They then continued their conversations at a more relaxed pace. They had dinner with Elder Satara and her family before deciding to head back.

However, after the dinner, they all had individual private discussions with Elder Satara. They had many more questions for her about what she saw in their past and future.

Only when those conversations were over did they finally teleport back to Lobelius Palace.

"Welcome back, Sister, Your Majesty..."

"What are you all doing here?!" Arabella was surprised that her siblings were waiting for their return. They had a table set up right beside the spot where Alwin teleported them earlier.

Her younger siblings looked away seeming embarrassed to reply so she eyed Benjamin. He chuckled at their younger siblings’ acting all shy.

It had only been almost a year since Arabella became Ferdinand’s wife, and yet, her younger siblings were already like this around her. They used to speak freely with each other, but now, they were holding much back.

She heard from their thoughts that it was because she was an empress now. Likewise, they were feeling bad since they could not help her to escape this path.

They did not know that this time, Arabella was not running away from Ferdinand and had accepted him.

’Right, I did cry a lot back then and tried to kill myself several times.’

Arabella scratched the back of her head when she realized that for her, it had been more than two decades so it was far from her mind how she acted when she was about to be married to Ferdinand.

However, for her siblings, it must still be fresh in their memories how much she grieved her parting with Prince Andrew and hated her engagement with Ferdinand.

Benjamin had witnessed how she was with Ferdinand at Medeus so he was fine. But their younger siblings did not.

"I already told them you will not leave without saying goodbye, but they insisted on waiting here," Benjamin revealed and their younger siblings gasped.

[How could he reveal that?!!] Nicholas and Eloisa were both wide-eyed and frowned at their oldest.

Lorelei who was the youngest and most pampered among them was more courageous to act out. She pouted and glared at Benjamin. She even attempted to stomp on his foot but Benjamin easily dodged it and patted Lorelei’s head.

"Don’t ruin my hair," Lorelei distanced herself from their oldest.

They chuckled once again at the adorable display. Arabella wanted to pat Lorelei’s head too, but maybe later once they had spoken with each other much more intimately. She could feel the distance that her younger siblings had maintained ever since this morning.

"Are you really going back so soon? Can’t you stay even just for a night?" Lorelei implored as she looked up to meet Arabella’s eyes.

Arabella gulped at the teary-eyed Lei. How could she say no to Lei unknowingly using this puppy-dog eyes look on her?

Due to missing her son a lot, Arabella was already weak to children as it is. Now they even act so adorable in front of her.

’If it’s just for tonight, I guess it should be fine as long as we can still be on time for tomorrow’s Court Session.’

Arabella turned to her husband and acted all cutesy as she asked, "Uhm, Ferdinand, can we? We can return early tomorrow morning so we can still be on time for the Court Session." 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂

She knew they could not be absent since there were still a lot of important matters to discuss. Thus, tonight was the only time she could bond with her siblings until their next visit.

This was a sudden visit and she simply wanted to see them even just for a bit so she did not think this far ahead.

[How can I say no when she asks like this? Her little siblings are adorable too. It seems they want to spend time with her too. But they are still somewhat wary of me.] Ferdinand noticed.

[I already know how His Majesty would respond. This is exactly why I don’t need a mate. I don’t want all my decisions to be directed at one person.] Alwin almost sighed as if he was not always doing things for Ferdinand.

’Haha, you’ll know why once you experience it, Alwin,’ Arabella thought.

"Yes, of course. If that’s what you want," Ferdinand immediately agreed, much to her siblings’ surprise.

[He agreed just like that?]

They thought Ferdinand would say no.

’Hehe. He’s more understanding and flexible than you think.’

"Thank you!" Arabella smiled and her husband smiled back.

[She looks happy. She must have missed them a lot. And yet, I was so selfish and did not allow her to visit here until now.]

Ferdinand felt bad when he recalled that Arabella asked permission to visit Lobelius in the past months but he always said no. Thus, they headed to Medeus instead so she could meet her parents.

"Spend some time with Benjamin then," Arabella had already talked a lot with Benjamin while they were in Medeus so she wanted to focus on their younger siblings this time.

"What?! Am I not your sibling?!" Benjamin complained as if he was offended heavily.

"Geez. We already talked a lot in Medeus. I want to speak with these three," Arabella glanced at her younger siblings who quickly went to her side when she walked in their direction.

"Elder Brother, you already got yours. It’s unfair to cut in line after you already spent so much time together," Lei stood in front of Arabella and blocked Benjamin from joining them.

[So they are just going to throw me away to deal with this Emperor while they spend time together? How am I even going to deal with this person?] Benjamin glanced at Ferdinand and back at their younger siblings.

The three did not relent so Benjamin sighed and said, "Alright. Alright. Have fun together."

With that, Arabella said her goodbyes to Ferdinand and Alwin. Rendell still followed as her guard.
