Reborn as an Evolving Space Monster: Harem Of Otherworldly Beauties-Chapter 384: Best...?
This was a solution more than suitable for Roka.
What had started as lust and turned into more… Could be regressed by forsaking lust.
In the first place, being a virgin was never really the problem, it was people learning of the fact that bothered her.
Perhaps, just like she had come to terms with her virginity, Roka would come to terms with the fact that Cero wasn't going to fuck her. Not because he didn't want to or because he didn't like her, but because…
'I'm just not built for that.' Roka admitted to herself.
Thinking back to the numerous times she had seen Cero with Lith, Liz, Rea, or Raya, despite wanting and desiring it, she just couldn't imagine herself in her place. She didn't have it in her.
'Maybe I'm autistic or something.'
Roka found it easier to forsake her desires and lust. She found it to be more comfortable, more likely to bring a more cheerful future.
'I'll get horny again, but who cares? It won't kill me. Just like it hasn't all these times already.'
Thinking back to all the different occasions she had spent time with Cero, Roka could clearly see that her lustful (or romantic) feelings were the stain that dirtied those moments, rendering them awkward or even cutting them short.
Forsaking those made much more sense, because she simply liked Cero that much. She liked him enough that it wasn't just about lust or horniness.
What good are guys if not for scratching the itch? Her mother Rekka used to say. If you want friends, go drink with your homegirls or something.
But Roka had found a guy beyond the itch. A guy she had grown to like more and more, despite the itch remaining all throughout.
Regardless of the fact that she was shy and easily embarrassed.
Regardless of the fact that she felt that at her age, it was too late to learn the basics of intimacy.
Regardless of the fact that her horniness was at times too strong for her to even control.
Standing here, in the middle of a room that they shared, ground covered by pillows they had thrown and wielded like swords, facing him with a chest filled with anticipation and excitement, Roka realized that not only were they not made to be together, but they weren't made to be just friends either.
Remembering all of their time together, as well as the fuzzy feeling in her stomach when thinking about him… It was obvious.
"If I win, and I will," Cero started. "You go to sleep."
"I'd like to see you try." Roka chuckled. "By the way…"
"Hm?"
"Would you say that Kris is a friend of yours?"
"Huh? Yeah, sure."
"Nothing… More?"
"Are you asking if Kris and I have been fucking?"
Roka closed her eyes and took a deep breath. 'I guess I didn't express myself well.' She massaged her forehead to hide her twitching lips. "Nevermind. Forget about it."
"Alright," Cero shrugged, and Roka cracked her knuckles.
The twitching in her lips did not cease, however.
It was such a stupid thing, asking about Kris.
Still, it felt like the only competitor for the position.
'Why should there even be competition for the position?' Roka thought to herself with a chuckle. 'Still, I guess I would like to be reciprocal. Or maybe… To become reciprocal… We have a month together after all.'
She could almost laugh at the old Roka, who had been hoping and counting on this month to further the romance/horniness agenda.
'I think it might already be reciprocal. I mean… Look at us, right?'
There was no way it wasn't reciprocal.
'We're not just friends, we're best friends.' Roka thought to herself with a nod. 'Oh, damn…' She gulped, feeling embarrassed by the thought. 'Oof, are best friends even a thing at our age? I mean… I'm not ten years old anymore.'
Roka thought about other words to express the idea, but none seemed to match perfectly.
'My boy? My homie? Huh… Why isn't there an expression for the two-'
"What the hell are you thinking about?"
"Ha?"
"You've been standing there for god knows how long and-"
"Alright, alright!"
Both brought their center of gravity forward and, as the dim light above flickered,
"Geh!" Roka managed to grab Cero's wrist before the pillow could reach her head. "Isn't going for the head kind of cruel?!"
He ignored her completely, pulling on his arm while using his foot to trip her. But, having been made to stumble earlier, Roka noticed it quickly. She lowered her body at once, pulling his wrist down with all her weight.
Despite having the strength to easily lift her up, Cero played the part and curled his back as if pulled down by her, until Roka's back nearly reached the ground.
When it did, she quickly hopped and wrapped her legs around his arm and neck.
"You're trying to make me tap out?"
"Don't tap…!" Roka shouted through clenched teeth and unstoppable chuckles. "Go sleep!"
"I thought I was the one fighting for sleep?" Cero sighed, and let go of the pillow.
Roka couldn't help but laugh uncontrollably as she thought two crystal-covered tentacles rise from behind him.
"Fuck! Fuck! I completely forgot that you had six of those!"
Roka quickly unwrapped her legs and let go of his wrist before quickly leaping towards her bed. Before she could reach it though, a tentacle wrapped around her ankle, causing her to fall head-first on the mattress.
"Hahahahaha!" Roka laughed as she quickly turned around to face her adversary. 'Yep,' She thought. 'Definitely best friends!'
Cero moved to finish her, but her right hand took hold of his wrist.
"Cheater!"
"Hahhahaha!"
Cero did the same, using his left hand to pin her right hand to the bed.
'Definitely best friends…'
Roka's left hand tried to go for the pillow, but his right hand grabbed her by the wrist before she could reach.
"Ha… Haha…"
"Haha… Ha…"
Smiling and out of breath, the two were forced into a momentary draw.
"Ha…"
Her body tightly held by a skin-tight bodysuit, breasts fighting against the fabric's grasp, face flushed, long hair spread across the bed,
"Ha…"
'Definitely…'
His hands pinning hers to the mattress below, body hovering over hers, bare-chested, and staring deeply into her eyes,
'Best...?'
