Ranaway From Wedding, Fell into Tycoon's Love Trap-Chapter 82 Where are you taking me?
Chapter 82 - 82 Where are you taking me?
Under the guise of going to the convenience store to buy something, Lily Turner sent Helena up to the hotel first. After confirming that everyone from the crew had gone inside, she carefully approached the familiar figure.
Worried about paparazzi nearby, she didn't stop moving when she reached the figure but gradually slowed her pace.
"Mr. Zheng?! It really is you, just now I thought I was seeing things." As she walked past Easton Holmes, Lily's steps slowed to almost a stop, and she tilted her head to look at him standing in the corner.
With a sharp gaze, Easton discreetly scanned the surroundings and, after confirming nothing seemed unusual, took a step forward, pulled Lily silently, and led her aside. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm
"Where are you taking me?"
The sudden situation left Lily both puzzled and amazed. She glanced around cautiously, fearing being spotted, as paparazzi could be everywhere and nowhere at once.
Easton glanced at the somewhat anxious woman, "If you're scared of being seen by others, just behave and come with me."
Though dissatisfied with Easton's attitude, Lily did not refute him nor shake off his hand, and she cooperatively followed him aside.
Seeing the woman being so compliant, Easton sped up his pace a bit, stopping by his car. He opened the passenger side door and half-pushed, half-carried Lily into the car.
After closing the passenger side door, he walked around the front of the car to get in on the driver's side. Once inside, without a word, he started the engine and drove away from the hotel.
"Where are you taking me?"
Lily initially thought Easton brought her into the car to discuss something, but to her surprise, he said nothing, just got in and drove off with her. She tilted her head to look outside the car.
Looking was pointless—she was naturally terrible with directions, unable to find her way even during the day, let alone at night.
Easton merely glanced at Lily in the passenger seat, not saying a word to clear her confusion, keeping his eyes focused ahead and driving intently.
She was pulled into the car without a word and now was being driven away without a word.
Lily's heart was filled with both confusion and anxiety. Earlier she told Helena she was going to the convenience store, but if she didn't return soon, Helena would surely come looking for her.
"If I'm gone for too long, the crew will come looking for me." She didn't ask the man driving where he was taking her but instead voiced her concern outright.
"Call your assistant and say there's an urgent family matter, so you've gone home." Easton continued looking straight ahead at the road, and if Lily hadn't seen his mouth move, she might have thought she was hearing things.
Lily shifted her position to face the man driving, looking puzzled, "You..."
"You'd better call your assistant now. Keep wasting time with me and it'll be morning." Easton maintained his concentrated driving stance, not even turning his head.
Lily was very displeased by this. While dissatisfied, she had to admit the man made a valid point. She took her phone out of her bag and then realized she hadn't turned it on yet.
She quickly powered it on, and after doing so, several missed call notifications appeared. She quickly glanced through them; all of the missed calls were from him.
