Reincarnation of The Villainess: She Has The Duke's Baby!-Chapter 145: #-Who Is He?
Edmund Gerwyn ran while pointing his sword at the red-bodied, horned monster in front of him.
The Duke jumped onto the huge body of the terrifying monster and directly slashed its neck. In one slash, the monster’s neck broke and its head rolled across the road. Blood spurted everywhere and even stained Edmund’s handsome face but the man didn’t care. He landed on the asphalt perfectly and cleaned his blood-stained sword.
"Duke, are you okay?" asked one of the knights that Edmund had brought from his mansion. Edmund nodded and glanced sharply around him.
"Have you found the Duchess?" Edmund asked back in a cold tone.
"Not yet, Duke," the Knight shook his head. "Some of us have been looking for the Duchess’s whereabouts but until now the Duchess has not been found."
"Dammit!" Edmund cursed loudly. He tried to control his anger. He didn’t want that darkness to control him and make him go on a rampage and even destroy things around him. The Duke didn’t want Penelope to suffer because she tried to calm him down. "Check every corner and don’t miss anything! If my Duchess isn’t found, I’ll make all your heads roll in the streets!"
"Yes, Duke!" The knight shouted and immediately carried out the task given by Edmund.
When Edmund was about to kill the other monsters, something hit his foot. The man frowned and looked down. He saw two boys rubbing their foreheads and looking up at him. The two boys gasped and froze.
"Forgive us, Duke!" exclaimed the Knight who was with them. "I was tasked by the Duchess to take them to a safe place. But, it seems like they couldn’t pay attention to the situation around them because they were so scared."
"Duchess?! Have you seen the Duchess?!" Edmund grabbed the knight’s arm. "Where is the Duchess now?"
"I—"
"Uncle."
Edmund looked down when he felt the hem of his clothes being pulled. He also heard the children calling him uncle.
"Is Uncle a friend of that kind Lady?" asked one of the two children. "The Lady has helped us. She is as kind as an angel."
Edmund smiled faintly and knelt in front of the two children. He ruffled both of their hair and nodded. "That Lady is indeed kind like an angel. Do you know where the Lady is?"
The two children pointed into the distance. Then, they blinked and tilted their heads.
"Hm? Richard, isn’t this strange? The Lady was over there earlier. And, there are no stones over there either."
"You’re right, Seymour," nodded Richard. He looked at Edmund. "Uncle, that Lady was there just now. She’s helped my friend, Seymour. Seymour’s wounds suddenly disappeared when the Lady touched him."
The information made Edmund’s heart beat twice as fast as usual. His face turned pale as if the blood had been drained from his body. He stood up and his blue eyes widened at the large rocks that had buried something beneath them. If a human is standing under that building and the building collapses, it is certain that the human will die.
Edmund shook his head in panic and started running as if he had lost his mind.
"NO, PENNY!" shouted Edmund. He even threw away his sword and immediately knelt before the ruins. Edmund took off his gloves and immediately moved the large rocks to another place. "Penny, answer me! Hang in there, Penny, you’ll be fine! I will definitely save you! Penelope Askary, answer me if you hear me!"
The Knight, who had accompanied Richard and Seymour according to Penelope’s orders, immediately carried them both and shouted for his other friends. After hearing the information conveyed by the Knight, they immediately ran toward Edmund to help the Duke dig up the ruins.
"Penny! Answer me!" shouted Edmund again. No! He wouldn’t lose Penelope. He couldn’t lose his wife. "Penny!"
But, no matter how loud Edmund shouted, Penelope never answered his calls.

"You, jerk! Who are you and where do you come from?!" shouted Philleo. "Why did you suddenly appear here and want to bother me and Penelope?!"
The black-robed man snorted and continued to attack Philleo. Philleo was starting to get overwhelmed. He started to panic and feel annoyed. There was no way a talented and outstanding knight like himself, a knight recognized by the Emperor himself, could lose to a mysterious man, who seemed to be younger than him. Philleo gritted his teeth and found no opening to attack at all. Since then, Philleo has always been on the defensive side.
"Bothering you and Penelope Askary?" The mysterious man laughed mockingly. "She’s not someone you can call her name carelessly like that, Philleo Aaron!"
The man jerked Philleo’s sword, causing it to fly. After that, he kicked Philleo until the man was thrown against the wall and coughed up blood. Philleo couldn’t get up. He lost a lot of his strength. Then, Philleo reflexively held his breath when the mysterious man’s sword aimed at his neck. Philleo swallowed hard and stared intently at the person in front of him.
