Jonathan’s eyes burst open in shock when he heard Antonio’s words. His head quickly did the calculation for him, and all together his progression rate would skyfly to 20X. Jonathan couldn’t think of the effect of having a 20X progression rate.

That was godly!

Jonathan squeezed his fist hard, he would do anything to get that 1X magical boosting item.

Antonio took a leap and appeared at the upper floor of the hall, joining the rest instructors. He voiced out when he arrived at the upper floor.

"You have five minutes to come up with a good strategy to win against my battalions of monsters. That might not be much of a time but in the battlefield, things happen instantaneously.

You have to be a sharp thinker if you want to survive the battlefield!

Five minutes and you will be facing what I will call a preview of what you are about to experience two days from now."

His words continue to spread fear in the surrounding area but two people couldn’t wait to get started already.

Just as the five minute countdown expired in Antonio’s wristwatch.

A brown color energy line was seen all over the room. It covered the entire room at once and it started emitting brown smoke in the surrounding area.

The motion caused the eyes of many to burst open in fear as they looked around.

Antonio’s voice was heard next.

"E ranked: Army giant spiders"

The ground vibrated a little, and several blue colored giant spiders started forming in the surrounding area.

The scene scared the shit out of everyone in the down floor. As the giant spiders were forming, they instantly launched to attack the new recruits which were in the middle of the hall.

Nobody dared to move from their position, they were all glued to the ground by the sizes of the giant spiders.

Luke couldn’t move a single muscle from his spot and Julian was seen throwing up on the floor.

Two among the spiders were super fast that they quickly covered the distance, reaching to engage everyone immediately. They were about to move their large claws when both spiders suddenly burst to pieces.

Everyone was surprised by the deadly attack the spiders received. They looked closely at the scene and Hillary was seen staring at her katana. The reflection from the katana was blinding to everyone around. Just like she suspected, she could take on these spiders with just one move.

"Oh My God, she is so strong!"

"What a woman!"

"How did she do that?"

Hillary was enjoying the compliment from everyone, when a loud vibrating sound was heard from a different direction.

The loud sound somehow caused the ground to vibrate a little. Everyone turned to face the direction quickly, including Hillary.

She wondered who could’ve done that.

They gazed in the direction and were shocked to see three giant spiders had just been crushed to the ground. Standing in the midst of the scattered spiders was Jonathan.

Scream!

The crowds went into an uproar.

"How did he do that?"

"He is just a martial artist. I didn’t know a martial artist could be this strong, and he is not even on the fourth stage like Hillary. He is merely at the third stage of his magical path and he was able to bring down three spiders at once."

Hillary was flabbergasted on her spot, but her expression became ugly. Her grips on her katana handle became tight as she glared coldly at Jonathan.

Hillary instantly took a different stance and the air in the surrounding suddenly changed.

"D ranked Skill"

"Cleave Slash!"

The color of Hillary katana changed to orange and she instantly swung it in the direction of the giant spiders that were coming closer to her.

Hillary brought down five giant spiders to the ground. The rupture of the five spiders was worse than the first two spiders she killed.

Everyone was amazed by Hillary’s attack. They couldn’t believe that she had unlocked a D ranked skill already. She was more like a god in their eyes now.

Luke’s forehead folded completely.

’How could these two bunch of cowards be taking all the glory here?

I am the person with the strongest ability here, I should be what these people are looking up to, not these two cowards!"

Luke summoned all his courage and moved forward to one of the giant spiders that was coming his way.

His movements were followed by everyone because they had all been anticipating what he would be capable of doing.

Luke’s lips formed a half smile seeing everyone was looking at him.

He muttered to himself.

"Don’t worry, I will show you all what a Summoner can do."

Luke was about to unleash his skill when Jonathan suddenly appeared close to the giant spider that he was planning on attacking.

"Glowing Burst Fist: Level 8"

Jonathan smashed the spider to pieces. Luke’s eyes burst open in shock. Before he could comprehend the motion, Jonathan instantly moved on to bring down ten more giant spiders to the ground with the same skill.

SHOCKED!

Everyone’s eyes were wide open.

"This is crazy!"

Luke couldn’t believe what he was seeing. He doubts if his E ranked skill would be able to bring down three of these giant spiders let alone more than ten of them, and in such a quick manner.

Luke stammered in his mind.

’How... could a martial artist be this powerful."

Hillary didn’t know how to react to Jonathan attacks. She instantly changed her stance and smashed forward in the midst of all the giant spiders.

If she continues to wait for people’s praises, Jonathan might end up having the most kills than her.

That would make him the top performance of the day, and that might outshine the legacy she has been trying to create for herself in these past few days.

No way she would let the bastard outshine her today.

Hillary took a different stance when she appeared in the middle of the numerous giant spiders.

"D Ranked: Savage Slash!"

All the giant spiders attacked Hillary immediately, but Hillary swung her katana several times and all the spider’s body parts were sent flying all over the hall.

Her movement caused everyone to look in her direction. She had successfully brought down the remaining spiders which were twelve in numbers.

Seeing everyone was looking at her, Hillary swung her katana twice, removing the green blood stain of the giant spiders.

More spiders started appearing immediately and they were appearing in a faster manner than before.

The motion made everyone to be afraid again.

"More is coming and they are appearing faster than before."

Hillary could feel the presence of the spiders that were appearing behind her. She slowly turned to face the spiders, but as she turned, somebody moved past her.

Hillary froze on her spot when she sensed the intensity of the person that just moved past her. It was for a brief moment but the intensity was overwhelming.

"Who...."

Her eyes widened in shock when she saw the person was Jonathan.

Jonathan’s body was coated with orange colored energy as he smashed forward to the monster.

’No way I am letting you win, Hillary.’

"Body Slam"

"Maximum level!"

"Plus one!"

Jonathan moved past all the giant spiders in a flash. As he moved past them, they all shattered to the ground. All thirty of them!

He slowly straightened up on his spot and halfway turned to face Hillary.
