Chapter 666: Primordial Representative Vs Arachne Progenitor

Boom!!!

A huge surge of energy exploded from the spider.

It was so strong it shoved distant planets and knock them out of their orbits.

Olivia was the only one who stayed in place.

Alex and Mingyue were not so lucky.

The shockwave slammed into them, and they used the impact to pull even farther away.

Both of them knew it at the same time. The fight they were about to see would give them a glimpse of peak power in the universe.

"You’re nothing more than a zombie. Stop showing off."

Slash!!!

Olivia slashed forward.

Space split in front of her, a clean cut that opened a dark seam, as if reality itself had been split apart.

Lolth body split with it, one half dropping, the other rising.

In the next moment, both halves vanished like they had never existed.

The moon-sized body was gone.

There was no presence, no sound, nothing to track at all.

Olivia’s scanned the space, then tightened her grip on the red crystalline sword, prepared to make a move.

Bam.

A kick hit her back.

Her body shot forward and smashed into an asteroid.

The asteroid cracked on impact, then it burst into a storm of shards that spun away in every direction.

Olivia pushed off the debris and stabilized herself. She raised her sword pointing it at the figure that had appeared behind her.

A humanoid shape made entirely of light hovered there.

The light-figure stand in the space, like it have ground.

Olivia’s eyes narrowed. "Just what’s this? A soul body?" 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

The light-figure did not answer. It raised one hand, and the broken asteroid shards froze mid-spin.

Then they launched.

Thousands of fragments turned into a rain of blades. They came from every angle.

Olivia sword drew a red arc, then another. Each slash erased the fragments into dust before they could reach her.

The light-figure stepped forward once. Space folded slightly, and the distance between them collapsed.

Olivia’s pupils shrank.

She twisted sideways and swung, aiming for the figure’s neck.

Clang.

The red blade met something invisible. The shockwave tore nearby debris apart

Olivia did not stop. She followed with a second slash, then a third, each one faster and more deadly.

The light-figure leaned back, then snapped forward with a punch.

BAM!!!

The punch did not just hit her guard.

It hit the space around her.

Olivia’s body jolted as if the space itself had turned into a wall.

She slid backward, carving a trench through an asteroid’s surface as she passed.

Alex’s throat tightened as he watched from far away.

"That power... it’s as if the space itself moved to attack by her will.

Mingyue’s eyes stayed cold, but her fingers trembled slightly.

It’s not from fear, it’s excitement.

She want to joint the fight. "If we go all out do you think we can fight them?"

Alex were speechless doesn’t know how to respond.

FIght? Forget it, he doesn’t even know how Lolth power works.

’Vesa say she has mastery over soul, just how soul could produce fighting strength like this?’

SWOSSH!!!

The light-figure raised both hands.

A planet in the distance trembled. Its surface rippled, then split into long glowing scars.

Olivia’s expression changed.

She vanished and reappeared above the light-figure, blade already descending.

SLASH!!!

The slash came down like a judgement, aimed to cut the head in a single strike.

The light-figure shifted its shoulder.

The kick came again, this time upward, and it caught Olivia mid-swing.

Her body flipped, and she crashed into a second asteroid.

BOOM.

It exploded into a smaller rocks, turning them into dust.

Olivia burst out of the ring and locked onto the light-figure again. had to adjust instantly.

"Fine," she said. "Then I will cut your concept."

Her blade lifted, and the red crystal flared turning nearby debris crimson.

The space around her sword began to distort.

The light-figure tilted its head, almost curious.

Then it moved first.

It appeared in front of Olivia. Its palm hit her sword flat, stopping the red blade mid-swing.

A shockwave erupted outward.

BOOM!!!

A distant moon cracked along its equator, split into two halves, and the halves drifted apart like they had been cut by a giant invisible wire.

Olivia’s eyes widened for the first time.

It’s beyond her expectation that her attack could be blocked this easily.

She pushed forward anyway, forcing the blade through that pressure, until the red edge finally touched the light-figure’s chest.

The light-figure’s body flickered.

"I get it now," Alex said, still observing the fight.

"Her power is obliteration. Through that sword, Caliburn, it gets focused, so she can use it more easily."

"That still doesn’t explain how the light being can fight her," Mingyue said.

"It’s not that hard, Mingyue. Think of it like this.

If you remove one bucket of water from a lake, but from above, a waterfall keeps pouring in ten times that amount, will the lake ever dry up?"

Mingyue frowned, still not fully following.

Alex let out a short chuckle.

"To put it simply, it’s not that her power has no effect. That light being just keeps acquiring another source to refill what gets destroyed, before she can even realize what happened."

Mingyue’s eyes narrowed. "So it’s regeneration."

"Not flesh, A steady supply of soul." Alex said.

"This fighting style really suits her race. It really is like a spider."

Alex nodded. "The scariest part is Lolth is nowhere to be seen. She’s just waiting for the opening before putting in her fangs."

Right now it’s like Olivia has been caught in spiderweb.

She doesn’t even realize it as the one she fought is nothing more than bait to make her run out of energy and learn how she fight.

"In that case, will the Primordial Representative lose?" Mingyue asked.

"I doubt it," Alex said. "She should have more methods. Look at her. She doesn’t look disturbed at all."

Alex’s gaze shifted, toward the now dimmed sun.

"I’m more curious what Saryx will do."
