Omega's Rebirth-Chapter 62: Arriving At Eclipse Hunt ()
"Come on in, don’t just stand out there." Luna Colleen encouraged and Neveah nodded slowly.
She could not believe it, that she had actually been able to come here in this lifetime... that she had actually been able to escape her father’s clutches.
Now that she was far away from the torments of the Eclipse Palace, Neveah felt she could finally be able to live...to truly live.
A small genuine smile rested on Neveah’s lips as she headed into the pack house, trailing behind Luna Colleen and Alpha Dane whilst Dechlan headed off to change forms.
They stepped into the pack house and Neveah glanced around the cozy looking hall which lead to multiple hallways leading in different directions.
"Veah, we’ll leave you to Dechlan and Vincent for a moment, we just need to set things in order with the pack." Luna Colleen explained as Alpha Dane patted Neveah’s shoulder and strode down a hallway.
"The elders heard of the rogue attack and my brother and Leen will need to sort a few details out since we have been away for two weeks."
"That hallway leads up to the meeting halls and Dane’s office, the elders are already awaiting them there. It shouldn’t take too long to bring them up to speed on our trip." Dechlan who had shown up out of nowhere explained as Neveah glanced around.
Neveah nodded in understanding as Dechlan began explaining some basic details to her.
"The pack house is home to the Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, head warrior and their families. They each have the upper three floors to themselves.*
"There are also the quarters on the lower two floors assigned to the unmated warriors like myself and Vincent, although we are special exceptions. The pack house has exactly five floors." Dechlan explained.
"Don’t bring me into your conversation." Vincent interrupted, passing a glare to Dechlan before he strode off and disappeared down a hallway.
"Pay him no mind, he’ll come around." Dechlan assured Neveah, believing she was affected by Vincent’s harsh treatment.
"He already has." Neveah replied with a casual shrug, she knew well enough that Vincent’s personality had already begun changing just as it had in the previous lifetime.
He was just someone who was so protective of his family because he knew how loving and accepting they were of people they didn’t even know and he had taken it upon himself to make up for it.
But the moment he realized you meant his loved ones no harm, he would change completely, Neveah had witnessed it once before.
She knew Vincent had already begun regarding her with respect after the battle with the rogues, he just didn’t know how to show it yet and was most likely embarrassed.
"You act nothing like an uptight, self righteous Princess." Dechlan commended before he paused briefly as though just recalling what Neveah had revealed to them.
"Oh..." Dechlan murmured with a wince.
Neveah fixed him with a blank look and he lifted a hand to the back of his neck awkwardly, lowering his gaze apologetically.
"Right, well... the rest of the pack reside in the town and come over frequently to help out around and to meet up with their training schedules and whatever else they have to do." Dechlan finally said after a moment of letting the awkward silence linger.
"So you don’t have to worry about being crowded by new faces anytime soon, the warriors are usually always busy with patrol and guard placements, they only come in at the end of their shift to rest."
"The pack house is not crowded at all, so you won’t be uncomfortable." Dechlan assured.
Neveah’s lips twitched slightly, she found it amusing that Dechlan was already obsessing over her comfort and she had just stepped into the pack house.
"Well, come on. I’ll show you to your quarters." Dechlan said.
Dechlan lead the way to the grand staircase at the side and Neveah trailed after him, ignoring the looks she received from the few pack wolves that moved past.
Dechlan lead the way to the uppermost floor, taking Neveah down the hallway.
"This floor is reserved for the Alpha’s family, it has exactly ten individual quarters. Dane and Leen get the largest, all the way down the hall to the left."
"Two doors down is mine and the door after is Vincent’s quarters, it was on short notice but Leen sent word ahead to have the quarters opposite mine prepared for you."
"It’s the largest after Dane and Leen’s quarters, you know... enough space for...feminity...?" Dechlan asked uncertainly and Neveah sniggered in amusement.
