Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 511: Nefarious Plans
"Ma’abu, what are we going to do now, it seems like your Mentor is messing around with the Primordial Lion," Chen said as he paced around the chamber of command.
Ma’abu sat down comfortably on the pillow throne, even though his mind was not in a state of comfort at all.
He had a worried expression on his face.
"I didn’t expect that she would still be there for so long, no one has reported that she left that area and her continent is still empty," Ma’abu said.
"Do you think she wants to join the Primordial Supporters?" Chen asked, his white furry face coloured with distrust and anxiety.
"I doubt that, she may be just trying to explain something to him. Technically, she’s more likely to support me..." Ma’abu said.
"She’s more likely to support you if your enemy were any other person besides the freaking Primordial Lion.
Didn’t you say she doesn’t like interfering in these types of stuff?" Chen said.
Ma’abu nodded, "She doesn’t. She must have seen something.
She also didn’t take any action against any of us which leads me to believe that she just wanted to stop the conflict."
Chen sighed, "You know that if other tier 7 lions hear that Memphis is interacting...or worse...supporting the Primordial Lion, it would be bad.
Who knows how many would be willing to follow in Memphis’s footsteps just for the shits and giggles.
We need to do something about this.
Can you talk to her?"
Ma’abu immediately shook his head, "If she were still on her continent, I could easily try to meet her.
But now, she’s still there, with that cursed Primordial.
What am I even supposed to tell her? Neither of us have not really spoken to each other since the last time she taught me anything."
"Well, we have to do something about it. Memphis alone could cause a serious chain reaction that would offset all our plans," Chen said.
Ma’abu narrowed his eyes with evident killing intent, "Not if I have anything to do with it," He said.
Chen stopped pacing back and forth. He turned around and paused his gaze on Ma’abu.
"What are you planning?" Chen asked curiously.
Ma’abu rolled his eyes, "I’m not planning anything.
I’ve just been thinking of making some slight adjustments to our overall plans." 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
"Like what?" Chen asked. He didn’t like making sudden adjustments to things like this but since this was a serious matter, he had no choice but to hope that Ma’abu had a really good idea.
Ma’abu stood up from his pillow throne and got down from it. He walked over to Chen with a domineering presence.
"Just as we are making plans to take down the Primordial Lion, he is also making plans to take us down.
We were foolish to expect that the Primordial Lion would not try to take action on his own.
Look at the current state of our String of Fate Coalition. It is an example of Kael’s decisiveness and cruelty in achieving his goals.
Every step we take, we must be aware that he will try to be two steps ahead of us.
In fact, that is what he’s probably planning on doing. He wishes to be several steps ahead of us so that when we finally clash, he can have the advantage.
Oh, how smart he is...hehehe."
Ma’abu let out a sinister laugh and sat down in front of Chen. Chen frowned but also sat down.
"What’s so funny about that? Shouldn’t we be trying to be several steps ahead of him too?" Chen asked.
"Indeed, we should," Ma’abu agreed, "But we should also try to do something else. Let’s think outside this box of ours shall we?
He wants to be several steps ahead, what if we remove the ground? What if he has no ground to take a single step?
What if we blind him so that he can’t even see where to place his foot?
Wouldn’t that be lovely?"
Chen narrowed his eyes.
"And how do you plan on doing that?" Chen wondered.
"Don’t the Primordial Supporters depend on something called the Lion System? It’s also tied to the existence of the Primordial Lion.
I heard it’s one of many mysterious powers.
The key thing is that Kael and his supporters depend a lot on that system.
I also know that the system is not invincible as it has been subject to malfunctions in the past due to a lack of energy.
I also know that Kael is very sensitive to any foreign Law Essence that enters the system. An example was the Destruction Essence from the bastard dragon spy, Pagast.
I also found out that Kael recently used a strange weapon to temporarily shut down the powers of many fortune lions. The weapon doesn’t interest me, but it does give me a very nasty idea.
Do you know where I’m going with this, Chen?" Ma’abu asked.
By now, Chen had a nefarious smile that exposed his long fangs to Ma’abu.
"I know," he said.
"But it’ll take careful planning. No one must know about this," Chen added, "Not even the others. This should be something of an experiment too.
If it works on Kael, we can then use it on the Tiger Primordial, then the Dragons, the bees, the foxes, and all the others.
We would be one step closer to ridding this world of primordials. Then, we can build whole new civilizations where WE are seen as the Primordials!..."
"Don’t get carried away, Chen. That’s what you want, not me." Ma’abu warned.
Chen nodded, "I know," He said, "But you’ll most likely change your mind when that power is at your grasp."
"We shall see," Ma’abu said, narrowing his eyes.
"Speaking of which, I’ve made some other adjustments to the plans.
I don’t want it to look like I’m bothering you but you’ll need to go back to meet your Primordial.
We’ll be speeding some things up from now on.
I don’t know how you want to do it but emphasize that the lions have attacked the tigers or something. Tell him that there are tigers currently trapped in Leonine Heaven.
If he doesn’t help, well, that’s bad for him and good for us. If he does attempt to help out, that would be very good for us.
We can divert everyone’s attention to the tigers while we work on the main plan."
Chen thought for a moment before nodding his head, "No problem, anything to put that fool at a disadvantage."
Ma’abu nodded, "Good. Now, we also have to make sure Victoria can keep the Dragons preoccupied long enough.
It wouldn’t be long before Ibadon notices something,"
Chen scoffed, "What if he has already noticed but is just observing? I seriously doubt if he hasn’t deciphered what is truly happening."
Ma’abu sighed, "Hmmm..."
