Chapter 1750: Chapter 1750: Arnold Simmons Extra (116)

But what he was thinking about was something else.

...

On the first day of enrollment at A University, Hannah’s photo was posted on the school forum.

It was a very blurry candid shot.

The photo showed Hannah asking an upperclassman at the school gate for directions, her face bare of makeup, yet you could still see her striking and refined features.

Even if someone said she was the campus belle of the neighboring Film Academy, people would believe it.

——Is she really a freshman at our school? Are we sure she isn’t a Film Academy student who took a wrong turn?

——The Film Academy is several blocks away from us. How could she end up at A University by mistake?

——Maybe she came here to deliver something to her boyfriend?

——What boyfriend? She’s clearly alone in the photo!

——Alright, alright, stop speculating. I did some digging for you all—word is, this freshman is a direct admission student at A University, winner of a national competition. She probably doesn’t have a boyfriend.

——No boyfriend? Well, then I’m making my move!

A University’s dorms are four-person rooms, and Hannah was assigned to Room 308.

Coincidentally, one of the girls in the dorm was also from Haicheng High School’s Class 1-3, which happened to be right next to Hannah’s Class 1-2.

As Hannah struggled to recall, the girl recognized her first and said, "Don’t you remember? During the pep rally, I stood right in front of you, leading the chants!"

"I’m Amy Taylor, the class president of Class 1-3."

Hannah seemed to have a faint recollection, "You mean the one shouting ’Class 1-3, unbeatable! Challenge us if you dare!’ right?"

Who hasn’t had their share of a cringey phase?

Amy was a natural social butterfly. "That slogan was thought up by boys in our class. It didn’t feel weird at the time, but now if I were to shout it again, I’d feel pretty embarrassed."

The other two girls in the dorm arrived later, but they both had easygoing personalities.

The four of them agreed to head out together for dinner.

Logically speaking, the cafeteria shouldn’t have been crowded at that hour, yet somehow every table nearby them was filled with people.

Hannah didn’t overthink it and simply started eating, but after a few bites of food, she received a message from Arnold Simmons.

He asked her how things were going.

Though the two were at the same university, they had chosen different majors.

Hannah pondered for a moment before replying to Arnold.

She told him that everything was great on her end, that her dormmates were easy to get along with, and that the food in the school cafeteria tasted pretty good.

She sent her messages one by one, and Arnold read each one attentively before carefully crafting responses.

Later that night, back at the dorm, Amy visited the school forum and found out why their meal earlier was such a spectacle.

"Hannah, did you know you’re all over the forum right now?"

Amy poked her head out from the top bunk as the other two girls set down their phones, eager for gossip.

Hannah was sitting at her desk reading and only raised her head after hearing Amy speak, "No, I didn’t."

Amy handed her phone to Hannah.

Displayed on the screen was the photo of Hannah at the school gate, accompanied by a flood of comments below.

The words that appeared most frequently were "campus belle" and "boyfriend."

The other two girls also logged into the forum, diving in to join the fun.

"Whoa, it’s true! Hannah, your post already has almost a few hundred comments."

"Hannah, I even saw boys saying they’re planning to bring you breakfast tomorrow. Is that real?"

"So many people are asking if you have a boyfriend," Amy scrolled further down and suddenly looked excited. "Hannah, do you have a boyfriend?"

All three girls turned to look at her.

Hannah nodded, "I do."

Amy immediately turned into a curious gossip, "Who is it? Is he from our university?"
