My father sold me to the Mafia King-Chapter 165/Possessive Obsession
Chapter 165
Robert’s Point of View
I was walking with Natalia toward the club exit, my hand lightly gripping her arm to support her and keep her from stumbling. She was swaying left and right, her heavy head resting on my shoulder as she mumbled words I didn’t pay the slightest bit of attention to.
I opened the car door for her, settled her into the passenger seat with annoyance, and then climbed behind the wheel.
Carlos got into the back seat and exhaled in boredom. "What now? Are we really dropping off this madwoman?"
Natalia turned to him with bloodshot eyes and screamed, "I am not mad! Do you understand?"
"Yes, yes... crystal clear," Carlos replied coldly, looking away.
Suddenly, Natalia pulled off one of her high-heeled shoes and, in a hysterical motion, tried to strike Carlos’s head with it. I grabbed her wrist firmly and wrenched the shoe from her hand. "Natalia! Enough!"
"I’ll drive it into his skull! Give me my shoe, Robert!" she shrieked, trying to claw it back.
I looked at Carlos through the rearview mirror and said sharply, "Shut your mouth! Let’s just end this night in peace."
I began driving at a frantic speed, gripping the steering wheel so hard my knuckles turned white; I couldn’t stand her presence for another minute.
As soon as we reached her mansion, I braked violently and said to Carlos, "Stay here. I’ll take her inside and come back."
I got out and pulled her from the car as she teetered. Carlos stepped out behind me and said dully, "Don’t be long."
"I won’t be," I said shortly.
Carlos hopped into the front passenger seat while I grabbed Natalia by the arm and hauled her toward the entrance. When we reached the door, I asked stolidly, "Where’s the key?" She began searching through her purse aimlessly until she pulled it out, asking with a stagger, "Is this it?"
I took it from her, inserted it into the lock, opened the door, and nudged her gently inside. "Come on, let’s go in."
But she faltered in her steps, nearly falling as she whispered, "I can’t walk..."
I exhaled with a lack of patience and scooped her up into my arms. At that moment, in a sudden move, she wrapped her arm around my neck, pressed her lips against mine with force, and kissed me.
Before I could push her away or stop her, the lights in the foyer suddenly flared to life.
I froze in my tracks as I saw Secretary Jax Harrington standing in the hall with a terrifying dignity. I broke her lips away from mine quickly and set her on the floor. "Mr. Secretary!" I said, my voice struggling to remain steady.
He looked at me with eyes as cold as ice. "Robert... I never expected you to try and trifle with my daughter."
"Mr. Harrington, it’s not what it looks like," I said quickly, adjusting my jacket.
"Holding her in your arms and kissing her... how exactly does that look to you, Robert?" he replied, stepping toward us with measured strides.
Natalia laughed loudly, clinging to my arm. "Dad... let me introduce you to my boyfriend, Robert!" She laughed hysterically and added, "Oh, how stupid of me... you already know him!"
"Mr. Harrington, I can explain," I said in a serious tone.
"Sit down here, Mr. Robert, so we can talk properly," he interrupted sternly, gesturing toward the sofa.
I tried to excuse myself. "I have to leave..."
But he fixed me with a gaze that brooked no argument. "Robert... come, sit."
I walked over reluctantly while Natalia stuck to me like a shadow. Secretary Jax sat on the individual armchair, and I sat opposite him, while Natalia threw herself down right next to me.
"I didn’t know there was a relationship between you and my daughter, Robert," Jax said, interlacing his fingers.
Before I could open my mouth, Natalia beat me to it. "He promised me he would marry me, Dad!"
My jaw dropped in shock, and a cold sweat began to break out on my back. "Really?" Jax asked, his tone filled with suspicion. "Does that mean you are in a serious relationship, then?"
"Mr. Harrington, Natalia is drunk and doesn’t know what she’s saying!" I snapped.
"I am not drunk!" Natalia protested, stomping her foot on the floor. "And even if I were, I don’t lie... You said you’d marry me!"
I turned to her and hissed through gritted teeth, "Natalia, please, shut up!" Then I looked back at Jax. "Your daughter and I have nothing between us."
