Losing just a few would already hurt him deeply.

"Then make your arrow frogs spit out my insects, or they might fight back as they’re about to die!" Shino said to his father.

"Spit!"

Shibi quickly controlled his arrow frogs, forcing them to expel the giant insects.

Even then, he remained deeply uneasy; Shino’s insects were terrifying.

Once all the giant insects were out, he finally, with lingering dread, returned the arrow frogs to their insect jar.

Where had Shino found such insects? They were horrifying.

"Won’t your insects die?" After making sure the arrow frogs were safe, he looked at Shino seriously.

These insects were a perfect weapon.

"You first promise me you’ll side with the Uchiha, then I’ll tell you!" Shino said, still unwavering in his demand.

Side with the Uchiha?

Shibi frowned as he looked at his son’s determination.

He didn’t want to take sides, but his son seemed possessed, siding with Uchiha. He didn’t even know what Genya had said to brainwash him.

He shook his head decisively. "I haven’t lost yet!"

As he spoke, he commanded the charging insects to attack.

Shino controlled his Giant Devourer Insects to block them while observing their movements. He used Iron Beetles and ordinary insects to shield himself.

As the attack charged, the Iron Beetles and normal insects immediately began to bite and devour the approaching insects.

"This..." Shibi watched it all, feeling a tightening in his chest.

Was he going to lose?

If nothing unexpected happened, his charging insects wouldn’t break through Shino’s defense and would likely be devoured instead.

Meanwhile, Shino’s special insects hovered in the air, keeping an eye on him. As soon as Shino issued an order, they would strike.

"But before making any decision, you have to think carefully. Right now, you represent the Aburame clan, not just yourself!"

"I know!" Aburame Shino nodded, then continued. "Siding with the Uchiha is the best choice for the Aburame clan!"
