Chapter 81: 81. House Gremory Finally Arrives At The Arena.

The moment Aster stepped out of the castle, he noticed that everyone was already waiting for him, Lily included.

She stood towards the front with her hands clasped behind her back and her small tail swishing from side to side as she hurriedly walked forward to meet him.

"Big brother! Big brother!" she called out the moment she saw him and her eyes were already shining like stars as she asked. "We’re going now, right?"

Aster smiled and replied. "Yeah, we are."

He lifted his gaze and noticed Sara hovering above Lily with her hands folded behind her head as she pretended to be resting on a very soft sofa while hovering midair and Aster smiled even more before sending her a wink her way.

Then he glanced toward Cara, who was already standing next to Hallie, and both ladies bowed respectfully with smiles on their faces.

Aster also glanced toward Captain Ripper and his fellow muscle brothers who tried desperately not to cry out in front of everyone else, but they were certainly proud of how Aster had been carrying out his training these past few weeks and now, they couldn’t wait to see him use all that training during the competition, and they could only wish him good luck as they all shared a nod of recognition to the young prince who had certainly grown into a man in front of them.

Vivian released his hands and stepped forward while saying. "Alright dear, let’s go."

And the two stepped into the carriage with Lily and Hallie following right behind.

Everyone else stayed behind, and they all waved goodbye as the carriage lifted itself up into the air before vanishing into the distance.

Time passed and they finally arrived at the Pyro Demon Lord’s Kingdom.

High above the lands of the Pyro Demon Lord’s kingdom, Aster noticed how the air was filled with an intense heat.

He also noticed how the city was really big, and there was no way he couldn’t notice the arena, which was definitely the widest, tallest, and largest arena he had ever seen.

From a distance, it looked like a colossal crown with jagged towers and layered stands which seemed to be carved directly into a volcanic plateau.

Aster watched how the crowds in the arena were so lively with the noise they were currently making in anticipation of the first-ever Demon Youth Tournament.

Aster noticed how endless banners fluttered in the wind with each of them bearing the sigil of their beloved Royal Families from across the continent.

The stands seemed to be already full but yet hundreds of thousands of demons filled the terraces as their voices collided with one another to form a loud thunderous rise across the arena.

Every race from every kingdom across the continent seemed to have been gathered here for this special occasion and rightly so because this tournament was viewed as a way to finally settle the latent dispute between all kingdoms of who actually had the strongest current generation of demons, and only after the tournament concludes will the internal conflict come to a close.

And so, Vivian’s carriage finally came into view.

At first, the crowd’s noise was subtle, but after the carriage appeared really close, their cheers surged together at once to form a unified roar that exploded straight from one side of the arena as banners bore the insignia of House Gremory.

"YOUR MAJESTY!!"

"THE DRAGON QUEEN!!!"

"THE QUEEN OF DEMONS!!"

"HOUSE GREMORY!!!"

"LONG LIVE HOUSE GREMORY!!"

Satyrs leaped onto railings as they pumped their fists into the air while Centaurs stomped their hooves as they rattled the stones beneath them.

Demons raised their weapons, staffs, and flags as waves of cheers surged outward like a storm.

The sound was overwhelming and it spread across the arena in echoes as it drowned out all other noises until even rival kingdoms were forced to fall silent, wondering how their fellow demons could be so energetic toward just one female demon Queen.

Yes, Vivian might have done a lot for the demon race in general, but across the continent, no demons could ever be compared to the demons who owed their lives to the Dragon Queen.

Her achievements in her kingdom were truly remarkable and no demon could ever replicate what she had done for them.

Meanwhile, Aster felt his heart clench a little as he watched how demons craned their necks while pointing at the descending carriage, and their whispers spread across the arena like wildfire.

Both denizens from Vivian’s kingdom and denizens from her rivals’ Kingdom all had something to say as they watched the carriage descend in the center of the arena.

"Oh, is that the Dragon Queen?"