"Are you playing with my daughter?" he asked in a tone that threatened to explode.
"No, of course not," I said truthfully. "The simple fact is that we had a misunderstanding."
"A misunderstanding?" he replied sarcastically. "And you come to her house at this late hour, hold her in your arms and kiss her, and tell me you had a ’misunderstanding’? Do I look like a fool to you, Robert?"
"I didn’t mean that," I said, trying to salvage the situation. "But Natalia is drunk and I had to bring her home. When she stumbled and was about to fall, I picked her up... that’s all."
Natalia suddenly erupted into a scream. "Why are you lying to him? Why are you saying this, Robert? Why don’t you tell him that you told me you wanted to fuck me right here, right now?"
I was stunned by the filthy words coming out of her mouth. I froze in place and looked at Mr. Harrington’s face, which had turned a deep, dark red from sheer rage.
"She’s drunk! She doesn’t know what she’s saying! I swear to you, I never said that!" I said in disbelief.
Natalia continued brazenly, shaking my arm. "Stop being afraid, Robert! Are you scared of my father? Tell him again what you said when you told me you missed sliding your dick into my pussy!" 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
I clamped my hand over her mouth firmly so she couldn’t utter another word to stoke the fire. Secretary Jax stood up suddenly, slamming his fist onto the table and shouting in a furious rage, "Enough! I cannot hear any more of this vulgarity!"
"I never said those things!" I said, standing up defensively.
"I don’t want to hear anything from you, Robert!" he replied, pointing his finger toward the door, his eyes blazing with malice. "Get out of here!"
I stood rooted to the spot, feeling the noose of her words tightening around my neck, while Natalia stood there, clinging to my arm with all her strength, whispering in a slick tone, "Robert, don’t go, please... I want you."
Mr. Harrington looked at us with a contemptuous gaze, sparks flying from his eyes. He exhaled sharply and said, "I can’t stand this... I’m going back to my house." He stormed out of the house, slamming the door so hard the walls of the lounge shook, while I remained standing there, paralyzed, trying to process the magnitude of the mess this madwoman had dragged me into.
"Carry me... I can’t go up to my room," Natalia said coquettishly, leaning her body toward me.
"Go up yourself. I’m leaving," I replied stolidly, trying to pry my hand away from her.
"Robert, please..." she pleaded, looking as though she were about to fall.
I told myself this was the last step and then I was gone; I’d take her to her room and leave immediately. I scooped her into my arms again and climbed the stairs with heavy steps.
All the way up, she was spouting nonsense and whispering incoherent words, so I ignored her completely. I opened her bedroom door, took her inside, and set her down on the bed with a slight sharpness.
"Help me unzip my dress," she said, reaching toward the zipper.
"Enough, Natalia! I am not your servant," I snapped with dwindling patience.
And suddenly, the unexpected happened. She sat up perfectly straight, perched on the edge of the bed with a sudden, regal dignity. "Really, Robert? Is this how you treat women?" she asked, her voice sharp and clear.
I took a step back in shock; I was stunned by how her body had tensed and how the drunken rasp had vanished from her voice. I narrowed my eyes. "You aren’t drunk!"
She let out a loud laugh that rang through the cold room. "Of course not."
"Did you plan all of this? To trap me so your father would find us?" I asked, feeling the anger boiling in my veins.
She straightened her attire and said with a chilling coldness, "When I saw you enter that club, I sent a message to my father telling him to go to my house and wait for me because I had an important matter to discuss.
Then I came to you, acted drunk, and forced you to take me home. I pretended I was falling so you’d carry me... and I kissed you so my father would see us."
She paused for a moment, savoring the shock on my face, then said with a triumphant smile, "I’m a fantastic actress, aren’t I, darling?"
I clenched my fists and said in a sharp tone, "Natalia, I can’t believe you did this! Do you think this will change anything?"
She stood directly in front of me, her eyes gleaming with possessiveness. "I will have you, Robert, at any price... you will be mine alone."
"You know very well that won’t happen," I replied sternly, heading for the door.
But her voice followed me, screaming with insistence, "You will be mine, Robert... mine alone!"
