My Young Husband, The Assasin-Chapter 46: Renji and Tetsuya’s Trap (2)
Chapter 46 - Renji and Tetsuya's Trap (2)
Renji put on his signature stoic expression as Yuna approached with her two friends, who were dressed as female superheroes. Their costumes were so tight that they accentuated certain private areas, whether natural or enhanced by silicone injections. Honestly, Renji felt disgusted and uncomfortable looking at them. It was a different story regarding Aira, though—hers were natural, not the result of injections, as Renji had personally experienced and could vouch for their authenticity. He could guarantee they were 100% real.
Yuna deliberately approached Renji, holding a tall crystal glass of white wine.
"Good evening, Renji-san," Yuna's two friends greeted simultaneously, flashing flirtatious smiles.
"Good evening. I hope you enjoy the costume party we've organized," Renji replied, trying to be polite as the event's host. Deep down, he was seething with anger, wanting to eliminate Yuna immediately.
"Of course, we're honored and thrilled to be invited," the two friends replied enthusiastically.
"Ahem..." Yuna cleared her throat loudly, signaling her friends to leave.
The two girls, who had always followed Yuna around like stamps—not out of genuine friendship but because Yuna came from a wealthy family and being friends with her was advantageous—quickly excused themselves from Renji's presence. Now, only Yuna and Renji remained. Although many people around them tried to approach, they couldn't, not only because Renji disliked being approached by strangers but because Yuna had forbidden all the students at her school from getting close to her fiancé-to-be unless they wanted something terrible to happen.
"Renji-kun," Yuna greeted warmly, accompanied by a flirtatious smile. Yuna's attack had begun.
Renji's eyes narrowed sharply. "Just because you're my fiancée-to-be doesn't mean we're close or equals," he said coldly, disliking Yuna's use of a familiar nickname.
Yuna forced a stiff smile, trying to act normal and hide her surprise. "I'm sorry, and as an apology, please allow me to offer you this drink," Yuna said, handing over the white wine as an apology.
Renji pushed Yuna's hand away. "Sorry, I don't drink," he refused, declining the drink Yuna offered. Since getting married, Renji had vowed not to consume any alcoholic beverage or smoke.
"Just a little, at least appreciate me as your fiancée-to-be," Yuna persisted, still trying to force the issue.
"What's this?" Renji asked, glancing at Yuna's glass.
"White wine," she replied.
"Where did you pick that up? We never gave you wine," Renji spoke, a glimmer of suspicion crossing his eyes.
Yuna looked self-conscious, attempting to clarify from where the drink had originated. "I-it's."
"Explain, please," Renji asked, holding Yuna down.
Yuna's body trembled in fear at Renji's glare. Her tongue was stuck, and her breath was trapped in her throat, struggling to breathe under the weight of Renji's aura.
Cold sweat began to pour down her forehead. Renji truly frightened her, his gaze filled with a murderous aura.
A soft tap on Renji's right shoulder and a man's voice broke the tension. "Don't be so cold, Renji," the man advised.
"It's you, Tetsuya," Renji said lazily.
Tetsuya flashed a smile at Yuna, trying to lighten the mood, but from Yuna's perspective, Tetsuya's smile was even more terrifying than Renji's—it was more of a smirk than a genuine smile.
"G-good evening, Young Master Tetsuya," Yuna greeted as politely as possible, trying to hide her nervousness and overwhelming fear.
"Don't be so tense; I don't bite. I like cutting people with swords," Tetsuya whispered, still maintaining his smile. Yuna's body stiffened in fear. Tetsuya was even more terrifying than Renji.
Tetsuya reached for the white wine in Yuna's hand. "As your fiancé-to-be, you should accept his kind gesture," he said with a meaningful smile, handing the glass to Renji.
Tetsuya's eyebrows moved up and down as if giving a signal, and Renji happily accepted the drink that Yuna had brought.
