MMORPG: Rebirth Of The Strongest Assassin-Chapter 68: Announcment
As Yone engaged in combat with the Trogg Twin, as many players liked to call him, he quickly realized that although his reaction speed was greatly reduced, the mini-bos was still matching his attack speed!
His attacks, especially the cleave, which hit three players in front, were very annoying to deal with.
Yone knew he could at most be hit with 2 such attacks before he would die, hence his first priority was defense as he made sure to prioritize dodging above all.
He dodged and dodged and if anyone were to reach level 10 right now and his stamina start getting depleted cause of it, Yone knew that he would have been worn out already ... thankfully, this wasn’t case and he could do this without such a risk, but a great risk of his party coming here was also expected.
Yone placed his benefits above al,l and this mini-boss loot and EXP isn’t something to be shared if he wished to create a guild and beat the others once in the capital city. He had to be selfish from time to time, or else how could he grow to be the strongest?
The last thing he wished for was to be cannon fodder as his past life and looked down upon whenever he went.
He had no more options; he had to put it all into the Frozen Night and hope for critical hits, and with the ten times more damage buff and his True Ice Dagger, dishing massive damage was possible.
Frozen Night... he used the active skill, and the Trogg Twin’s body shook several times.
Taking this chance, Yone used Shadow Step as he reappeared right behind him and targeted his neck in that small gap in his defense.
[ShadowStep]
Grants the player the ability to teleport behind a target of his choosing.
+30% more damage for a duration of three seconds.
Ability: Upgradable.
Cooldown: 17 seconds.
-1700 critical hit
He then used Shadow Dash and repositioned his body to swiftly move a bit to the right in case the boss reacted and one-shot him as he stabbed his heart.
-2000 critical hit
The Trogg Twin collapsed dead, his body turning into pixels as only one item was left behind.
’Hahahaha’ Yone laughed wholeheartedly as he thanked god for his better-than-average memory and his past life position as someone who gathered all bunch of random pieces of information in early levels.

LEVEL UP!
LEVEL UP!
Then a system message popped up in his ears:
+10 gold automatically placed in your bag that has nothing to do with the loot.
Congratulations to player ’Requiem’ for being the first one to defeat Grak’Torr the Wall without any party or aid.
Would you like to announce your name inside the Golden Gate Kingdom as the first one to defeat an uncommon boss of the phoenix rank?
’An uncommon boss of the phoenix rank?’ Yone’s head buzzed hearing these words. Suddenly, he checked the item he looted, and his vision went blank, his heart subconsciously beating faster as he read through its stats.
Rare Belt – Phoenix Rank Drop

Remark:"Grak’Torr’s rage didn’t come from strength, it came from never slowing down."
’I...I...’ Yone was speechless as he took several seconds to finally regain his composure," Those people never spoke about a first kill and whatnot, such sneaky bastards." He cursed as he calmed himself down and got ready to farm with his team. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Yone didn’t believe he did it, but he still quickly placed the item in his bag and spoke in the team chat," Everyone, get ready to farm even more EXP and loot time is up, let’s go."
However, as he was about to head slightly back and meet up with them, another system notification rang in his ears:
Player ’Requiem’ is the first player in the southern region to hit level 10. Would you like to announce your name?
Yone was so lost that he even forgot the first announcement, much less the second. He immediately waved his hand and declined both announcements.
Some publicity is good, but too much of it can backfire on the person, especially a current solo player. Plus, everyone will know that information soon anyway, so he would rather get to the capital city as quickly as possible before many people realize it.
Despite his level, he didn’t wish to enter combat or raid on his way to the capital; that’s not a risk he was willing to take.

After farming for some more time, the EXP the monsters gave began to decrease with each wave they made, and at some point, even loot stopped dropping. Hence, they stopped for the day and knew the AI would not let people abuse such a strategy and get to level 10 in one fell swoop.
Yone bid farewell to his party and told them he would call them whenever anything important about a guild meet-up or anything of that sort came up.
He had reached level 10, and although some guilds, if not the majority, had already noticed. Yone knew that it was still better than the whole player base of his current kingdom found out.
After all, they only took some time farming the monsters, and the duration didn’t surpass 20 minutes before they were incapable of receiving any more, so logically speaking, it was fine.
’I’ll first have to head to the adventure association to get an approval letter, and then head to the mayor of the town and receive another approval letter from him as well.’ Yone thought with annoyance.
Many people got used to End World, and such annoying paperwork never occurred to them in their past life.
Such a scene was funny cause countless of them head to the capital city without a second thought, not realizing that any of such formalities were needed and ended up wasting hours walking back and forth.
Should I make this crucial information public and accumulate some more funds, or just keep it for myself?
