Early the next morning, Ruby showed up at the Wilson's home, looking for Kate.

Mr. Charles knew the Bentlys were not welcome because of past issues with the Wilson family and initially refused to let Ruby inside.

However, Ruby was persistent, explaining that Kate had been at the event the previous night but hadn't returned home, which is why she was there.

Mr. Charles was skeptical and was about to have Ruby escorted out of the property.

"Mom, we went to the shed in the back of the house! That's where I woke up!" Kate's face turned bright red, and she looked down, embarrassed.

"Kate, darling, this is crucial. It's the key to our entire plan. Are you absolutely sure it was Daniel?"

"Yes, Mom, I'm sure! Don't you trust me? Just wait. You'll be Daniel's mother-in-law soon!"

Daniel was in a great mood today at the Wilson Group of Companies headquarters, which made him work much faster. He probably didn't realize he was so focused because he needed to pick up his son from Chantelle's place soon.

When Ashton rushed in, looking worried with a tablet in his hand, he saw Daniel staring off into space with a relaxed smile.
