not like that," Penelope chuckled. Her irritation disappeared when she heard Edmund’s words spoken in a sad tone. In Penelope’s eyes, Edmund looked like a big puppy, who had just been scolded by its master. "I want to walk around this island until I get bored. And, I’m not sure I won’t feel tired. If I’m tired, I won’t be able to ’play’ with you or satisfy you. So, maybe today we won’t be able to do it."
"All right," said Edmund in a gentle tone. He hugged Penelope again then lifted his wife’s tiny body. Penelope laughed and held Edmund’s shoulders tightly as he spun around. After Edmund lowered Penelope carefully onto the sand, Penelope ran out to the sea and played with the seawater. She also splashed the sea water on Edmund’s handsome face, making Edmund wet and the man started splashing Penelope back with the same seawater. "So, you want to play with me, Duchess Gerwyn."
Edgar and Sarah smiled warmly when they saw Edmund and Penelope’s happiness. Only one person seemed unhappy with the Duke and Duchess Gerwyn’s happiness.
Philleo Aaron.
The man had gotten permission from Edmund Gerwyn to live in Gerwyn’s mansion and become Penelope Askary’s personal knight. Actually, Edmund didn’t want to give permission. However, since Penelope requested that Philleo be allowed to remain her knight, Edmund couldn’t do much. He was forced to permit it because Edmund could never turn down Penelope’s requests. Even so, Edmund still placed Jellal to protect Penelope from the shadows while keeping an eye on Philleo Aaron. This was because of a report from Chris that Edmund received when the wedding ceremony was over.
’Your Grace, forgive me in advance if the information I am saying cannot be verified. But... I suspect Sir Philleo Aaron, Your Grace. When the Duchess was ill that night, I caught Sir Philleo sneaking into the Duchess’s room. I saw him approach the Duchess’s sleeping face and immediately threaten him with a sword. Edmund blinked and realized that Penelope was already near the table and chairs prepared by Edgar and Sarah. The woman laughed along with the two people and told Philleo to come closer. Then, Penelope ate the strange fruit she reported just now and her expression turned strange. Apparently, the fruit was very sour, making Sarah worry and give water to Penelope. Then, Sarah scolds the woman for carelessly eating something without checking it first. Penelope just laughed.
In his place, Edmund chuckled and shook his head in amusement.
"What should I do if my Duchess is so reckless like that?"

For a whole week, Penelope and Edmund spent their honeymoon on this beautiful island.
Most nights, Edmund and Penelope would have sex. Of course, Edmund did this carefully so as not to put Penelope and their children in danger. Sometimes, Edmund would not put ’his thing’ into Penelope’s body and would only play with Penelope’s most sensitive body parts using his fingers or his mouth. Likewise with Penelope. The important thing is, Edmund and Penelope can satisfy each other. And, if he had to be honest since she was pregnant, Penelope had been sexier than ever in Edmund’s eyes. Penelope also felt that her libido sometimes increased when she was around Edmund since she was pregnant.
"I’m so tired," Penelope said. Edmund, who was holding Penelope in his arms, lowered her carefully onto the bed. The Duke smiled and kissed Penelope on the forehead. "Ed, where are you going?" Penelope asked when she saw her husband intending to leave their room. Starting today, Penelope will live in Gerwyn’s mansion and will carry out her duties as Duchess. Sarah and Philleo would also be living with the woman at Gerwyn’s mansion.
"I have to check my work and finish it. I’m sure I have a lot of documents on my desk that I need to check," replied Edmund with a gentle smile. "Just take a rest, Honey. I will be right back. We will have dinner together. I promise."
Penelope pouted and crossed her arms. "I don’t want to!"
Edmund blinked. "Yes?"
"I don’t want to be alone in this room and I don’t want to have dinner if you don’t accompany me here!" Penelope grumbled. Seeing that, Edmund was even more confused. He looked at Sarah, who looked down and smiled. The woman found Penelope’s attitude very adorable. Her lady must be in pregnant woman mode. Sarah had guessed from the start that her Lady’s pregnancy had caused her Lady to be very spoiled toward Edmund. "Sarah, if Ed comes out of this room, lock the door, and don’t let that guy in even if he begs."
"Huh?" Edmund went straight to the bed and knelt before Penelope. However, the woman looked away. "My Duchess, why are you punishing me like this? I’m just going out for a bit and will be right back."
"Don’t talk to me, I don’t know who you are." Penelope snorted and glanced at Edmund. The man’s handsome face looked funny in Penelope’s eyes. Sarah even had to hold back her laughter.
"All right, all right," said Edmund, giving up. The man raised his hands. "I will stay here and rest with you. Are you satisfied, Duchess?"
Penelope immediately smiled broadly. The woman looked at Edmund with sparkling eyes. Then, Penelope immediately threw herself into Edmund’s arms. Edmund, who was shocked and unprepared, lost his body balance. The man hugged Penelope tightly as they both fell to the floor with Edmund on the ground. The Duke winced as his back hit the floor but the man didn’t show it to Penelope so his wife wouldn’t worry.
Instead of crying or groaning in pain, Penelope just laughed. She rubbed her belly and said, "Ed, your kids love this kind of thing!"
"What do you mean?" asked Edmund, not understanding. "Apart from that, are you alright? Our kids are fine too, right?"
Penelope nodded vigorously. "I mean, tense stuff like just now. It looks like your children inherit all of your traits that are never afraid of anything and instead like challenges."
Edmund blinked and the next second he was chuckling. "I would really appreciate it if they liked harmless things instead." The man helped Penelope to stand up and turned around when there was a knock on their bedroom door.
"Let me open it, Your Grace," said Sarah. The woman opened the door and took something from a male servant. Then, Sarah approached Penelope and gave a large box to her Lady. "My Lady, you have a delivery."
"Hmm?" Penelope looked for the sender’s name but could not find it. "There is no sender’s name. Is this a wedding gift for me?" Penelope muttered. The woman untied the ribbon tied beautifully in the box and opened the lid of the box. And, when Penelope saw what was inside the box, her golden eyes widened. Penelope screamed and threw the box, making Edmund immediately catch his wife’s body which almost fell. Penelope’s body was shaking violently and she started to cry. Sarah also looked surprised and looked away because she couldn’t stand the sight in front of her.
"Bastard," Edmund growled. "Edgar! Jellal! Phileo!"
When Edgar and Philleo barged into the Duke and Duchess’ room, Jellal appeared as suddenly as Chris did all the time. The three of them immediately froze when they saw a dead rat still covered in blood on the floor.
"Find the servant who delivered this box earlier and ask him who sent this damn package to my wife! If he doesn’t know, I want you to find the perpetrators even if you have to overturn the De Louis empire! Bring that person to me so I can give hell to him for daring to make my wife scared and cry!"

Isaac Abraham laughed when he found out that his package for Penelope Askary had been received by the woman.
According to information from the spy he put in Gerwyn’s mansion without Edmund Gerwyn’s knowledge, Penelope screamed in fear and cried. Then, Edmund was furious and ordered his knights to look for someone, who dared to send the dead mouse to his beloved wife.
"Fortunately I knew that I was being watched by Duke Edmund, so I could come up with another plan using the help of the guild assassins," chuckled Isaac. "Fortunately, Duke Edmund’s men, who were watching over me, didn’t manage to pick up on my communications with those guild assassins. This is just the beginning, Penelope Askary. I’ve hated you since we were kids and I will continue to make you suffer even if you already become the wife of a Duke. I miss the screams full of fear and screams full of pain from your mouth like the old days."