Renji smiled cynically, his dark eyes coldly glaring at Yuna. "Alright, but how about we make a toast together?" Renji suggested, glancing at Tetsuya.
"Great idea," Tetsuya replied as though supporting Renji and helping Yuna with her plan.
"Waiter!" Tetsuya called, waving his hand at the waiter carrying a tray of drinks.
"Here's your drink, Sir."
Tetsuya picked up a Cherry Lime Tequila Cocktail for Yuna.
"Thank you, Young Master Tetsuya," Yuna received it happily.
Tetsuya smiled briefly before raising his bottle of mineral water high. "Let's make a toast."
"Why are you drinking mineral water, Tetsuya?" Renji asked, confused, staring at the bottle in Tetsuya's hand.
"The doctor forbade me from drinking wine or anything alcoholic," Tetsuya answered, slightly annoyed because he could only drink water and not wine.
"Alright, then, let's toast," Renji raised his glass high, followed by Yuna.
"Cheers," Yuna smiled happily, thinking her trap had worked. It was only a matter of time before she could strike, and Renji would fall into her grasp.
The sound of the glasses clinking together was heard. Yuna silently kept her eyes on Renji, ensuring he drank all the white wine she had given him. Her hopes were fulfilled as Renji drank his wine to the last drop.
Yuna drank her Cherry Lime Tequila Cocktail to the last sip without hesitation or suspicion.
"Now that we've all made a toast, how about we make the party even more exciting?" Tetsuya flashed a smile at Renji.
"Yuna," Renji called.
"I-I see," Yuna answered nervously and shyly.
"Didn't you sign up for the best costume contest?"
"Yes, that's why I've dressed up as best as I could tonight. How do you think I look?" Yuna asked, shy and full of enthusiasm.
"Beautiful," Tetsuya answered, representing Renji.
"Thank you for the compliment, Young Master Tetsuya, but I'd like to hear what my fiancé thinks about my appearance," Yuna gave Renji a meaningful glance.
"Not bad," Renji replied flatly, showing no interest.
"Is that all?" Yuna asked in a disappointed tone, even though she had tried her best to look perfect.
"What kind of answer were you expecting from me?" Renji asked coldly.
"Enough, Renji. Don't be so cold." Tetsuya tried to mediate. The best costume contest will start soon; you should prepare to participate."
As they were about to walk toward the stage, a waiter accidentally bumped into Yuna, wetting her dress.
"Are you okay, Miss?" A young male waiter tried to help Yuna.
"Do you have eyes or not, huh?" Yuna snapped angrily as her expensive dress got wet.
"I'm sorry, Miss."
"Don't think a simple apology can fix everything. I will report this to the hotel manager and demand that you be fired," she scolded mercilessly, showing her true nature as a young, arrogant, and conceited lady.
"Enough, don't be so cruel. Besides, he didn't do it on purpose," Renji said, frustrated with Yuna's arrogant behavior.
"Don't defend him. He should be given a strict warning to avoid acting carelessly while working."
"Do you know who I am, Miss Yuna Kenzaki?" Renji stared intensely at Yuna, then took a sip from his glass.
"Everyone in this world makes mistakes, and there's nothing wrong with forgiving them, but if that person repeats the same mistake," Renji left his sentence hanging as he glared threateningly at the waiter as if defending Yuna in front of the public.
"Even if 1,000 apologies are offered while bowing at their feet, I will repay their actions a thousand times over until they can never forget it for the rest of their life," Renji added, hissing.
Yuna's body stiffened momentarily as she saw Renji's intimidating figure, feeling as though all the words he had spoken earlier were directed at her and no one else. Her eyes glistened with unshed tears, hoping for Renji's attention and compassion.
"Did you bring a change of clothes?" Renji asked, sounding genuinely concerned.
Yuna's heart fluttered upon hearing Renji's apparent worry for her. "No."
"Since you're a guest and my fiancée-to-be, I can't let you stay dressed like this," Renji said, pulling Yuna by the hand out of the ballroom.
