Raised From The Wild-Chapter 132: Dark Secrets of Mount Ibra
When the light first appeared in the eastern sky and before the sun rose, the previously killed animals started exploding in a synchronized manner. The explosion caused a disturbance in the area. The winged animals resting on the trees flew away in a hurry.
Flesh and blood splattered everywhere and despite the distance, the new campsite was still not spared from a rain shower of flesh and blood. Amaya took a bottle of body wash made from natural ingredients and dived into the river to get rid of the disgusting carcasses and blood that fall on her hair and body. Julienne followed afterward.
The water was very cold. Amaya did not stay long. After washing her hair and rubbing her body and passing the body wash to Julienne, she got out of the water and went into her small tent to change into dry clothes.
When she went out, everyone has already taken their bath and changed into dry clothes.
The east has brightened even more. Amaya could clearly see the horrendous site of last night’s attack. No matter how strong she was, she could not help but retch because of the unsightly scene before her. She was not the only one, even big men like Dave, Enrico, and Ricardo also retched.
When she calmed down Kong together with a few monkeys went down from the tree and communicated with her. They told her that there were ’humans’ like her in the other mountain who caught the animals and kept them locked in a big cave in the mountain. When the animals came out, they even become more ferocious and mad and there were so many of them.
Amaya frowned upon hearing what the monkeys told her. She looked at Marx but decided not to say anything as it might not be safe.
Soon the first helicopter arrived. The clearing was only enough for one helicopter to land. The injured soldiers were carried into the helicopter and the two mountaineers and two soldiers accompanied the injured.
While waiting for the second helicopter to arrive, Dave changed into a white overall, put on a mask and a helmet and started gathering the carcasses. He put them on a plastic which he sealed afterward.

Kong tugged at Amaya’s sleeves. He grinned at her and indicated that he found a mate and she would like to follow him.
Amaya was suspicious. After what happened last night she could not trust the animals on this side of the mountain. Amaya walked toward the lieutenant and asked him if there was a way to determine if a bomb was implanted inside an animal or not.
The Lieutenant took out s scanner from his backpack. "The chips, no matter how small they are will have a trace of metals in them. Let me scan the animal to check."
The soldier approached the monkey who hid behind Kong. He scanned the monkey’s body a few times before announcing that it was clear.
The cargo helicopter went directly to the hospital located inside the premises of the zoo. Khalil was taken to the vet while the rest of the animals were escorted back to their enclosure.
Amaya comforted Tara who was Khalil’s mate. "Don’t worry Tara, Khalil will definitely be fine."
After settling the animals in the zoo, Marx accompanied Amaya back to Asteria palace. They also brought back with them the Lieutenant.
Back at Mount Daya, the moment the roars of the helicopter were no longer heard, several people appeared from behind the trees. They dig a deep big hole and dumped all the carcasses in the hole. They put back all the earth that was dug and covered the place with leaves.
They pumped water from the river and used a pressurized hose to remove the blood that stuck on the barks and branches of the surrounding tree. After they were done cleaning the mess, they headed in the direction of Mount Ibra.
The Emperor flew into a rage when he heard the roars of helicopters. It meant that the group who explored the small mountain was not killed by the explosion.
"You useless piece of trash! Such a simple thing and you cannot do it. How can you let them get away? Imbecile!" The emperor stood and started pacing the room.
The eleven men who were kneeling down dare not make any sound.
"Our operation here is already exposed. Prepare to evacuate and don’t leave any evidence. I’ll be leaving first but I will monitor everything from the submarine."
Marx, Lieutenant Ribay, and Amaya sought the audience of the King. They requested to meet the Minister of Defense and the Generals of the Army, the Navy, and the Airforce.
"Grandpa, something is wrong on that island. Please call them immediately and with utmost secrecy." Amaya pleaded with her Grandfather when he was reluctant to call an emergency meeting. Such kind of meeting could only be held if the country was in danger.
"Your Majesty, allow me to explain..." The Lieutenant explained that the attack made on them was similar to the attacks done by the Anima Rebels in Uropa who used animals as their weapon.
The King was convinced and called the Defense Minister and the Generals.
There was a knock on the door and a royal guard opened it.
"Your Majesty, the eldest son of the Earl of Anishton is looking for Princess Amaya. He is waiting in the tea room."
Amaya excused herself and followed the guard. Marx trailed behind her. He was interested to know why Artemio Anishton wanted to meet with Amaya.
When Amaya entered the room, the middle-aged man was restlessly pacing the room. He stopped when he saw Amaya and bowed slightly to her. Even though he was older, she was still a princess after all.
"Princess, I would not beat around the bush. The reason for my coming here is to beg you to return the island to us. That is our inheritance, a place where we grew up and where we have lots of fond memories. I can buy it back."
