Reborn Young Miss: Phoenix Burning Red-Chapter 312: I’m Crazy in Love With You (1)
The wedding day for Alistar and Ayla finally arrived. The bride couldn’t contain her happiness as she sat in the bride’s room, waiting for the ceremony to arrive while receiving greetings and gifts from their guests. She was seated inside a luxurious room, dressed in a white wedding dress adorned with delicate lace and shimmering beads.
Ayla’s heart fluttered with excitement, her eyes sparkling with anticipation as she imagined walking down the aisle towards her beloved Alistar. The room was filled with a sweet fragrance of fresh flowers, adding to the air of joy surrounding this special day.
Her mother entered the room, and Maryam felt a conflicted emotion as she looked at her daughter. She felt that Ayla was too young to settle down, as she had yet to become successful in the showbiz industry. Maryam had been Ayla’s support since she was young, but seeing her daughter pregnant and about to be married had made her anxious for Ayla’s future.
"Mom," Ayla beamed her mother a wide smile as she looked at their reflection in the mirror.
Maryam moved closer to her daughter and adjusted Ayla’s long veil in place. She wasn’t ready to part ways with Ayla yet, not when her marriage to Waylen was going down the hill. Her husband had undergone a drastic change three years ago. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
Waylen was always anxious, as if he felt watched. Their finances had also become problematic as Maryam noticed the sudden decline, with hundreds of thousands losing, and she had no idea where it was spent.
"Dear, are you sure about this?" She asked her daughter.
Ayla turned around and held her mother’s hands.
"Mom, I couldn’t be happier than this," Ayla answered her mother. "You know I’ve always wanted to marry Alistair, right? Even Addie cannot stop me, as you can see."
Ayla had a smug look on her face upon mentioning Adrienne. She purposely sent a wedding invitation to Adrienne, but the latter didn’t confirm her attendance. Ayla’s relationship with Adrienne had always been strained, and she took pleasure in knowing that her impending marriage would likely upset her. Despite the uncertainty of Adrienne’s attendance, Ayla remained confident in her decision to marry Alistair.
Maryam sighed and shook her head.
"I’m not worried about Addie, Ayla. I’m worried about you."
She was more than aware of what her daughter had done to force this wedding to take place between her and Alistair. The child in Ayla’s womb... Maryam was worried about what could happen to her daughter if someone found out the truth about the child.
Seeing the worried look on her mother’s face, Ayla tried to reassure her.
"You worry too much, Mom. I will get rid of this child once it serves its purpose." She said it in a hushed tone.
Maryam’s complexion turned pale upon hearing what her daughter said. She hadn’t expected that Ayla had already made plans and was willing to abort the child. However, she also couldn’t help but agree that this would be the best course of action they could take to keep the secrets from everyone.
"Forget about it and let me deal with the problem, Mom. Only you and I knew the secret. We can’t afford to let anyone else find out, especially not Ayla’s husband or the rest of the family. Trust me, I will handle it discreetly and ensure our secret remains safe."
Maryam nodded reluctantly, her worry evident in her eyes. Until Ayla’s bastard got rid of it, Maryam wouldn’t be able to calm down and worry about Ayla’s safety. Her daughter might have found the thrill of having Alistair in the palm of her hand, but Maryam could see how dangerous and deranged the man was.
If Alistair found out her daughter had lied to him and the Han family, he would surely hurt Ayla and that was what Maryam was worried about.
Their conversation was put on hold when guests arrived to greet Ayla. Maryam could only look at her daughter’s smile, and she didn’t have the heart to question her further.
As the guests began to arrive, Ayla’s excitement began to build even more. She was thrilled to finally be marrying Alistair, even if it meant keeping a secret from him and his family. She knew that Alistair could be dangerous, but she couldn’t help feeling drawn to him.
As she greeted her guests and accepted their gifts, Ayla couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction. She had worked hard to get to where she was, and marrying Alistair was just another step towards her ultimate goal of becoming a successful actress.
But as the ceremony began, Ayla started to feel a familiar sense of panic rise within her. She had always struggled with anxiety, and her wedding day was no exception. As she walked down the aisle towards Alistair, her heart rate increased and her palms began to sweat.
But when she reached the altar, Alistair took her hand and looked deep into her eyes, and Ayla felt a sense of calm wash over her. She knew that she was making the right decision by marrying him.
Ayla greeted each one with a smile and a gracious demeanor. She was the epitome of a blushing bride, and her excitement was infectious. Maryam watched with a heavy heart as her daughter mingled with the crowd, knowing that the secret they shared could destroy everything.
Alistair’s family was among the guests, and they had spared no expense in their wedding gift to the couple. Meanwhile, Maryam watched as the couple interacted, feeling a sense of unease settle in the pit of her stomach. She knew that Ayla was playing a dangerous game, and she couldn’t help but wonder what would happen when Alistair found out the truth about the child.
Maryam took her seat in the front row, her eyes fixed on her daughter as she walked down the aisle towards Alistair. Ayla was radiant, her smile brighter than ever as she approached her groom.
The ceremony was short and sweet, and before Maryam knew it, Ayla and Alistair were already exchanging vows.
