Raised From The Wild-Chapter 79: The Tree House
Prince Ibarra frowned. "Father, it is a family breakfast. Besides, It is very early in the morning to receive guests." He casually glanced at Marx and Dave. ’Why did he come so early in the morning? It is not even 7:00 am yet. Some people are still in bed.’
"We will leave in a while, Your Majesty and just meet with you at the Museum at 10:00 am for the formal turnover. I went here to check if there is no problem with the tiara for Amaya. If there is, then I have time to have it fixed."
Marx took out an exquisite jewelry box made from sandalwood. He opened it and presented it to Tiara to Amaya.
Amaya was visibly surprised. Both the king and the crown prince were dumbfounded. They had not seen a tiara as beautiful as the one inside the sandalwood box.
Amaya’s eyes glistened. "It is very beautiful. I saw the drawn design but I never thought the outcome will be like this."
"Let us see if it fits or if this needs to be adjusted." Marx approached Amaya and disregarding the presence of the King and the Crown Prince, he placed the tiara on top of her head. It fitted perfectly.
Amaya went to the side of the wall where there was a mirror. The tiara was even more beautiful on her head. The little diamonds cascaded like waterfalls. the base of the tiara was decorated with pink sapphire and pink opal.
Amaya finally let loose the tears she was holding. She turned towards Ibarra and hugged him tight.
"Daddy, I missed you so much. I wish you are here to celebrate my birthday."
Prince Ibarra stiffened. He did not expect Amaya to pounce on him and hugged him. He patted her back and allow her to seek comfort from his embrace. He knew that at the moment, Amaya was treating him as a substitute for Ibrahim. He was not angry at all. In fact, he pitied the young woman who was crying in her arms now.
After some time, Amaya calmed down and let go.
"This is the last jewelry that Daddy designed before he left." Her voice cracked.
"It is very beautiful Aya. I did not know that Ibrahim was good at jewelry design."
Marx handed another box to Amaya. "You can try that later on. See you later." He reached out to wipe the streak of tears on her face then innocently put his hands in his pocket. He and Dave left the room.
The Royal Family, including the King’s other sons and daughters and their children all went to the museum. That day was the museum’s opening day but it was exclusively for the Royal Family.
Amaya stayed in the same car as her grandmother. Yohan was also with them. During the trip, Amaya listened to her grandmother as she shared stories about the things fun things that twins did when they were young.
The museum was located near an old church in the eastern part of the city. It was a two-story building with lush vegetation surrounding it. At the entrance of the building was a mini version of the three cascading pools that Amaya used to bathe in Liraya. At the side of the pool was a replica of the tree house.
"Grandma, Grandpa, that’s the pool where I used to bathe in Miraga. That tree house is my and Daddy’s vacation home in the jungle." Amaya exclaimed. Before her grandparents can reply, Amaya darted to the treehouse and used a vine which was actually a rope that was dyed to look like a vine, and hoisted herself up the tree house with ease.
The Royal Family was shocked. Marx who was standing at the entrance smiled. Then he was lost in his thoughts. He relieved the moments he shared with Amaya in that tree house. How he wished that he could have stayed on the island longer.
Donello ran toward the bottom of the tree house. "Sister that was cool. Can I try it?"
"Sure." Amaya let down two vines.
"This should be very easy." Donello held unto one vine and tried to hoist his body up. No matter how he tried he can only lift his body no more than one meter from the ground. He tried again with two ropes but he failed again.
"Sister, how did you do it?" He shouted from below the tree house. He sounded frustrated. How come his sister made it look too easy?
Amaya jumped from the tree house which was about three meters tall. She perfectly landed beside Donello who has his mouth wide open.
She took the rope from him and repeated her move of hoisting her body up the tree house.
"Common Don, you can do it. Put your feet against the tree and climb slowly." She encouraged her brother.
Donello was embarrassed. Why did he not think of that earlier? He held the one rope with both his hands and placed his feet on the tree. He moved his hands on the rope alternately at the same time that he used his feet to climb up the tree. When he reached the top, Amaya pulled him up.
The people including the paparazzi who were watching clapped their hands. Donnello blushed in embarrassment.
There is nothing much to see on the tree house so he wanted to get down right away. He looked down and conclude that he will definitely suffer from a broken leg if he jumped.
Amaya lowered a bamboo ladder. "You can use this to go down."
Without waiting for Donello to reply, Amaya jumped down from the tree house. She caught a glimpse of Marx at the entrance. Her two cousins Tatiana and Zanzara were standing beside him but Marx was looking at her. She waved her hand excitedly then she rejoined her grandparents who were standing in front of the three cascading pools and looking at her dumbfounded.
"Grandpa, Grandma, let’s go inside. I can’t wait to show you the things that I and Daddy Ibrahim made on the Island and how we lived there."