"Hmm, it seems like it."

"So, she really came, huh?"

"Yeah, it seems so."

"Then, I’m guessing that must be the Dragon Queen’s son and daughter."

"Yeah, there he is."

"What’s his name?"

"I heard it’s Prince Astaroth."

"Hmm, I see."

Some were genuinely curious about what the Dragon Prince would do in today’s tournament, while others simply had jealousy written all over their face, and the remaining ones were either praising or simply hating him for reasons even they couldn’t explain.

Meanwhile, Aster cared very little about what others thought of him.

His eyes remained focused as he stepped out of the carriage and into the arena with his mother and sister walking right next to him.

Seeing this, the cheers of demons from their kingdom peaked even more.

"YOUR MAJESTY!!!"

"YOUR HIGHNESS!!!"

"PRINCE ASTAROTH!!"

"SHOW THEM WHAT YOU’RE MADE OF!!

"DON’T HOLD BACK!!!".

"AND DON’T LET ANYONE STAND IN YOUR WAY OF WINNING THIS TOURNAMENT!!!"

"YEAH!!"

Hearing all these, Vivian smiled before snapping her fingers as Aster vanished into the spot meant for the contenders, while she, Lily, and Hallie vanished into the spot reserved for both royal families from across the continent and from other important continents as well.

But the moment Vivian, Lily, and Hallie appeared within the elevated royal platform overlooking the arena, the deafening roar from below softened into the background, and the three ladies glanced around their current surroundings.

The spot they were in, was suspended high enough so that the heat from the ground level wouldn’t reach them.

Wide archways opened to the sky with banners of countless kingdoms hanging gently as the winds passed through, but when Vivian, Lily, and Hallie arrived, two figures instantly stood up from their seats to approach the three of them.

One of them was Rowena, a beautiful silver colored hair queen with a long and pointy pair of ears.

Rowena was an elf Queen and also a really good friend of Vivian as well.

Since she was always really busy in her Kingdom, Rowena rarely stepped out of her castle, but had decided to do so because she heard Vivian’s children would be participating in a tournament today, and it was certainly shocking news when Rowena heard of Vivian having not only one but two children.

Hence why she made it a priority for her to come visit her friend and to see her cute little children as well.

"Vivian," Rowena called out as she stepped closer to Vivian.

"Look at you. You look exactly the same since I last saw you." Rowena said as her eyes swept over Vivian before stopping abruptly on the small figure peeking out from behind her leg.

"Oh my, and you brought your daughter with you? She’s so cute!!!!" Rowena instantly knelt in front of Lily before cupping her small, soft cheeks adorably.

The little demon princess blinked cutely and wondered who this weird but beautiful lady was, but then Lily suddenly noticed a figure approaching behind the beautiful elf in front of her.

She lifted her head up and noticed a tall, beautiful woman with wings that were neatly folded behind her.

The beautiful lady seemed to be dressed in a white and golden colored dress but what really caught Lily’s attention was the bright halo glowing atop the woman’s head.

Aurora approached Vivian with her hands folded across her big breasts, and she had a frown that clearly showed that she wasn’t happy to see Vivian right now, but still, she couldn’t help but approach her friend right now.

Meanwhile, Vivian noticed her friend approaching her and her lips stretched into a warm smile. "Hey, Aurora. Long time no see."

"Who said I’m here to see you?" Aurora harrumphed as she lowered her gaze to Lily, who had now pulled her mother’s dress.

"Mama, is she an.....?"

"Yes dear, Aurora is an Angel."

"Is she mad at us?"

Aurora swiftly crouched in front of the little princess, just as Rowena had done and she immediately let Lily to know who she’s actually mad at right now. "No, of course not little one, I’m not mad at you. I’m only mad at your mother instead."

"What for? Did she do something bad?"

"Well, it’s complicated and that’s why I’m still mad at her."

"Don’t mind her dear, Mama didn’t do anything bad to Aurora. She’s simply just being dramatic."