"Yeah, right." Neveah murmured as she followed after Dechlan, 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
Arriving at the door to her quarters, she pushed it open and stepped in, raising a brow at the decor.
The blend of grays and whites were the exact replica of Neveah’s room back at the Eclipse Palace and Neveah guessed Luna Colleen had taken note of it that one time she had visited her with Alpha Dane.
"Well, Leen wasn’t certain what you would prefer...so well, I did suggest for her to go with lighter colors... I heard those are feminine preferences but..." Dechlan trailed off and Neveah scoffed.
"I’m seventeen Dechlan, not five...lighter colors?" Neveah asked in a blank tone.
"Right... you’re more a warrior than you are a female, that much is for certain." Dechlan said with a smirk.
Neveah stepped into the room, glancing around. Although it bothered her that it had such a striking resemblance to her room in the Eclipse Palace when she would rather never be reminded of the Eclipse Palace,
However Neveah could see the Eclipse Hunt wolves and especially Luna Colleen had put a lot of effort to ensure her comfort.
The room was wide, almost twice the size of her room in the Eclipse Palace and she had been a Princess.
Neveah shook her head slightly, she was grateful for the sparse decoration, the room was left plain and bare with only the necessities, just the way Neveah preferred.
She had always detested extreme decorations and blinding colors.
"I shall have to take a shower and get changed, you should do the same and then get some rest. I will bring your meal to you and then you may come down for dinner when you are settled." Dechlan said,
"On a lighter note, welcome to Eclipse Hunt Princess, I should hope you tarry with us for a long time." Dechlan said with a small smile as he took his leave.
Left to her thoughts, Neveah glanced around the room once again.
"The Creator has never shown me his mercy, this has always been my lot. Do I dare hope for more?" Neveah murmured to herself, her heart clenching with unease.

~A Week Later
Neveah smiled slightly as Alpha Dane stared in awe at the now pronounced bulge on Luna Colleen’s stomach.
It had taken a week to fully neutralize the Moon Whisper this time and Neveah had requested it be done in the privacy of the family and the news was to be kept from the pack.
Neveah did not want the neutralizing process to be interrupted and it had been done behind closed doors, no one other than those Neveah was certain were trustworthy were allowed to approach.
"You mean... we’re having three pups?!" Alpha Dane exclaimed in shock at the revelation Neveah had just made.
"I did not take notice at first since the third was most affected by the poison, but I have confirmed it repeatedly. There are indeed three distinct heartbeats, two girls as earlier stated... and a male heir." Neveah confirmed.
Although this was the second time she was making this same revelation, the warmth in her heart at just watching the excitement of the Eclipse Hunt wolves was even greater.
The Eclipse Hunt wolves were deserving of this happiness and Neveah was intent to do whatever she could to protect it.
Neveah gave them the time needed to revel in the joyous news, sitting on the couch in the Alpha’s room while Alpha Dane twirled Luna Colleen about.
The fact that Alpha Dane’s reaction was exact to his reaction from the previous lifetime stirred a melancholic feeling in Neveah’s heart, bringing to her remembrance that this was still the same life...
Coming this far away from the Eclipse Fang, she could not help but wonder, had her fate changed? What did the future hold for her?
"Veah... I do not know how to thank you." Alpha Dane said in a shaky tone but Neveah shook her head.
"Do not thank me yet. I intend to make things difficult for everyone from here on out. If you are willing to entrust Leen to me, that is." Neveah said in a blank tone.
Alpha Dane and Luna Colleen exchanged looks before they turned their gaze back to Neveah.
"We will do whatever you say, Veah." Luna Colleen assured without hesitation.
"Very well, for the following five months till Leen’s pups are born... she will neither eat, drink nor touch anything not personally approved by me."
"From her beddings, nourishment... I will take care of everything personally. Whoever intended to harm Leen is still out here... and I intend to find him." Neveah said in a serious tone.
