Reborn Young Miss: Phoenix Burning Red-Chapter 268: Ayla’s Scheme (2)
Ayla couldn’t believe her ears when she heard the news about Alistair and her cousin, Adrienne. It felt like a dagger to her heart, shattering all her hopes and dreams of being with him. She had been carrying a torch for him for what seemed like an eternity, quietly nursing her feelings and hoping he would see her in a different light one day. The thought of him ending up with another woman was unbearable for her.
But now, faced with the reality of him planning to marry her cousin, Ayla knew she couldn’t just stand by and watch. Determined to fight for what she believed was rightfully hers, she hatched a daring plan to seduce him that night.
Once she was done filming the scenes for her recent film project, Ayla carefully plotted her every move. She knew that drugging him was risky, but she felt it was her only chance to make him see the depth of her love. She hired a private investigator to track his recent schedule.
Ayla expected Alistair to visit this bar tonight, and she was determined to use this chance to get close to him and execute her plan. She meticulously prepared a drink with a powerful sedative, the same one they used against Adrienne before. She wanted to ensure that it would go unnoticed amidst the hustle and bustle of the crowded bar.
As Alistair sipped from the glass, Ayla’s heart raced with excitement and guilt. She knew what she was doing was wrong, but her desire for Alistair clouded her judgment.
Time seemed to stand still as Ayla anxiously watched for the effects of the sedative to take hold. It wasn’t long before Alistair’s eyelids grew heavy and his movements became sluggish. Ayla noticed that his bodyguards were nowhere in sight, and she took her chance and approached him.
Alistair lifted his head and looked at her in a daze. His eyes were filled with confusion and a hint of recognition, but he couldn’t quite place her.
"Adrienne?" He asked confusedly. "What are you doing here?"
Ayla dressed like Adrienne today. She even used a silky black wig to impersonate her cousin. She knew Alistair was already enamored with Adrienne, and Ayla was determined to use his weakness to her advantage.
As Ayla maintained her composure, she smiled and replied, "Yes, it’s me. I didn’t know you would be here as well, Mr. Han.
Alistair’s confusion slowly turned into a mixture of relief and excitement as he reached out to hold her hand.
"Adrienne, did Lennox leave you? I told you that man is nothing in comparison to me. You belong to me."
Ayla laughed awkwardly and chose to remain silent. She knew Alistair’s infatuation with Adrienne was a vulnerability she could exploit, but she didn’t want to give away her true intentions too soon. Instead, she decided to play along and see where this interaction would lead.
Alistair held Ayla’s hand possessively as he spoke, his eyes shining with a newfound hope and eagerness. Ayla felt a twinge of guilt momentarily as she saw the sincerity in his gaze. But she pushed the feeling aside, reminding herself that this was her chance to have him finally.
"I missed you, Adrienne. I’ve been waiting for the right opportunity to tell you how I feel," Alistair said, his voice low and husky.
Ayla felt a flutter of excitement in her chest as she realized her plan was working. She leaned in closer to him, her breath hot against his ear.
"I missed you too, Alistair. I’ve been thinking about you constantly," Ayla whispered, her voice sultry.
Alistair’s grip on her hand tightened as he pulled her closer, his lips hovering just inches away from hers. Ayla’s heart pounded in her chest as she realized what would happen. She closed her eyes and leaned in, her lips meeting his in a passionate kiss.
For a moment, Ayla forgot everything else as she lost herself in the heat of the moment. Alistair’s kiss was like a drug—intoxicating and addictive. She felt his hands move to her waist, pulling her closer as he deepened the kiss.
But just as quickly as it had started, Ayla pulled away. She saw the confusion in Alistair’s eyes, but she knew that this was just the beginning. She couldn’t risk everything by moving too fast.
Ayla could feel her heart pounding as Alistair held her hand tightly. She knew that her plan was working, and she could see the desire in his eyes. She leaned closer and whispered seductively into his ear, "I’m not with Lennox anymore. I left him for you."
She wanted to make sure Alistair wouldn’t be going anywhere tonight. Her lips curled up seductively. She traced her finger along his jawline, feeling his breath quicken. Ayla knew that the night held endless possibilities, and she was determined to seize every moment with Alistair.
Alistair’s eyes widened with surprise, and he pulled her even closer to him. "That’s all I ever wanted, Adrienne. You and me, together forever."
Ayla smiled inwardly, knowing that she was making progress. She let Alistair lead her out of the bar and bring her to a nearby hotel, where they could be alone. As they sat down, Ayla kept a careful eye on her surroundings. She knew Alistair’s bodyguards could appear at any moment, and she had to be ready. She cannot allow this chance to slip from her hands.
As the night wore on, Alistair became increasingly intoxicated, and it was clear that the sedative was taking effect. Ayla took advantage of his weakened state and began to kiss him passionately. She could feel his hands roaming her body, knowing she had him right where she wanted him.
Alistair was too lost in the moment to notice anything suspicious. The room seemed to spin as he surrendered himself to Ayla’s advances. He was entirely under her spell, unaware of Ayla’s deceit. He was so caught up in the moment and blinded by his lust that he believed the woman before him was Adrienne Jiang.
Ayla endured the night. The man before him was like a wild beast in bed. She had to keep up the act, pretending to be Adrienne as she reveled in her power over him. Ayla knew her true intentions would be revealed once the night ended.
Alistair took her several times, whispering Adrienne’s name as he made love with Ayla. Once everything was over, Ayla covered her naked body and looked at Alistair, who had passed out beside her. Alistair can never marry Adrienne now. The night was a success, and she could finally rest easy knowing that Adrienne would never be with Alistair.
Alistair woke up the following day with a splitting headache. He felt as though a truck had hit him. Confused and disoriented, he tried to piece together the previous night’s events, but his memory was hazy.
As he looked at the woman beside him, rage and anger filled her senses.
"You bitch!" he yelled. "You seduced me!"
Ayla stared blankly at him. Her mind was racing as she tried to come up with a response. Before she could say a word, Alistair grabbed her arm and roughly pulled her out of the bed. His face was contorted with rage, and his grip on her arm was tight and painful.
"What have you done?!" He roared.
The cold floor made Ayla flinch, but she burst into laughter once she recovered from her shock.
"You’re nothing more than a drunken fool," she said. "A pathetic excuse that calls himself a man. Adrienne wouldn’t want to marry you now." She looked up at Alistair with a taunting grin on her face. She could see the anger burning in his eyes.
"Adrienne would never be with a man like you."
