Chapter 33: Setting Towards the Outside World

A Thunder Tiger stood as it looked warily towards its surroundings. It was surrounded by three children—Zephyr, Stryx, and Noctheria. They surrounded the Thunder Tiger in a triangular formation.

The Thunder Tiger looked at the children that surrounded it. Their aura had changed, and it shocked him. They now emitted killing intent from their eyes. He looked at their eyes that had turned bestial, but they emitted a domineering aura that shocked the Thunder Tiger.

Zephyr and Stryx’s figures disappeared from the Thunder Tiger’s vision. He saw them above him in the next moment; purple-golden thunder was being released from their bodies. He could feel how fast their speed was. They punched toward the Thunder Tiger, who defended against it.

But as he defended it, he suddenly felt the aura of death close by. He looked to his side and saw Noctheria—with a fist too.

This sent the Thunder Tiger a few steps back as he felt the aura of death from Noctheria invading his body, which he found troublesome to heal.

The battle continued as the children began to battle with the Thunder Tiger. Meanwhile, Drake and Kaidros had both secured the place where the Thunder Tiger might try to escape.

As the Thunder Tiger battled the children, he realized that he was mistaken. Their strength was very strong, and there was a sync between their movements.

He remembered Drake’s words—that if he was able to defeat them, he would be allowed to leave with his life intact. Nonetheless, he was still shocked and astonished by the fact they were this strong after a year.

"Tiger Roar!"

The Thunder Tiger opened its mouth as it let out a majestic tiger roar, which sent the children a few steps back. Drake looked at them when he saw this. He had warned them not to use the Dragon Roar skill so that their position wouldn’t be exposed.

Stryx, Noctheria, and Zephyr looked at the Thunder Tiger with killing intent. Suddenly—

"Kaidros, cover this place so that no one would be able to hear the sound from here," Drake told him.

Suddenly, three Draconic roars shocked the Thunder Tiger as it was stunned to see the dragon image behind the children.

A purple-gold dragon and a pitch-grey dragon. Suddenly, he was surprised by the fact that the children glowed, and he saw what replaced their figures.

A purple-golden rabbit covered in Draconic scales—its eyes were purple-golden, exuding dominance. The rabbit had a Draconic horn and tails. A pitch-grey rabbit covered in Draconic scales—its eyes were pitch grey, emitting a deadly aura. The rabbit had a Draconic horn, tails, and claws.

Zephyr, Stryx, and Noctheria had transformed into their true forms, surrounding the Thunder Tiger once again. The Thunder Tiger, who saw this, was devastated by the scene, as its primal instinct of fear and survival spiked up.

"Dragon..." the Thunder Tiger muttered, subconsciously looking at Drake, who smiled towards it, with his golden eyes piercing into it. The Thunder Tiger was shocked as it dared not look at Drake again. Looking at him this time, it felt it wasn’t looking at a human but a dragon.

The rumors of a dragon appearing—the Thunder Tiger believed it was true because on that very day it had submitted to the roar too. When it laid its eyes on Drake, it felt he was the Dragon. It now understood the changes of the Rabbits.

It looked around to see if it could escape, but Drake and Kaidros had blocked everywhere. It knew it had no option but to fight, so this time it used its full strength to attack the children.

A few minutes passed.

A silver-haired young man in his twenties was walking with a two-year-old child with black hair and golden eyes. The child had three rabbits in his hands—two of them were purple, and the last one was pitch grey.

This was Drake and the members of the Vorr Dragon Clan. One might wonder what had happened to the Thunder Tiger, but it was already dead. When Stryx, Zephyr, and Noctheria transformed into their Draconic forms, it was all suppression, as the Thunder Tiger was wounded until it was killed.

Now Drake was planning on going to the human settlement to know more about the world. Kaidros had explained a lot about the Origin Continent to him, even though his knowledge was limited.

What he knew was that the Origin Continent had five parts: North, West, East, South, and Central. All other parts were seas and oceans. He also told him about each empire that ruled the parts.

Drake got to know that there were sects here too, but the Origin Continent also had technology and social awareness—it’s just that the old ways can’t really be changed.

According to Kaidros, sects are rated from D to S Rank, and there is only one S Rank sect in the Southern Region. It takes some protocol and criteria for a sect to enter S Rank.

One thing surprising about Kaidros was that Drake learned he was the Sect Master of an A-Rank sect called Sword Spirit Sect. There were seven A-Rank sects: the Sword Spirit Sect, the Thunder Villa, the Blood Valley, Fire Blossom, the Earth Boulder, the Ice Palace, and the Wood Champ.

These were the seven A-Rank sects. As for the only S-Rank sect, it is called the Arcane Sect. Drake got to learn that in order to be an S-Ranked sect, you must have two cultivators in the Origin Saint Realm—which is harder than crossing a broken space portal—and eight Origin Ancestor Realm cultivators.

As for an A-Rank sect, you must have four Origin Ancestor Realm and ten Origin King Realm cultivators.

Drake asked about the Emperor and Supreme Realms. Kaidros said that it’s rare to see Emperor Realm cultivators—only the Central Region has a dense population of them. As for the Supreme Realm, it was illustrious to cultivators of this continent because breaking through the Emperor Realm takes thousands of years and luck.

When Drake heard all of this, he would say he was surprised about this world and couldn’t wait to see the path it had for him.
