Chapter 673: Chapter 673: Never Forsake Your Life Again

Arabella gulped as she felt like she knew where this was going.

"On the day I was summoned when Ella returned to the palace after the attack at Mt. Callion, I sensed the presence of your protection spells on her. Thus, when her parents sought my help regarding her marriage and what to do to stop the monster attacks from becoming often again, I only picked out the envelope when I sensed your presence on it. I felt that such a strong presence would be able to stop the monster’s attacks on her."

Just like Arabella’s parents, Elder Satara thought it was for the best so Arabella could live without the sudden attacks from monsters especially since she remembered the attack on Mt. Callion.

"However, I did not know that someone as great and mighty as yourself had graced the human realm. I thought only the descendants of the first who ruled had lived on in Valeria," Elder Satara explained.

"I see. We did not feel your presence last time since your mana had been spread out in all of Lobelius over the years and had become a part of the land," Ferdinand noted.

Alwin nodded at Ferdinand’s words since he was brooding about why he did not feel it at all during the times he was sent here to Lobelius repeatedly both in this life and the past.

"Does this mean you have no clue as to who tried to kill Arabella when she was a child and who kept sending monsters to attack her?" Ferdinand inquired.

Elder Satara gulped nervously at Ferdinand’s question.

"I do not know who they are exactly but they are one and the same. I could not feel their mana or presence but I could tell they were one and the same," Elder Satara said and Arabella gulped.

After all, the Elder was right.

"What does that mean?" Ferdinand frowned.

"I am very much grateful that you have taken Ella as mate. The one chasing her is someone way beyond our ability. I do not know what reason they had for it. But they are after Arabella’s life. They still might, so please keep protecting her no matter what happens," Elder Satara and her two children bowed.

"Of course, I will. Arabella is my wife and my mate now. She will come with me to Estrella," Ferdinand bragged.

"Oh, you have decided to live in Estrella?" Elder Satara eyed Arabella.

"Yes, Elder. I accepted Ferdinand so I will fulfill my role as his wife here and live with him in Estrella later," Arabella explained.

"I see. That’s good. You and your children will be safer there," Elder Satara smiled as if she had seen something of the future.

Ferdinand did not fail to notice and said, "Children?! Have you seen it with that special ability of yours?! How many children will we have?"

"Oh my, Great Primordial, even I cannot tell you that. We can only wait for the future. I wish I could live long enough to see them in person," Elder Satara beamed.

"Mother! That’s cheating. I want to see them too," Laurence and Laurencia eyed their Mother with envy.

"Elder Satara, will you please look at me," Arabella excitedly rose and held the Elder by the shoulders.

When the Elder’s eyes met her gaze, Arabella gasped as she saw four children. One male and two females. She could not see their faces clearly but even in such a state, she recognized that they resembled her and Ferdinand.

"I... I’m really going to have children with Ferdinand, right?!" Arabella asked the Elder, tears already filling her eyes as she felt relief wash over her.

After all, she had lingering fears that Fermin might never be born again due to the delayed date of birth for a year.

But with what she saw in the Elder’s thoughts, she felt assured that she would see Fermin again along with two adorable daughters and one more son.

"Of course, my child. You have a long future ahead of you. Let me read your palms if you are worried," Elder Satara offered as she gently rubbed Arabella’s back.

"Really? Please do," Arabella removed the gloves on her hands to let Satara take a look at her palms.

However, once Elder Satara touched her bare hand and took one glance at her palms, tears fell uncontrollably from the Elder’s eyes. Her body even shook as she cried and hugged Arabella tightly.

"My goodness! My poor child. You’ve been through so much," Elder Satara cried and for some reason, Arabella felt like the Elder was comforting her for everything she went through in her past life. She could not help but cry as well.

"W-What’s going on?! What’s wrong?" Ferdinand asked with a puzzled and panicked look.

Arabella smiled at him despite the tears in her eyes to assure him everything was alright. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

[Why are they both crying like this so suddenly?! What did the Elder see?! Arabella’s trying to tell me to calm down but it pains me every time she smiles despite her tears.]

"You’ve been through so much, my dearest Ella. There are still a lot of challenges you will face. But rest assured that the stars have aligned. The fates have woven what was once broken and set things as they should be. You will find your happiness someday. So please hold on and persevere. All your efforts will be rewarded," Elder Satara said as held Arabella tightly.

[It always pains me when I see my children and their kin go through a lot of hardships. But as far as I’ve witnessed, everything will work out in the end. I know Ella will get through this life.]

"Never ever forsake your life again, promise me that," Elder Satara said and Arabella was wide-eyed. Especially when Ferdinand’s horrified and panicked gaze met hers.

[Forsake her life?!! What was that supposed to mean?!] Ferdinand did not peel his eyes off her.

"Promise me, Ella. You will never ever do that again," Elder Satara pulled away so she could look Arabella in the eyes.
