Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 754: Why Did You Come?
Kael’s eyes dropped low, intentionally ignoring the gazes from all the kings.
This was intentional.
Or it wasn’t.
Azeus had no reason to put Kael in this kind of situation.
No reason that Kael could think of.
But Azeus was not thinking like Kael. Kael could never understand what these immortal kings were thinking so it was wrong for him to assume reasons for any of their actions.
Still, whether they were testing him or not, Kael did not care in this case. He only wanted them to sign with his goals.
As for which name he preferred. Kael already heard one that he liked and he was definitely not afraid of speaking his mind.
"I think Lion Hegemony sounds good," Kael said, "but as Gabriel said, it’s not the name that matters.
It’s the intent."
He didn’t glance up to see but he judged correctly that they were all looking at him with interesting looks of curiosity.
"Speaking of intent," Alexander of Judah spoke this time. His voice was as deep as the abyss. It reverberated with a power that had lain dormant for far too long.
"What was your reason for coming to Original Heaven and how did you survive that detonation from the crystal throne?" Alexander asked.
These were questions that were in the minds of the other kings as well as all the lions who now knew that Kael was in Original Heaven.
How exactly did he do it? How did he survive that battle with Ibadon?
And why did he even bother coming here in the first place? It wasn’t like there was anything good here.
Even Noel, who could step into this world at the peak of his power, had not done so simply because the cost of coming here did not match the benefits that would have been gained.
What was the point of being in the fellowship of all these immortals when none of them would ever be able to leave?
It wasn’t worth it.
Kael cleared his throat, even though there was nothing in it.
He assessed the vibe of the room and acknowledged that it was indeed very hard to ignore some things here. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
He had already laid down all the truths and lies in his mind, it was his choice to tell them.
"As the Primordial Lion, one of my powers allows me to use the Laws of other creatures that I have turned into my subordinates.
One of them is the Primordial Rat of Freedom, just like Seth, the Primordial Cat of Freedom."
Kael decided to tell them what they wanted to know while keeping some crucial details out. He would not tell them how it works or the process for such a thing to happen.
Kael had seen Jordan casually dismiss the power of dozens of laws before throwing him into a pocket space. He didn’t want to give them a weak point to poke at.
He also wasn’t going to tell them that the relationship between him and the Primordials was tied to the various systems that he had also created.
Trying to cut the connection between Kale and his subordinate Primordials was the same as trying to cut a metal cord the width of a star.
It was going to be incredibly hard.
"Oh," Alexander nodded.
"I didn’t know our Primordial Lions could do that..." Phestus said with a frown.
The Primordial Lions of the past had all been able to exercise different kinds of abilities with their powers and affiliation to the law of Conquering, but they had never heard of someone being able to acquire the power of another law.
The only thing they were aware of was that Primordials of Conquering like President Musty had been able to use the power of all the other Lionhearts or horsehearts under certain conditions as those were the most common abilities that had appeared over time.
President Musty had even been able to command absolute loyalty from the Primordials he had conquered, which was something that Noel had been able to do to an extent.
But that ability actually originated from Ishat the Enslaver. She was the first to command loyalty through the use of contracts.
Kael was the first to have a system and also harness the powers of the other Primordials.
So it was no surprise that the kings here were interested. To be able to use the power of other Primordials was a very useful thing to be able to do.
They could think of many ways to use this ability.
Kael paused, allowing them to use their imaginations and think of the potential he had.
He knew that it was standard for Primordials to sometimes come with benefits that could be shared with the entire race.
Incentives were such a wonderful thing if one knew how to control them. It was so powerful that it could bend the wills of Supreme Level Immortals.
Kael wanted to help them, but he wasn’t planning on gaining anything in return.
There was a whole list of benefits he could gain from them all and Kael would make sure they knew he was capable of giving them as long as they aligned with him.
"But why did you come?" Gabriel asked, a frown on his face as he ignored the silent telepathic gossip between the other four kings.
Kael sighed, "I came to break you all out of this prison," He said calmly.
The telepathic gossip instantly stopped and they all looked at Kael intensely.
In those first few seconds, all of them except Alexander had burst into a fit of telepathic laughter.
Jordan’s laugh was the loudest and Kael could even feel the terrifying spirit waves coming from his side.
They weren’t exactly laughing at Kael, they were laughing at the futility of the goal.
They had all tried.
They had all tried and had lost a lot in the process of trying.
The laughter was their way of accepting their eternal fates as prisoners of this inconspicuous prison world.
After calming themselves down and ceasing their laughter, they returned to a serious state.
"Did you have a plan before coming?" Jordan asked. His shoulders trembled and his spine shook due to his contained madness.
Kael shook his head, "Not exactly, but there have been some developments that can help," He said.
"What kind of developments?" Phestus asked, leaning forward with rising interest in this All-King.
Kael had thought about it extensively and was under the guidance of the Wisdom Law.
He waved his hand and a pocket dimension opened behind him. Out of the portal gate fell a large black cat who was none other than Chez, the younger brother of Seth and a promising Scion of the House of Luthor.
Suddenly, a tsunami of killing intent surged forth and the world seemed to be flipped over.
