Raised From The Wild-Chapter 269: The Identity Of Dragon Lord
The meeting ended after thirty minutes. Each State agreed to assign resources to take on missions of looking into the Dark Phoenix Organization. The missions would be published in the secured website of the Alliance and those who would take the missions will be assigned partners.
The Secretary-General made another call. It was for General Jones of the Security Council.
"General Jones, there is something I want from you." 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
"What is it, Secretary General?"
"I heard from Supremo X that you recently got a detailed report about the plans of Dark Phoenix. Is this true?"
"That is true, Sec - Gen." General Jones’s answer was concise.
"Is it from DragonLord?" The Secretary-General was excited.
General Jones paused from the other side.
"Yes, Sec-Gen, the report was from DragonLord."
"Then, can I get his contact information? I had long wanted to meet him. Now, with my current identity, I should be able to meet him without endangering his privacy."
"I am sorry Secretary - General, but it is impossible for you to meet him in person."
"Impossible? Why is it impossible? I can protect his identity." The Secretary-General sounded anxious.
"Sec-Gen, DragonLord is dead!" General Jones did not beat around the bush.
"Dead?" But how did you get the report if he is dead? Did he die after submitting the report?"
"He died about three years ago. We did not do an autopsy but he died of an illness." General Jones was sad.
"Then how did you get the report if he is dead? Is the report accurate? Could it be fabricated?"
"He left his watch to his daughter. The chip was hidden inside his watch. We got hold of his watch or rather the chip more than two months ago. The daughter doesn’t have an inkling of how important the info in that watch was."
"Then, can you tell me who is the real identity of DragonLord? I am still baffled at how he and his team have gotten the important lead on Operation Unicorn. What a valiant man. We did not even give him the medals for his courage."
"He was fearless and a rare talent. It was unfortunate that he was no longer around. His name is Ibrahim Rocas, the twin brother of the crown prince of Lireya."
The Secretary-General froze. Ibrahim Rocas. Why was the name sound so familiar?
"Isn’t the man who was stranded in an unknown island together with his daughter? The one that Marx Skylar rescued? The one whose works are displayed in a museum in one of the Skylar building?" the Secretary-General was flabbergasted.
General Jones hummed from the other line.
The Secretary-General chuckled. He was obsessed with DragonLord. He admired him because he was fearless.
Similarly, Marx Skylar, his grandson, was also obsessed with Ibrahim Rocas to the point that he built a museum to showcase his genius. Indeed, they were very similar. Like Grandpa, like grandson.
The following day, Hendrix visited the Ibrahim Rocas Museum in SkyScapes. if he did not have the chance to meet with him in person, then he would get to know him from his work.
The museum in SkyScapes was a replica of the museum in Lireya. At the entrance of the museum was the lifesize painting of Ibrahim. He looked ruggedly handsome with his shoulder-length hair and stubble on his chin and around his mouth.
He tried to conjure the image of a young Ibrahim wearing the stealthy uniform as he led his team to steal and gather intel from within the enemy’s territory. His lips curled up slightly. He was the one who received that report and passed it to the Alliance Secretary-General at that time.
He wandered around and examined the portraits of a beautiful woman and a child. The child should be Amaya but who was the woman? She should be the mother as the resemblance is very noticeable.
"What a rare talent."
He continued to walk until he found himself standing in front of a big LED where video clips were playing in a loop.
He studied the video of the plane crash. The video was just a slide show of photos. One of the photos has a caption. It described the hypothesis on how Ibrahim survived the plane crash.
The photo was enlarged and the exit at the tail of the plane was encircled in red.
’This is where Ibrahim exited by blowing up the emergency exit. He waited a second before the plane exploded before he blew up the door of the emergency exit.
’This is Ibrahim, escaping from the burning flame.’
’This is Ibrahim, with the parachute already open.’
"So that is how he survived," Hendrix muttered to himself.
He entered the gallery and it was arranged in chronological order, starting from the early years of the father and daughter on the Island.
Hendrix saw how the tools Ibrahim created progressed from crude-looking to better versions of the tool.
He found the first axe that Ibrahim built out of polished stone. He took it out of its casing and casually lifted with his hand. It was heavy.
The Skylar patriarch was amazed by how Ibrahim had created so many things in the span of fifteen years. When he discovered metals, he built tools and knives from them. There were also jars and clay pots of varying sizes and shapes.
He went to a section where Ibrahim had cataloged all the metals and precious gemstones he discovered on the island.
"That bastard! It looked like he had struck gold on that island. No wonder he was always in a hurry and did not want to leave Lireya.
He studied the metals and the gemstones that were neatly arranged on a rectangular wood. His eyes widened when he identified a few precious stones that were worth millions.
"No wonder, Marx is not afraid of leaving the Skylar conglomerate. He should have a lot jewel that he could monetize later on.
Hendrix left the main gallery and leisurely walked into a smaller room. He saw Ibrahim’s clothes and more paintings. He also saw Amaya’s princess’s dress and the tiara that she used on her seventh birthday.
"What the heck! Did he even sew dresses and designed jewelry?"
Hendrix was dumbfounded. Just what kind of a man was Dragon Lord? No wonder his grandson has so much respect for him.