Renji's action stirred the people in the ballroom, especially the girls, who screamed in sadness and heartbreak, watching their beloved prince leave with the "witch." They were convinced Renji had fallen under some evil spell cast by that snake-like woman, forcing him to obey and act kindly.
Yuna smiled triumphantly, feeling proud of Renji's behavior as if it proved they had a special relationship.
Tetsuya, standing beside Renji, made no move to stop him. Instead, he smiled contentedly, enjoying half his mineral water.
"Wait for my big gift, Jiisan," Tetsuya muttered coldly.

Renji took Yuna to a room to change clothes, assisted by drama club members. Whether by coincidence or prearrangement, Yuna now wore the costume of a shrine maiden. However, after switching, Yuna suddenly complained of dizziness and discomfort, asking Renji if she could rest in one of the hotel rooms she had rented for the night.
Feeling responsible as the event organizer, Renji escorted Yuna to the rented room. Renji's head suddenly throbbed with pain. "Ah~" he groaned.
Yuna smiled inwardly but pretended to be shocked and panicked, offering help. "What's wrong?" she asked, feigning concern.
Renji's gaze turned lustful as he stared at Yuna. "You..." he murmured.
The effects of the aphrodisiac were kicking in, and it was time to execute her plan. "Do you think I'm beautiful, Young Master?" Yuna teased. Renji's eyes were glassy but radiated seething passion.
"Yes," Renji gasped, trying to suppress the burning craving inside him.
Yuna's hand wandered to Renji's shoulder, teasing him with a teasing smile. "Do you desire me, Renji-kun?" she purred low and seductively.
"Yes, surrender yourself to me."
In one of the hotel rooms, two humans were enveloped in passion, warming, touching, and kissing each other. Twenty minutes earlier, upon entering the hotel room, Renji's head felt heavy, his vision blurred, and his entire body burned as if a fire raged within him.
"It's hot! So hot!" he groaned, tearing off his clothes one by one until he was utterly exposed.
Without hesitation, he pounced on the figure lying on the bed, driven by blind desire. He was utterly consumed by lust, no longer caring about anything except satisfying the urges within him. They became one, sharing warmth and passion, reaching the peak of ecstasy together. Tonight would be a long, passionate night. Moans of pleasure echoed loudly.
"Ah~" A long groan escaped his swollen lips as his body was overwhelmed, and warmth flooded his abdomen. The seed had been planted, now only waiting to grow and flourish into new life.

Camera flashes continuously captured Yuna's body, wrapped in a plain white blanket. Around her neck, numerous marks of possession were visible, the handiwork of the man lying asleep beside her.
Dozens of reporters filled hotel room 306 after an unidentified individual contacted them. Thanks to that person, they now had a sensational news story.
Yuna's face turned pale as she stared in horror at the man lying beside her, who was smiling sweetly and completely naked. But Yuna's shock didn't end there—her parents were equally stunned, and her mother even fainted.
A hard slap landed on Yuna's cheek from her furious father, who was deeply ashamed of her actions.
"I can explain all of this, Father," Yuna whispered in her defense.
Meanwhile, the man who had been Yuna's bed partner remained calm, unbothered by the reporters' cameras flashing in his face. Tomorrow, news about him would flood every magazine.
Tetsuya and Renji clinked their glasses, celebrating their victory and the misfortune that had befallen Yuna and the Kenzaki family, who now had to bear the immense shame caused by Yuna's actions.

No matter how well-prepared, Renji avoided the trap set by the Kenzaki family, who even turned the situation around. Now that one problem was resolved, there was still another matter Renji had to deal with: Hinami's engagement next week. Although Aira and Hinami didn't share the same mother, they had the same father, making them family-bound by blood.
"What's your next plan, Renji?" Tetsuya asked, already aware of Hinami's engagement to Hiroshi.
"I'll have someone help me with this," Renji replied, referring to his plan.