"Watch your attitude, Philleo Aaron. You’re just a criminal. You don’t deserve to be near the Duchess, let alone say the Duchess’s name as you please."
"Older brother!"
The exclamation made the black-robed man turn his head. He lowered his hood and raised an eyebrow at his little sister.
"We have to get out of here," His little sister said. "Hurry! Father will go berserk any minute!"
The man clicked his tongue and ruffled his own hair. He walked with lazy steps toward his little sister and Penelope Askary.
"Father and his anger that he can never control," the man grumbled. When he stood in front of Penelope, the man smiled gently and immediately hugged Penelope in a spoiled hug. "Hi, Mother. Ocean must have told Mother about her identity, right? Even if we didn’t tell Mother, Mother would definitely recognize us because of our unique eye color. Mother is very beautiful. If you weren’t my Mother, I would have—"
"Your mouth is always out of control!" Ocean exclaimed while kicking him. Seeing that, Penelope blinked and laughed. She hugged Raven Gerwyn, her eldest son, in a tight hug, then pulled Ocean so she could hug her too. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
"I didn’t think I could meet my children from the future," whispered Penelope.
"I’m also very happy to be able to meet my very beautiful Mother," said Raven. "Mother, how about we go on a date—"
"Older brother!" Ocean shouted. The woman pinched Raven’s cheek. "Get us out of here right now. Do you want to stay in this place with that bastard and let Father destroy the empire because he thought Mother was dead?"
"God! You’re as talkative as Mother!" Raven grumbled. When he realized his words made Penelope smile at him, Raven cleared his throat. "I mean, the Mother who is in the future. Then, let’s get out of here."
Raven snapped his fingers and the three of them disappeared from the building.

Edmund never gave up.
He continued to move the stones with his hands. Even when his hands were injured and bleeding, Edmund didn’t care. For him, the most important thing was Penelope Askary’s safety. He would end his life this very second if his wife was found dead.
"Ed!"
The call was like an oasis for Edmund. He froze and turned around quickly. His eyes widened when he saw Penelope Askary standing, smiling, and waving at him. Edmund immediately stood up, ran toward Penelope, and hugged his wife tightly.
"I’m so worried about you!" Edmund let go of his arms and cupped Penelope’s face. He kissed Penelope’s forehead, also placing small kisses on the woman’s beautiful face. "Are you hurt? You’re fine, aren’t you?"
"Mm. I’m fine. I told you that I am a strong woman. You don’t need to worry about me." Penelope frowned and sniffed something. "Hm? Isn’t this the smell of blood?" Penelope immediately grabbed Edmund’s hand and wide-eyed at her husband’s palm. "Ed?! What happened to your palm?!"
"Ah, this..." Edmund cleared his throat and intended to withdraw his hands. However, Penelope didn’t let that happen. "It doesn’t hurt, Penny."
"You—"
"Didn’t he never change? He always acted strong in front of all of us." Ocean Gerwyn took a deep breath and crossed her arms. "Father, you don’t need to act like that. I know you’re in a lot of pain."
"Father?" Edmund blinked. He looked at a man and woman in front of him. The man showed a flat expression and looked away with his arms crossed, while the woman smiled broadly and waved her hands enthusiastically. Edmund cleared his throat and looked at Penelope while pointing at the two people. "Who are they? Why do they call me Father?"
"Can’t you tell who they are from their eyes, Ed?" Penelope asked with a chuckle.
"Eyes?" Edmund looked at the two people again and widened his eyes. "Impossible. Are you... the twins?!"
"Hi, Father!" Ocean exclaimed in a cheerful tone. "We are from the future. Look, I’m very beautiful, aren’t I?"
Edmund swallowed hard and looked at Raven and Ocean alternately. Raven looks like him. Both in terms of face and character. Meanwhile, Ocean has a beautiful face that is very similar to Penelope. Seeing Ocean’s beauty, Edmund immediately gasped. He walked quickly toward Ocean and held both of her shoulders firmly.
"Who’s he?" asked Edmund in a firm tone. "Tell me right now!"
"Huh?" Ocean blinked. "What do you mean, Father?"
"Tell me who is the man who is approaching you right now in the future," said Edmund. "Where did that man come from and what is his nature? With a beautiful face like yours, I’m sure many shameless men will try to approach you!"
"Of course, there is."
"What?!" Edmund looked at Raven. His eldest son yawned and took a deep breath. "Who is that man, Raven? Quick, tell this Father of yours!"
Raven grinned and tilted his head.
"Why should I tell you, Father? After all, you live in the present and not the future. So, Father has no right to interfere."
Edmund looked at Raven in disbelief.
His eldest son was this kind of insolent man in the future?!
