No Substitutes for the Bigshots' Dream Girl Anymore!-Chapter 1568: Change a Seat
The voice too, "Uncle, I’m underage, he is my brother."
The man looked towards Wayne Lane behind her.
Wayne Lane glanced at the top of Hannah’s head, and after a moment, he nodded, "Siblings."
The staff member understood and indicated seats for them.
Since it was a training experience, the academy had rules that they shouldn’t be too ostentatious while acting outside, everything had to be solved by themselves, so the spaceship they were taking today was just the most ordinary one.
The space on the spaceship wasn’t very big, the seats were close together, and even the aisle was just a narrow strip.
Hannah and Wayne Lane’s seats were just separated by an aisle. Next to her sat a young girl, who seemed quite young, and next to Wayne Lane was a family.
The family that Hannah had been watching for a long time.
The spaceship was noisy, especially the children of that family, around the age of four or five, who kept clamoring to see the stars.
The parents were too lazy to manage, at most they just pulled them to prevent running around.
A nearby passenger frowned in discontent but didn’t say anything.
The child quieted down a bit only after the spaceship took off.
The girl sitting beside Hannah didn’t know when she had woken up, first seeing Hannah, then noticing Wayne Lane across the aisle.
The girl’s eyes brightened, seeming eager to try.
Hannah had already felt her gaze shifting past her and landing on Wayne Lane several times.
But Wayne Lane always kept his gaze straight ahead; even his back against the chair was straight, standing out amidst the messy environment.
"Um..."
The girl hesitated before speaking, addressing Hannah.
Hannah then turned her head to look at her, "What’s up?"
Busy watching the handsome guy opposite, the girl only then noticed Hannah’s appearance.
Black hair, snow-white skin, delicate and bright features with a hint of juvenile freshness, a true beauty.
But even so, the girl was only stunned for a moment before quickly getting back to the matter at hand, "Excuse me, can I exchange seats with you?"
The girl’s seat was by the window, allowing a view of the scenery outside, considered a sought-after position on the spaceship.
But Hannah wasn’t interested in looking at the scenery, she was more willing to do someone a favor.
So she stood up, "Sure."
The girl was very pleased and thanked her, then she and Hannah switched seats.
Almost as soon as Hannah stood up, Wayne Lane noticed. Seeing her exchange seats with the girl, he didn’t say anything, only frowning when he felt the girl’s gaze on him.
Throughout the journey, the overly outgoing and enthusiastic girl tried to strike up conversation with Wayne Lane countless times. Despite his consistent coldness, her enthusiasm never waned.
Sometimes, Hannah felt Wayne Lane’s gaze on her, but she didn’t react.
At most, the corners of her mouth curved up a little.
She really was just trying to do a kindness.
As the time to disembark approached, the girl still hadn’t given up on her last chance to talk to Wayne Lane, almost asking every possible question.
Even the child sitting next door who had been making noise couldn’t help but look over.
The spaceship stabilized, and the crew had started moving towards disembarking.
"It’s just a contact information, it won’t do any harm, just give me one," begged the girl with her hands as if in prayer, her eyes nearly welling with tears.
But Wayne Lane remained coolly polite as he declined, "Sorry, we need to get off now."
"We?" The girl was slow on the uptake.
Hannah also stood up, "Excuse me, please let me pass."