Tetsuya arched his brow in confusion. "Who?" he asked.

"You already know them," Renji answered cryptically, which only fueled Tetsuya's interest.
"You never fail to surprise Renji," Tetsuya grumbled, shaking his head.
Fujita's high-end car sped off from the hotel complex. The costume party had ended nearly two hours ago, and the ballroom was now empty and dark. However, the real party was happening elsewhere, and the unfolding events promised to be even more sensational.

The Ishikawa residence
Kaito roughly threw down the morning newspaper, its front page featuring the scandalous news of Yuna Kenzaki being caught in a luxury hotel with a man last night. The young couple, reportedly drunk on passion, were found sleeping together during a raid by reporters accompanied by Yuna's parents. Several television stations had received information that Renji Ishikawa was at the hotel with a woman.
Of course, such information was too valuable to pass up and could make for a huge news story.
But in reality, it wasn't Renji Ishikawa caught in the act—it was the niece of Mito Kenzaki, the wife of a pharmaceutical tycoon, who was seen in the hotel with a man identified only by the initial "E," an employee of the hotel.
The trap Kaito had meticulously prepared was effortlessly turned around by Renji, even humiliating the Kenzaki family in public and forcing them to cancel the agreed-upon engagement.
"Calm down, sir."
"Why was Yuna with someone else and not Renji? I sent people to monitor the situation, but Renji didn't fall into the trap."
"Young Master Renji is brilliant and skilled at making decisions and reading the situation around him."
"Renji's analytical skills are remarkable, but there's no way he could have known that the drink given to him was laced with a high dose of aphrodisiac. That drug has no smell, taste, or color."
"Drink your tea while it's still warm."
"Could there be a spy here?"
Ryoji smiled, hiding his inner shock, afraid Kaito might suspect him. After all, one of Kaito's skills was reading people's facial expressions. Ryoji's hands busily tidied up the tea-making tools, placing them into a medium-sized wooden box.
His calm face stared at Kaito, where frustration and anger were visible on the old man's face. But it did not diminish the middle-aged man's charm, who looked to be in his mid-50s, with hardly a wrinkle on his face. All that resulted from facial masks and creams developed by Ryoji, an expert in ancient medicine and skilled poison brewer. Unknown to Kaito, Ryoji had a sinister and significant secret that no one had ever found out.
Ryoji maintained his smile, trying to stay calm and not panicked. "Who would dare betray you when there are surveillance cameras in every corner of this house, guards on duty at all times, and no one can come or go freely from the Ishikawa residence?" Ryoji spoke in a calm tone.
Kaito's eyes narrowed suspiciously at Ryoji, as only a few people knew of the plans against Renji, and Ryoji was one of them.
Understanding Kaito's gaze, Ryoji's smile grew wider. "If you suspect me, that's fine. But please explain how I could inform outsiders when I am always near you and cannot leave this house without your permission." Ryoji clarified, still wearing his calm expression.
Kaito exhaled deeply, knowing that Ryoji's statement was correct. If this loyal person had been a spy, he would have been sure. It was as though Haruto had been wrong to think that Ryoji was a spy. But this did not stop Kaito from making desperate efforts to figure out who dared to betray him. If he caught them, they would face a harsh punishment—death, something a traitor deserved.
"Can you ask the servant to prepare warm water? I want to soak and relax my body and mind."
"Understood, Sir." Ryoji left Kaito's private room, carrying a medium-sized box containing tea-making tools.
Ryoji's next destination was the kitchen. In addition to placing the tea-making equipment, he asked the servants to prepare warm water in the Ofuro, as Kaito wanted to bathe.
Once the warm water was ready, Kaito went to soak alone, not wanting anyone to accompany or disturb him. He wanted to enjoy the tranquility of nature, hoping to calm his heart and mind. After the bath, a brilliant idea would come to him.
"Should I use a cruel method to separate them?" Kaito murmured as he submerged himself in the warm water.
