Chapter 321: Chapter 320: Confession

"Say another curse, try!"

A cold voice came through, and Renee Grant wiped the orange juice off her face, now clearly seeing who wore the sullen expression.

It was Ethan Grant, her brother.

Renee watched Ethan approach step by step, instantly recalling the night when Ethan drove recklessly towards her, causing her face to pale.

"Ethan."

The aura weakened immediately, Ethan went over, squatted at Serena Sullivan’s feet, and used a tissue to wipe off the orange juice and water splashed on her.

He had just gone to get a bottle of mineral water and some fruit when Renee ran over to provoke Serena, almost courting death.

After cleaning up Serena, he turned around and looked at Renee coldly.

The hospital garden was crowded, the sunlight brilliant, the weather warm, yet under Ethan’s gaze, Renee trembled involuntarily.

"Ethan, I’m doing this for you."

Those fake words again, "Look at her, a cripple..."

The word "person" was cut off as Renee noted Ethan’s icy gaze and swallowed nervously, changing her speech, "She sits in a wheelchair all day, you must be exhausted taking care of her.

"Besides, The Sullivan Family isn’t a top-tier family, Claire Sullivan handed the company to a driver to manage. Without The Grant Family backing The Sullivan Corporation over the years, it would have already failed."

"You’re the heir to The Grant Family, you should find someone of equal social status."

Renee spoke earnestly, seeming completely considerate of Ethan Grant and The Grant Corporation.

Such dedication and selflessness!

If Ethan doesn’t accept, he’s wrong, unfilial, and unjust.

"Ethan, your sister truly means it for your good..."

Renee spoke, noticing the deep sarcasm in Ethan’s eyes, her voice growing weaker.

Whether selfish or selfless, she knew best in her heart.

"Thanks, sister, for worrying about me." Ethan spoke slowly, his cold smile making Renee anxious, forcing her to lower her head, glaring at Serena.

All of this was Serena’s fault, tearing their family apart like enemies.

Serena ignored Renee’s coldness, chuckling disdainfully, and wheeled aside.

How Ethan treated Renee and how he broke from The Grant Family was of no concern to her!

"Sister has been so good to me, I’ll always remember it." Ethan said softly, curling his lips, taking out his phone from his pocket.

Renee thought Ethan had realized.

How could anyone not resent Serena, an invalid?

She was about to smile at Ethan when he showed her his phone.

Displayed was a photo—with a man Renee couldn’t possibly forget.

It was Felix Lockwood, her husband, the man she loved most!

And the woman beside Felix, Renee recognized even more.

"Where did you get this photo?" Renee reached out to grab it, but Ethan coldly returned the phone to his pocket.

"I saw them meet at the hospital a few days ago."

"Is brother-in-law acquainted with Claire Sullivan? They seem quite close." 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Suddenly mentioning "Claire Sullivan", Serena looked at Ethan and Renee, puzzled.

Renee’s expression became even more grim, gritting her teeth and cursing, "Bitch!"

"If sister keeps causing trouble for Serena, I won’t mind giving brother-in-law something to do."

"What do you mean by that?"

Threatened by Ethan, Renee panicked.

"Or, I can introduce brother-in-law to a few girls who resemble a certain someone, or directly pair them up."

"In no time, Sean might have more little brothers and sisters."
