Chapter 202: Takes Two To Tango

Princess Amaya was in a daze as she gazed into his stormy eyes.

"You changed the color of your eyes back to blue, Marx." Amaya could not take her eyes away from him.

His mask that resembled a dragon’s head, covered half of his face. His angular jawline and his lips that begged to be kissed were visible. His unruly red hair cascading down his shoulders gave him a rugged handsome look.

"How did you get hair like that?" Amaya asked innocently.

"It is just a wig." Marx replied curtly.

"A wig?" Amaya frowned. She recognized the fact that there were still many things that she has not come across in the civilized world.

Marx did not answer her question. He placed his right hand on her waist and held her other hand with his left hand. He was about to lead her to the middle of the dance floor when their way was blocked by the man in a panther’s mask.

"You are stealing my dance partner, Mister!" Amaya heard a deep cold voice from behind her and the hair on her body stood on their ends.

"The music has already ended Mr. Black Panther. She can dance with her next partner just like you can select a new partner." Marx replied in an equally cold voice.

For a moment, Princess Amaya felt that she was in the middle of the North and South poles. Two opposing forces that were about to get into each other’s throat. People who were nearby retreated because of the dangerous aura coming from the two tall men.

Before Marx could say his next words, a woman wearing a black cocktail dress and a matching black panther mask with silver trimmings approached the man in the panther mask and started swaying her body in front of him. Her gown stopped right above her knees showing a lot of her fair slender legs.

"I can be your next partner, Black Panther. I am your counterpart after all." She said in a seductive tone dispelling the tension in the air.

Behind the panther mask, the man’s lips curled up. Tonight was really fun. There were so many beautiful women around. He reached out and clasped his hand over her outstretched hand. He pressed his lips on the back of her hand. He then grasped her narrow waist and dug his fingers into her flesh. She frowned because he was hurting her but she did not complain.

"I like an assertive and seductive woman like you. Let’s do the tango. You should know it right?" the Black Panther asked. ’Of course, she knows. She was Ra-Iya’s famous dance instructor after all.’ The black panther smiled seductively behind the mask. The woman nodded and winked at him.

The music started playing and everyone was surprised to learn that it was a Tango dance.

Not everyone can dance the tango so only four pairs were left. Marx looked at Amaya and asked if she wanted to dance. She nodded. Her governess has recently arranged a dance instructor for her and he taught her the basic and advance steps of tango.

Amaya was a fast learner. Coupled with the fact that she has a very flexible body, her dance instructor praised her for her dancing skills.

When the other dancers realized that their skills were laughable when compared to the two pairs who were beautifully dancing, they left the dance floor and watched at the sideline.

One pair was dancing a dance of passion and seduction. Their steps and movements were flirtatious but hautingly beautiful and whimsical. The other pair was dancing in harmony with fluid motions of the forward and backward steps and the twirls. The two people connect and flow together on the dance floor like one person, showing love, respect, and care for each other.

Amaya’s skirt was made of chiffon and it has a slit on both sides allowing her free movement despite of the fact that the dress was ankle length. The translucent material also showed the outline of her long and slender legs which made her looked sexy. The kind of look that was innocent and not vulgar.

The audience were entranced by the two pairs. The two males were equally good and they were able to lead their partners well. The two women danced as if they were baring their souls.

The woman in the black gown was a temptress with a voluptuous figure. Like her, Princess Amaya has a lovely figure but the way she danced made Tango looked romantic and elegant.

"Hmm, don’t tempt me. You will not be able to handle it if you awaken my beast." Black panther said in a deep magnetic voice. The woman was leaning on his chest and his hands was on her waist preparing her for a lift.

The woman’s smile froze for a second then it broadened into a grin. After the lift was done she said in a flirtatious tone, "Haven’t I tamed it before, My King?"

"Huh? You gor the wrong man. The King is eating with his new bride." Black panther said indifferently.

The woman frowned. Did she made a mistake? But the voice was King Ralden’s. His body build and height was similar to him. She looked at the specially designed couch for the groom and the bride. Indeed King Ralden was beside his bride.

"You dance pretty well, Amaya." Marx whispered into her ear when Amaya was leaning agaist his chest, the palm of his right hand resting on her stomach while Amaya’s arm was bent and her palm was touching the left side of his exposed cheek.

It was an intimate pose. Marx’s heart was beating loudly as he lifted Amaya. He twirled three times before releasing her and concluded their dance.

"You dances like my instructor. We haven’t practiced together but how come our movements are well coordinated? Don’t tell me it was you?" Amaya was panting heavily. She narrowed her eyes and looked at Marx meaningfully.

"It can’t be you, right?"
