Chapter 56: Chapter 56: Going to the Hotel

The thought had barely formed in his mind before he snuffed it out.

That was impossible, he knew Hannah Winter, and she was definitely not that kind of person.

George River snapped back to reality, his eyes red, his gaze fixed hard on the two people leaving. His fists clenched and released again and again, two or three times, but he couldn’t make a move.

He seemed to have been frozen in place.

He could only watch, watch from afar.

Thud———

Someone bumped into him.

George River frowned, the man wore a hat, gripping his cellphone. Seeing that George was looking at him, he pulled down his hat and lowered his gaze.

In a deliberately muffled voice, he said, "Sorry, I’m in a hurry."

With that, Ethan Evans immediately headed in the direction where Hannah had left in quick steps.

He had been spying outside their room for most of the day, and now he had finally gotten photos of Hannah Winter, the stinking woman messing around with another man.

He always said that such a woman, despite her beautiful face, puts up a high and noble façade but inside, she’s needier for men than anyone else.

He wondered why she had rejected him, turns out she was clinging onto a newly found sugar daddy.

Disgusting thing!

This time he was going to make Hannah Winter fall from grace, so much so that she would be begging him for mercy!

At the dinner party, Arnold Simmons didn’t drink, tonight it was his turn to be the designated driver for others.

In the front passenger seat, Hannah had just buckled up her seat belt, then a voice came from the man next to her asking.

"Heading back to school?"

Hannah checked her phone, it was already 1:45 am. "The school is closed at this hour, let’s go to a hotel," she said.

As soon as the girl finished speaking, she turned and winked at the man beside her. She didn’t find the implied hint in her words to be too forward.

There were a few people at the party who enjoyed a drink for their merriment, Arnold Simmons didn’t drink, and neither did Hannah.

But for some reason, the smell of alcohol seemed to follow them around, filling the entire space. It wasn’t too strong, yet it was intoxicating.

The girl’s eyes seemed foggy, dreamy, and distant as if they were shrouded in clouds. Clear yet in front of them, coming and going, it was elusive.

Hannah leaned her head on the man beside her, her cheeks were tinted with a rouge-like flare.

She reached out her hand, her delicate hand lightly rested on the man’s shoulder. Her smile was as beautiful as blooming flowers scattered across the hills.

It was all happening under the cover of the night, which added a touch of seductiveness.

"Mr. Simmons, tell me the truth, can I garner countless fans just with my face in the talent show?" she asked.

Her voice was sweet and enchanting, full of deliberate tease, yet completely free of worldliness, pure and beautiful.

The dim light blurred the man’s gradually deepening gaze, revealing a dangerous atmosphere.

His eyes were withdrawn, difficult to read.

He made no attempt to hide it, yet the young girl chose to ignore it.

The man’s hand on the steering wheel tightened, relaxed, and then rhythmically drummed.

Hannah did not wait for Arnold Simmons’ reply, instead, she was met with his foot on the accelerator.

She was pushed back by the inertia, her carefully calculated perfect pose was instantly disrupted.

The girl was so upset that she was about to vent her frustration when a low voice tinged with a touch of hoarseness came from the man beside her, "Perhaps."

That face, that kind of beauty, if it were just superficial it would be vulgar, but she was born to charm, yet so pure. If she was born in ancient times, she should have been privately treasured by the emperor, and given the title of enchanting concubines by later generations.

Who wouldn’t want her?
