Chapter 457: Chapter 457: United as Husband and Wife 7

Hearing Lily Turner’s words, Easton Holmes withdrew the hand covering Thomas Fisher’s mouth, and before taking it back, he patted Thomas Fisher’s head, "For your sister-in-law’s sake, I’ll let you off today. If there’s a next time, you’ll be eating this."

After saying that, he slowly pulled back his other hand.

Once freed, Thomas Fisher finally breathed a sigh of relief and spat out the sour plum from his mouth. Although it wasn’t bitten through, he felt a sour taste lingering.

He ran into the restroom to rinse his mouth. Whether it was psychological or the rinse truly worked, he felt his taste in his mouth return to normal.

"Goddess Lily! Thanks for just now."

As soon as Thomas Fisher returned from the restroom, his first task was to thank Lily Turner. He no longer called her sister-in-law but addressed her as Goddess Lily.

He did this entirely on purpose, just to annoy his big brother who forced him to eat sour plums. To irritate his brother even more, he moved around to sit on the other side of the bed beside her.

Just as Thomas Fisher came out of the restroom, Easton Holmes noticed his displeasure. Seeing the current situation confirmed his suspicions.

"You brat! You better behave, or I’ll throw you out." He reached out and pulled his wife into his arms, keeping her away from the trouble-seeking person.

Seeing this, Thomas Fisher sighed inwardly, but his surface expression remained unchanged, still maintaining his earlier sulky demeanor, "Goddess Lily! Look at your husband, he’s only bullying me. You can’t just watch and do nothing; after all, I’m your lifesaver."

He even pulled the lifesaver card, though he didn’t have too high hopes.

"Lifesaver?"

Despite Thomas Fisher’s long speech, Easton Holmes only caught the word ’lifesaver’ and specifically pointed it out to question.

"Of course, a lifesaver."

Thomas Fisher glanced at Lily Turner, "Right? Goddess Lily! That time at the bar, I helped you take care of that fat pig when your husband..."

As he spoke, he stopped because he saw his brother staring coldly at him.

Easton Holmes glared at Thomas Fisher, his stern face full of displeasure, "Didn’t my wife already thank you? You plan on reminiscing about one good deed for a lifetime?"

Before he had finished speaking, he leaned over to smack his good brother’s head, but his hand was intercepted halfway.

"Brother Thomas is right, back then..."

"Brother Thomas?!"

Before Lily Turner could finish her sentence, Easton Holmes interrupted her, "You’re my wife. Is it appropriate to call him brother?"

When he said ’my wife,’ he deliberately emphasized it heavily, making it clear to her.

"But he’s older than me. Should I just call him Thomas instead of Brother Thomas?" Lily Turner, although not sure how much older Thomas Fisher was, thought he must be older since he’s friends with Easton Holmes. How much older, she didn’t know.

Easton Holmes poked her head affirmatively, correcting, "He is older, but now you’re Mrs. Holmes, not the Goddess Lily he refers to. Just call him by name."

He not only corrected her way of addressing his good brother but also pointed out what was inappropriate, implicitly signaling his good brother to pay attention.
