"Hello, Isabella Lysander."

That greeting made Isabella stop walking and turn her head around. She frowned when she saw a beautiful woman in a pink dress standing in front of her and smiling at her. Then, the woman caressed her hair lovingly and hugged Isabella.

"Err... who are you? Do I know you?"

The woman laughed and let go of her hug. Then, she cupped Isabella’s face and kissed her forehead.

"I am Goddess Elleia."

Isabella blinked. Her mouth was wide open. Her heart was beating fast. The woman shook her head and started to pale. She covered her mouth with both of her hands and started crying. Her body trembled violently because of the sudden fear that overwhelmed her.

"Does that mean... I’m dead...?" Isabella asked. "I... won’t be able to return to my world? I killed my daughter, right?"

Goddess Elleia shook her head and held Isabella’s hands tightly. She took Isabella to sit on one of the benches that suddenly appeared near them. Then, the Goddess tried to calm Isabella who kept crying.

"No, Honey. You’re still alive. You’re on your way back to your body. You can feel this warmth, right? The warmth of the pink light that shines around you."

Isabella nodded. She saw the pink light that had been surrounding her for a long time.

"That is Penelope Askary’s light," said Goddess Elleia. "That woman is trying her best to save you. Isabel, why did you do such a stupid thing, hm?"

"Ah..." Isabella looked down. She smiled sadly. The woman looked at her trembling palms. "I... don’t have anyone else in this world, Goddess. Marquess Lysander turns out to not be my real Father. Isabella bit her lip. "Do Ethan and the others know about this?"

"Yes," nodded Goddess Elleia. "Ethan Askary, Penelope Askary, Edmund Gerwyn, and Helios Rune Abelavish. They know about this. This is also the reason why Edmund Gerwyn treats you coldly. This is also the reason that caused Edmund Gerwyn and Penelope Askary to fight because the man didn’t want Penelope to save you with her healing power."

Isabella froze. "Did... I committed a crime?"

The woman still had her eyes closed. Her strength continued to flow out of her body, making her feel tired and almost faint. Cold sweat dripped down her beautiful face. Her body began to tremble and her body temperature began to drop drastically. The mana in her body began to drain, making Helios, who realized this, immediately approach the Duchess.

"Duchess, you should stop and rest for a while," Helios said in a firm tone. Ethan, who was kneeling by the bed and holding Isabella’s hand tightly, looked up to look at his little sister with a worried look. "All of your mana has been used up and you are very pale, Duchess!"

"Shut up!" Penelope exclaimed. She was still very concentrated on healing Isabella Lysander. "I won’t stop until Isabel opens her eyes!"

Suddenly, the bedroom door opened with a loud push. Helios turned his head and swallowed hard as Edmund Gerwyn entered with fast, wide steps. The Duke looked very displeased. His hands clenched tightly at his sides and he let out a low growl.

"Duke, please calm yourself," Helios said in a firm tone. "Duke!"

However, Edmund Gerwyn ignored Helios’ orders. The man grabbed Penelope’s arm and then pulled her. Penelope’s tiny body was immediately pulled towards Edmund, making Penelope open her eyes and push her husband’s body.

"What are you doing, you jerk?!" Penelope shouted. Her eyes were sharp. She pointed at Edmund’s face. "Can’t you see I’m trying to save my best friend?!"

"Then, will you sacrifice yourself to save the woman who made you suffer in your first life?!" shouted Edmund. "Don’t you think about how I feel?! What would happen to the twins if something bad happened to you, huh?! They are still very young and need you, Penelope Askary!"

"Shut up!" Penelope covered her ears and shook her head firmly. The woman tried to control her gasping breath. "I don’t want to talk to you, Edmund Gerwyn! If you just want to stop me from saving Isabel, you better get out of here! I won’t bother you so don’t bother me!"

When Penelope wanted to use her power again, Edmund growled and immediately grabbed the woman’s body. Penelope struggled. The Duchess hits Edmund but he doesn’t care. The blows from his wife’s tiny hands clearly had no effect on him.

"Enough! I’m your husband! I have the right to forbid you and you must obey all of my words! We’re going home now!"

"You are very selfish, Edmund Gerwyn! Let me go! I’m not going home until I save Isabel! You really are cold-blooded, Edmund Gerwyn!" Penelope shouted while crying. Seeing that, Ethan immediately moved. The man stood up and pushed Edmund, then grabbed his little sister.

"Don’t you dare use violence against my little sister, Duke Edmund!"

"Don’t you realize that the root of all this problem is that woman, Ethan?!" Edmund pointed at Isabella. "She made us like this! Even in her unconscious state, Isabella Lysander can make all of us fight!"

"SHUT UP!" Helios shouted. The Crown Prince of the Abelavish empire came forward and stood between Edmund, Penelope, and Ethan. He glared at everyone. "I am the Crown Prince of this palace. This is my palace! Don’t you dare make a scene in this peaceful and sacred place!"

"Penny...?"

The weak voice made Penelope and Ethan flinch. They turned their heads around and widened their eyes when they saw that Isabella had opened her eyes. The woman tried to get up from her lying position, then cried. Seeing that, Penelope and Ethan immediately ran towards Isabella and Penelope immediately hugged Isabella.

"Isabel! "Thank goodness you’re awake," said Penelope in a relieved tone. She cupped Isabella’s face and wiped her tears. Penelope smiled happily. She also started crying. "Hey, why are you crying? Hm? Does your body hurt? Why did you do such a stupid thing? You are pregnant with my niece or nephew, Isabel."

"I’m sorry," Isabella said in a low tone. She sobbed violently. "I just... feel really tired. I’m scared. I’m stressed, Penny. I do not know what to do. I—"
