Chapter 252: Chapter 252: Don’t Move

Sheryl Lancaster’s eyes lit up when she heard the words "young master." With Timmy here, she was even more determined to see Jared Quinn.

"Alright, may I go to the restroom on the second floor?" Sheryl feigned a concession.

"Sure." The receptionist didn’t notice anything unusual. Secretary Sue was guarding the office door on the top floor, so the receptionist wasn’t worried about anyone going up.

"Thank you." Sheryl entered the elevator, pressed the button for the second floor, and hit the switch.

The elevator doors opened on the second floor, and she got out, taking the stairs to the top floor.

The entire top floor was under Jared Quinn’s orders: no one was allowed to go up or approach the top floor, leaving plenty of space for Timmy and Melody Thorne.

"Timmy, I’ve come to find you~" Melody Thorne had a blindfold on, carefully moving along the corridor.

"Alright," Timmy looked at Melody Thorne’s approaching figure with some amusement. Despite being grown-up, she still played such childish games with him, but he had a surprise for her.

Timmy cautiously moved behind the iron gate at the stairwell, placing the small glass bottle he was holding onto the ground.

"I’m here, you have to hide well," Melody continued walking forward. She had just heard footsteps; Timmy had run in this direction.

At the stairwell, Sheryl Lancaster was still thinking about how she could meet Timmy after going up without appearing too impulsive, so she could explain herself if asked.

Just as she stepped onto the top floor stairway, she spotted Timmy hiding behind the iron gate. Her face lit up, and she quickly walked up, "Timmy?" 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Timmy turned around upon hearing the voice, and when he saw Sheryl Lancaster, his eyes instantly turned cold, "What are you doing here?"

He disliked this woman the most. He used to hate seeing her when she stayed around his dad.

"Timmy, don’t you recognize me?" Sheryl walked forward, "We’ve met before, I’m your Aunt Sheryl."

"Keep your voice down," Timmy said irritably, "Can you go away first?"

Sheryl’s expression changed; she was actually being disliked this much by such a small child. Yet she had to endure it and try to please him.

"Timmy, what are you doing here?" The more Timmy wanted her to stay away, the more she approached.

"Don’t move, don’t move," Timmy immediately reached out to block her, looking at her in panic.

Sheryl didn’t pay much attention and continued moving forward. Her foot suddenly kicked something, followed by a "crunch," something shattered.

Timmy’s face immediately changed; his small face showed the same fierce coldness as Jared Quinn’s.

"Wh...what happened?" Sheryl was startled by Timmy’s sudden change, and she looked down.

It was a small bathtub, which broke after she accidentally kicked it. Inside was a mechanical fish, imported from abroad, and Timmy had spent two days making it. It had two small wing-like things on its body, was entirely red, and particularly beautiful,

But now it was under Sheryl’s foot.

"It scared me to death," Sheryl patted her chest with one hand. So it was just a fake fish—she thought she’d really stepped on a real fish. Why make it so realistic?

"Timmy, how about Auntie Sheryl buys you another one exactly like this?"

Melody Thorne, upon hearing the sound of something breaking, quickly removed her blindfold, and rushed over to the stairwell to open the iron gate, only to see Timmy standing there with a frosty look on his small face.
