Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 753: Choose A Name
Kael knew that his powers were amazing, almost reality-bending, but they were also based on a local scale.
It didn’t matter how well Kael could manipulate the laws; he would lose if someone like Jordan simply chose to brute-force his way through it all.
Jordan was an extreme example. Kael.was sure that he would lose to an average Mid Level Immortal.
Him fighting all those Low Level Immortal cats back then was only impressive to the eyes of mortals.
After all, even though he was fighting them, he never managed to kill any of them. That was done by Jordan and the mysterious woman who had followed him.
So, Kael was made to become way more cautious around these five kings.
Phestus of Azerath Clan, Jordan of De’Ville Clan, and Gabriel of Uriel Clan. Two had not yet been introduced.
Kael looked at the two men sitting respectively next to Jordan and Phestus.
The one sitting next to Phestus was on Kael’s right and the other was sitting between Jordan and Gabriel.
The one sitting close to Kael was the largest in the room. Although everyone here at the bloody table had to be around seven feet tall on average, this person was slightly taller.
His eyes flashed with orange electricity that flowed through his long brown hair and rough skin.
There was no hiding for this one, he was an Electric Lion. Kael felt the hairs on his body stand on end when those orange eyes finally turned to him.
"Azeus," He said, his beard quivering as he brought his hands down on a goat skull which had a part of its brain section cut off to act as a cup for the blood he was drinking.
Azeus had been busy eating all this while listening to the conversations. It wasn’t like he wasn’t interested in Kael, he just didn’t want to talk while eating like the rest.
After Azeus introduced himself, he went back to drinking blood and eating the raw flesh in front of him. He didn’t even talk about his clan, only his name was said.
Kael nodded.
After that, only one person was left.
Kael stared at the person sitting beside Jordan. This person was the only King at the table who had not touched anything in front of him. He was not eating anything.
He was also the most elderly looking, donning dark brown skin, deep silver eyes, and long white dreadlocks that had their ends reaching his chest.
His white dreadlocks complemented the white beards that were cleanly shaved.
This man looked absolutely ancient. Not too elderly that he looked like he was weak and frail.
As a matter of fact, the man was quite robust, as Kael could see through the faded green robe that the man had a strong and powerful muscular frame.
But the ancient aura being emitted from his body was heavy and very apparent. Anyone could tell that they were standing in the presence of a being that was extremely old.
Even the other kings looked at him with respect even though they all had the same power level.
This was the oldest lion in the whole lion civilization, a lion that had been alive since the era of Silax.
That would be twenty to thirty million years ago, give or take.
Kael, who had not even been a hundred years old, could not imagine what it would be like to just sit around in the Original Heaven, watching as time flew by.
Every day, every year, every century, every millennium, every million years that passed, one after the other, one by one.
The loneliness.
The fact that he was the oldest meant that all those who had been alive with him were probably all dead. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
There was a stark difference between this man and the other Kings. Others like Gabriel, Jordan, Phestus, and Azeus, had all been alive for extremely long times, but at least, they were not the oldest.
They could still see themselves as scions of the same era. Even Jordan, who was also extremely old, could still relate to the others.
But this white haired brown skinned man was just not that. Lions were social creatures and enduring such a long period of loneliness could lead to suicide.
Alas, for this king that has weathered through all the years again and again, he must have a kind of determination that was on the same level as Ibadon’s desire for vengeance or Kael’s desire for conquest.
It was the kind of determination that dictated whether he would rest in peace or die with regrets.
What could it be?
"Elder," Kael took a deep breath and bowed his head slightly. Not enough to show servitude but enough to show his innermost respect.
The amount of knowledge and experience accumulated by this ancient king must be immense.
"All-King," The man said, his sharp silver eyes seemingly coming to life as he looked at Kael.
"You may call me Alexander," The man said, his white dreadlocks shivering as he adjusted his shoulders, "King of the Judah Clan."
Kael smiled. He knew for a fact that this Alexander of Judah was probably the missing Anti-Lion of the factions.
"Thank you all for your hospitality," Kael glanced at all of them with a thankful expression, "I am grateful.
As you all know already then, I am Kael, King of the Ol’mytee Clan and All-King of the Lion Civilization."
Jordan nodded, "Yeah, we know.
All-King, that’s such a bold name. How did you come up with it?" He asked as he dragged the meat of an unknown animal and cut it with his teeth.
"King Exalon, he gave me the name. Unfortunately, he is no more," Kael admitted, arranging all the truths and lies he had calculated as being okay to tell.
"That’s fine, it is inevitable as Kings for all of us to eventually meet an end one way or the other.
We either die while Conquering or we live to dominate," Phestus said.
"I agree," Kael said.
"You know, it wasn’t always called Lion Civilization the way you just called it," Gabriel commented.
"What was it called then?" Kael asked.
"Although it was never agreed upon, we collectively used to call the general faction that represented all lions as the Lion Hegemony."
"Super Kingdom was also very nice," Jordan said while narrowing his gaze.
Phestus shook his head, "No it wasn’t. Imagine scouring the universe, plundering all, and striking fear into our enemies.
Then once they ask us who we are, we say the Super Kingdom of Lions? Please!"
Jordan shook his head, "I’m just saying, we are a civilization of kings, we are not a normal kingdom, we are also not a conventional empire in the technical sense.
Super Kingdom of Lions is the best name!"
Jordan ended with a tone that was slightly raised. And Kael could see a sickening smirk start to creep on Jordan’s lips as well as a deeper red glow coming from his eyes.
"I agree with Jordan," Azeus said as he brought his head up from his food, "They should know that we are not just any normal civilization, we are a kingdom of kings."
Azeus had kept his head down until this moment, "All-King, think about it.
Your title as All-King rests on the fact that you are a proclaimed King of Kings.
An Emperor is to an Empire as a King is to a Kingdom.
Just that an empire exists when there is no longer any competition and a kingdom exists in harmony or competition with other kingdoms.
That is my own technical term.
If we call it the Lion Empire, we would be signifying that the lions are all living under an assumed Emperor.
It is assumed that the lions are all united under a single arm of government.
That is not true, as you should know.
We don’t have an Imperial court, ministries, or a centralised military.
We are kings, blind together by our common desire to bring the universe to its knees.
But you also cannot call us the Kingdom of Lions as that would imply that we are all under one king and one king only.
That is also not true.
A Super Kingdom is the perfect name for us," Azeus ended as he took a sip of rich blood from his skull cup.
He didn’t talk much but the first time he talked was him extensively explaining why the Lion Civilization should be called a Super Kingdom.
Jordan smiled, showing his white fangs, "You see, that’s why Azeus and I always get along, his head is in the right place."
Gabriel shrugged, "I don’t know about that, the name itself doesn’t really matter. What matters is the action..."
"Noooo," Jordan shook his head vehemently as he tapped the table repeatedly, "The name is very important, very important.
Think of it, whenever our vassals act in our name, they will proudly declare that they are acting under a king from the super Kingdom of Lions!"
Phestus snorted, "That name is not something anyone will be proud of..."
"All-King, what do you think? Which name is better?" Azeus asked, causing the eyes of all the Kings to settle on Kael.
