My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!-Chapter 203: Deal
"Get up, did you hear me?" Melody Thorne’s hand guarded her dress, stopping him from moving recklessly.
Jared Quinn’s large hand reached into her dress, feeling her soft, delicate body.
She definitely had feelings for him; he could see that clearly.
"Your phone is ringing, the phone," Melody Thorne struggled to take out his phone, showing a call from Timothy Lockwood.
"I’m not answering," he said. How could he be in the mood to answer Timothy’s call now? His mind was filled with thoughts of conquering her.
Jared Quinn hung up the call and turned off the phone.
"Knock, knock," the car window was tapped several times.
"Hey, hey, are you leaving or not? Don’t block the way," someone shouted.
Jared Quinn looked up, his gaze like a sword, releasing Melody Thorne and rolling down the window. The person outside shivered at his cold stare, nearly frightened to death, and stuttered, "N-n-nothing, y-you two carry on."
"Hurry up," Melody Thorne pulled the jacket over her head, covering her face.
Jared Quinn’s phone rang again; it was a call from Timothy Lockwood.
"Brother Jared, something’s up, you should come over," Timothy said.
"No time," Jared Quinn roughly loosened his tie, opened the window, and lit a cigarette.
Melody Thorne was no different from other women, yet he kept losing control repeatedly.
"It’s about the company contract."
Jared Quinn hung up the call and drove the car quickly, sending Melody Thorne back. "You go to sleep first, I’ll be right back."
"You can come back later," Melody Thorne said as she got out and closed the car door.
Jared Quinn watched her walk away before driving off.
Inside the villa, Timmy was already asleep, and it was almost dawn. Melody Thorne was too tired to keep her eyes open and went upstairs to sleep for a while.
"Buzz, buzz," Melody Thorne’s phone kept ringing, waking her up.
It was an unfamiliar number.
Melody Thorne answered, but it was Ivy’s voice on the other end, "Melody Thorne, let’s make a deal."
At that moment, Ivy was crouching on the floor with a swollen face, beaten by George Adler. He regretted having such a daughter who not only harmed the Adler Family but was also told to get as far away as possible.
She was nothing now, like a rat on the street that everyone wanted to beat. She went to find Jared Quinn, but he only gave her a receipt, trying to dismiss her.
Melody Thorne was wide awake, "You’re nothing now, I guess even your friends don’t want to stand by you, finding you disgraceful. Where do you get the nerve to make a deal with me?"
Ivy wanted to rush into the Quinn Family and kill her upon hearing her voice, but she had a better leverage against her and Jared Quinn. "I know you’ve been looking for your parents, right?"
Melody Thorne sat up, got off the bed, and opened the bedroom window. "Who told you I’ve been looking for them?"
"Melody Thorne, stop pretending. I know you’ve been looking. If you make a deal with me, I can tell you where they are right now. I’ve heard they’re not doing very well."
"How do you know?"
"They’ve been in touch with my father since they left. If you want to know, I can tell you immediately, but I have a demand," Ivy said, covering half her face with a sinister voice.
She had nothing left and could only take a gamble.
"What’s the demand?"
"Melody Thorne, I know you’re not interested in Jared Quinn anymore, and I’m left with nothing, so I can only take a gamble. If you want to know where they are, find a way to get me into Jared Quinn’s bed. I promise, from then on, we’ll keep out of each other’s way."
