My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!-Chapter 254: Impressive
"How do you assemble this?" Melody Thorne looked distressed, staring at the fish with its wires inside, realizing she’s not a mechanic.
Timmy was still angry, turning his head to the side in a huff; the first gift he gave Melody had been stomped flat.
Angry, very angry.
While Melody was worriedly holding the mechanical fish, two strong arms encircled her from behind, taking the broken mechanical fish and methodically fixing the disordered circuits inside.
What should have required tools to fix was restored by his hands.
"That can’t be fixed," Timmy snorted coldly, turning back,
but it was Jared Quinn’s first time helping him fix something, so he couldn’t resist sneaking a couple of glances. Before, if anything broke, he would let Jared fix it himself or simply throw money at him to buy a new one.
Very quickly, the broken circuit was reconnected, and the fish’s fins could move,
wherever those big hands went, everything was repaired one by one.
"Done," Jared placed the repaired fish on the table, taking only five minutes.
When he lifted his eyes, he noticed that his little wife and son were looking at him with eyes glowing brighter than when he conquered the world.
Timmy was the first to react, feigning anger by turning his head away again; he would never admit that Jared Quinn finally had a little presence in his mind.
"Timmy, look, it’s back to its original state," Melody said excitedly, her sparking eyes like stars, something Jared hadn’t seen in a long time.
But Melody’s next words made him question life.
"Timmy, look how amazing you are, you made it so beautifully, I really like it, thank you Timmy."
Jared Quinn "..."
"Really?" Timmy turned back.
"Yes," Melody nodded, pulling Timmy over to kiss his little cheek, "Timmy is the best."
Jared Quinn "..."
He, the real contributor, was completely overlooked; Melody truly only had eyes for others, never noticing his presence.
"President," Simon Sutton walked in, placing a folder on Jared’s desk.
It was about those things Jared asked him to investigate a few days ago.
President Quinn had previously said he knew where the little wife’s parents were as a pretext to keep her by his side,
now more manpower was added to find them, and there were some leads.
Jared stood up, his gaze sweeping over Timmy. He initially wanted Simon Sutton to send Timmy away to give them some time alone, but since Melody finally wasn’t resisting him, having that family feel, he decided Timmy should go back with them.
Jared opened the document envelope, his brows furrowing deeper as he read...
After dealing with the matter, Melody Thorne automatically went into the garage through the company’s back door, while Jared Quinn left from the front door with Timmy; they were in a hidden marriage, and others couldn’t be suspicious.
In the garage, Melody took out her car keys ready to get in, but suddenly, a pair of big hands snatched the keys away, shoving her into the car as Jared got in the driver’s seat.
"Where’s Timmy?"
"I had Simon take him home," Jared started the car.
Melody Thorne "..."
Instead of driving back to the Quinn Family home, Jared took her somewhere...
