Chapter 758

Anton saw that Raymond, the manor’s butler, was waiting for him when he returned to the main house from the orchard.

“Where’s my father?”

“He went with his men to the Corridors of Amuneta dungeon to return to delving its depths,” Raymond told him.

Anton told the butler the main reason why he returned to the manor was to make sure that none of the staff disturbed the magical sugar glider. Since the sugar gliders could take care of themselves, none in the manor had to do anything but make sure that everyone would know the tiny creatures were there, so no one would hurt or capture them.

He also told Raymond that Rodri, the gardener, was planning to create a small pond either beside or inside the garden and that he had already given his permission. The butler told him that the staff would do all they could to assist the elven gardener.

Raymond then reported the status of the family, the manor and its staff, and the family businesses. Anton was glad that everything looked to be stable. He told the butler that he would be continuing his journey and would return in a week or so. He then handed almost all of the town portal scrolls Anton had transferred from the game to the real world to be given to his father, so they would have enough for their quota of scrolls to submit them to the Ormundan wizards.

Thankfully, a change occurred in his system that he could use to town portal scroll inside the game, and it would show him the option of activating it inside the game or in real life. He was expecting it to happen since all the consumables from the game could be consumed inside the game and would reflect for him in real life.

Anton returned to the Northern Forest to continue his journey once Raymond had completed all his reports. He even declined the butler’s offer for a quickly prepared meal.

Once he was back in the forest, Anton quickly dispelled the portal and swept his surroundings to check if anyone noticed the portal. There seemed to be no sentient creature nearby, so he calmed down.

He continued flying slowly, moving north. He still stopped once in a while to inspect anything that caught his fancy, whether it was flora, fauna, or even strange areas. When noon arrived, a heavy snowfall arrived. He persisted in flying forward, but soon, the snow was so heavy that Anton realized that it was probably a blizzard.

Anton looked for a place to hunker down, and when he saw one, he placed his tiny house, summoned a couple of Spirit Wolves as guards, and immediately entered the beautiful, small house that was made for him by the forest elves. He then remembered that he had forgotten to place all the furniture that he ordered from the elves to the manor to be arranged by Raymond in his bedroom, his father's bedroom, and his sister's. He shrugged and planned to do it the next time he returned to the Rose Manor.

He activated a Fire Wall Stove, and soon the small house was toasty. He removed his outer clothing and sat on his bed. Since it looked like he would be stuck in this place for hours, Anton decided to spend his time leveling up his Diablo Characters after eating lunch. He would focus on his newly created ladder Warlock, and once he got tired of it, he would continue studying the Medium Array Book. He was truly intrigued by the knowledge inside the Arrays books, and the two books had greatly enhanced his ability to create semi-permanent enchantments that were based on his Diablo II spells. Once he was well-versed in Arrays, he planned to create permanent different season gardens inside the Rose Manor. The family would have its own Winter Garden, Spring Garden, Summer Garden, and even Autumn Garden, although he could probably combine Spring and Summer Gardens.

The blizzard was extremely fierce, and Anton was forced to stay in that location for three days. Thankfully, he had tons of resources in his inventory, and a single Fire Wall stove was enough for his beautiful small house. He had been collecting food and drinks for a long time.

Magic truly made his travel experience extremely good since the convenience it brought him was unmatched by anything that technology could bring him. He could do his bathroom business, and with a cleaning spell, everything would be clean. He could even take a bath, even though he did not need to because of the cleaning spell, but he did because the warm water truly felt divine.

Anton was also not in danger of getting bored since he had access to Earth’s internet. He could watch all the movies, anime, and television shows, and even read all the novels that he could ever want. Still, he spent the majority of those three days leveling up his ladder Warlock character in Diablo II. He had managed to level up his ladder Warlock character to level seventy.

He also spent a few hours thinking over the builds of his Diablo characters that would best assist him in real life. First, the Amazon character. Most of the skill points went towards strengthening the Valkyrie skill, so he put all of the skill points into Valkyrie, Evade, Avoid, Dodge, Penetrate, and Critical Strike. He did not even follow his rule of putting a single point on all of the character’s skills. The build basically made his Valkyrie extremely powerful.

Next was his Assassin characters. He put all the skill points in the Shadow Discipline skill tree. He maximized Shadow Master and Shadow Warrior, and that allowed him to have two powerful summons from the Assassin character. Anton kept forgetting Shadow Warrior and would usually just summon the Shadow Master, but the Shadow Warrior was also powerful, so next time, he would summon it as well. The rest of the points were spread to Cloak of Shadows, Fade, Burst of Speed, Mind Blast, and the corresponding skills for all the desired skills to be available.

Next was the Barbarian character. Anton wanted to have some physical skills to use if needed, so he put all the skill points into Whirlwind, Natural Resistance, Iron Skin, Battle Command, and Shout. Basically, the majority of his thick defense came from the Barbarian skill tree.

On his Druid character, he maximized the skills Summon Grizzly, Summon Dire Wolf, Summon Spirit Wolf, a few on the Heart of the Wolverine, a single point on Poison Creeper, and a single point on all Elemental skills.

Next was his Necromancer character. Anton maximized Clay Golem, Golem Mastery, Bone Armor, curses like Lower Resist, Amplify Damage, and the remaining points to Decrepify, aside from putting skill points to those skills that would allow him to reach the desired skills.

On Paladin, Anton put maximum points on Prayer, Cleansing, Meditation, Fanaticism, a couple of points on Sanctuary, and the rest were put into Holy Bolt for long-range healing purposes, aside from the skill points that were put on skills to reach the desired skills.

Last was the Sorceress, aside from the new Warlock character. Anton put a single point on all of the skills. The only skills that had 20 points were Blizzard, Hydra, Meteor, and the extremely useful in real life Telekinesis spell. He also put a few points on Energy Shield. Still, with his gear focused on the Sorceress, Anton's Sorceress skills were the most powerful skills that he had in real life.
