Lily Turner didn’t go back to the ward but stood at the door waiting, so she could ask Easton Holmes for the phone after he finished the call.

But he just glanced at the phone and didn’t seem to intend to answer it, which made her frown in confusion, "Why aren’t you answering the phone?"

She wanted to move closer to see who was calling, but before she could get near, he moved his hand holding the phone to the side.

"You need to step back for this call."

After saying that, Easton turned to look at Thomas Fisher, who was watching the scene, "Why don’t you accompany your sister-in-law inside for a chat? I need to take a call."

While speaking, he gave a signal with his eyes to his good buddy.

Seeing the look from Easton, Thomas understood and walked over briskly, "Sister-in-law! I’ll accompany you inside for a chat. If you want to call your sister, you can use my phone."

He had been standing by the side earlier, paying close attention to what was happening.

Hearing Thomas’s words, Lily turned around excitedly to look at him, as if she’d just found a treasure.

Once inside, Lily immediately asked Thomas for his phone. She felt a bit embarrassed addressing him by name, and calling him "Brother Thomas" might upset her companion.

After some consideration, she decided that calling him "Savior" was more fitting, and more importantly, it wouldn’t upset anyone.

Seeing the anxious look on Lily’s face, Thomas guessed she must have something urgent and didn’t tease her. He promptly took out his phone and handed it to her.

"You can use my phone as much as you want." After lending her the phone, he thoughtfully walked over to the sofa. Almost reaching the sofa, he suddenly stopped and turned his head to inform her, "The screen unlock code is 518."

Upon hearing this, Lily burst out, "518, I’m going to prosper! Savior, you’re so genuine."

"Can’t help it, I’m just an honest guy by nature."

Thomas smiled at Lily before sitting down on the sofa. She didn’t follow him, nor did she say anything else.

Lily stayed where she was, unlocked the phone, and quickly typed a text message to Alice Turner.

"Sis! Call back on this number when you can."

When Alice received Lily’s text, she had already convinced Sophia Wood to get into the car, not her own car, but Sophia’s. The two were about to drive home.

Seeing that Sophia had turned the car around, Alice then felt relieved to call Lily back. While returning the call, she didn’t forget to follow along in her car.
