Alice Turner’s deliberate actions were fully noticed by Lily Turner, who was well aware of why Alice was doing that. She didn’t stop her sister, letting her change the channels with the remote control.

She wasn’t in the mood to watch TV at all; her mind had already left the ward with Easton Holmes.

She didn’t know how he was handling things, or what way he would choose to solve this matter.

Seeing Lily Turner staring blankly at the TV, looking absent-minded, Alice Turner sat down on the bed with the remote control.

She glanced at her distracted sister and started changing channels with the remote, casually asking, "What do you want to watch?"

Lily didn’t hear Alice’s question at all, as she was still lost in her own thoughts.

Not hearing anything for a long time, Alice frowned slightly and turned to look at her sister sitting beside her, "What are you thinking about?"

She gave her distraught sister a gentle nudge, worried her sister might accidentally get pregnant. She dared not push hard, just gently signaled her concern.

"I just spaced out for a moment, don’t look at me like that." Lily said as she wrapped her arm around Alice’s, trying to change the subject. She took the remote from Alice’s hand and started pressing the buttons on the TV.

"Sis! You watch the TV, and if you see something you like, just say stop." She kept her eyes on the TV, acting as if she was seriously changing channels.

Hearing what Lily said, Alice turned her gaze towards the TV in front of them, "You know me, I rarely watch TV. Anything is fine, whatever you prefer."

She always had her schedule full and really didn’t have the leisure time to watch TV.

It’s no exaggeration to say she was usually busy like a spinning top.

"Then I’ll just make the decision myself."
