My Vampire Wives Want My Blood!-Chapter 86- Virgo’s Belief (Part 2)
Chapter 86- Virgo’s Belief (Part 2)
The moment the shadow started melting and seeping through the ice, Virgo’s alert eyes quickly shot back. He sensed something behind him that moved. But the moment his eyes turned to the side, all he saw was a black spike, merely an inch away from his eye.
He didn’t blink, and his body moved on its own, tilting back at an unnatural degree as the spike barely passed him, not touching his eye.
The spike planted into the ice as Virgo rose. At the same time, he saw several shadow silhouettes form out of thin air and attack him from every angle. They all held black swords that seemed to form out of their own bodies.
’Five.’ His eyes scanned the area as he moved his hand, forming several ice walls all around him.
*BANG*
The sword was planted into the ice. Then, Virgo moved his hand again and the wall suddenly protruded out, slamming into the shadow as they dispersed and turned into liquid. His attack had failed and didn’t do much damage.
The shadows then accumulated again as they attacked again, their numbers had doubled. Virgo realized that he wasn’t really fighting one individual, but rather clones or summons coming from one person.
So, instead of confronting them, he turned around and dashed away as he looked over his shoulder, dodging the spikes being launched at him from every angle.
They surrounded him rapidly, moving in the shadows as they attacked him. However, Virgo didn’t seem that disturbed by it as he dodged everything.
*BANG*
Several silhouettes emerged from the trees around him as they attacked him. They made sure to target all his blind spots to make sure he doesn’t react fast enough. Except, Virgo didn’t need to.
The ice beneath his feet rose like spikes from the ground and attacked the shadows, stabbing in the stomach without mercy. It was like that ice had a mind of its own and made sure to protect its master.
Then, Virgo turned around and stomped the ground, sending a shockwave of ice in every direction. Large spikes exploded everywhere, destroying everything in the area. The trees were blasted into pieces and thrown everywhere, and the grass was swept away as if it were pulled by a strong wind.
It was chaos, and everything was completely wrecked within seconds. Then, it all went silent.
The entire forest was submerged in quiet again, as if nothing happened. Virgo stood in the middle of this chaos, simply staring around as cold steam rose from the ground.
The temperature was freezing. But, for him, that was the most comfortable environment he could be in. That was his domain, and he thrives in it. The colder it is, the better it is for him.
Looking around him, he didn’t notice any actual shadows attacking him anymore. However, he knew better not to believe that it was over.
He hadn’t killed the main body yet, so he knew that it was out there somewhere, watching him and waiting. Or so he thought...
"Your ice reminds me of someone."
"...!!!"
Virgo instantly turned around and disappeared, appearing a good distance away from the voice. Someone had just spoken to him next to his ear without him noticing that presence first. That was extremely rare.
"Ooh, quite the fast reaction." The voice said as Virgo finally saw someone emerge from thin air. It was a man completely covered in black liquid.
Virgo immediately realized who it was. It fitted the description of the person he was looking for. The vampire that attacked Fiona. Immediately, his wariness increased. This was no joke and he could tell.
"Hmmm, it is quite familiar indeed." The man said as he looked around him at the deserted place. "Are you her son, perhaps? Or someone related to her?"
The moment he mentioned ’her’, Virgo’s eyes squinted subtly. However, he didn’t show much of a reaction.
"Your silence tells me that I’m right on the money." The man said. "Hm, my condolences, after all. Losing her must’ve been so brutal."
"..."
"You’re quite the silent boy." The man said calmly. "Well, I wasn’t expecting anything. Did your father send you to look for me? He must be so angry that I attacked his dear daughter, isn’t he?"
"..."
"But, sending you, of all people, out here? Does he not care about your life? Isn’t your life precious enough for him?"
Each word was laced with malicious intent, even though it sounded very calm and peaceful. One would be outraged hearing those venomous words being spoken without a care in the world.
However, Virgo didn’t even twitch an eyebrow. Nobody knew what was going through his head.
"Eeeeeh, you are too quiet for my taste. I won’t hurt you. You can just leave and tell him that I won’t be leaving any time soon, and he can come give me a visit if he wants. In person, that is."
Then, the man turned around to leave.
"Hm?" 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
However, he suddenly saw an ice wall form in front of him. He stared at it for a second before he turned around and smiled at Virgo.
"You... are not... going anywhere..." Virgo parted his lips as he spoke in icy, cold tone. His words were threatening and dangerous, filled with bloodlust.
"Are you sure about this, kid? You are not ready for this." The man said.
However, the boy ignored him as he put his sword forward, and an ice aura formed around its blade. It was clear what his intentions were. This was not going to end peacefully.
A fight was inevitable and for some reason... The man seemed quite annoyed about it.
"Well, suit yourself. Don’t blame me for what’s about to happen."

"Mmmm..." Elio rubbed his eyes as he slowly woke up in bed. The sound of birds chirping filled his ears, and the sun peeked through the window, announcing the start of a new day.
Leaving the bed, Elio walked out of his room, ready to start his day. Except that the moment he walked out, he was met with a beautiful face.
It was Fiona... casually walking past him with a cup of coffee in her hand. The two stared at each other blankly.
