MMORPG: Rebirth Of The Strongest Assassin-Chapter 67: Grak’Torr the Wall
The moment the monsters turned into pixels and disappeared, more began swarming them as numbers kept increasing by themselves with Yone agroing even more each time a wave dies.
The respawn time was five minutes, so waiting all that long for the first wave to respawn wasn’t wise, and to maximize the group’s efficiency of farming, they needed constant grinding and not one from time to time.
The hundreds of Trogg Dwellers had been wiped out, leaving behind a floor covered with items that made everyone drool over.
Meanwhile, everyone’s experience rose madly. EXP of over ten points appeared one after the other, dazzling everyone’s eyes.
Hum!
Silent Wall had risen to Level 6.
"This is too awesome!" Silent Wall roared in ecstasy as he looked at his EXP bar shooting through mid-way level 5 to level 6, a 2% filled bar.
"This is only the beginning. The first wave we killed will still respawn in a moment." Yone laughed, "Let’s quickly pick up the drops."
Suddenly, everyone started busying themselves. Even with five people retrieving the drops, the loot of hundreds of Trogg Dwellers still required them to spend a lot of time doing so.
However, right after they started collecting the loot with a few moments, a Trogg Dweller with two heads and four arms slightly smaller than the ones they had been fighting all this while suddenly appeared.
The Trogg Dweller’s eyes were crimson red. It immediately rushed towards Yone’s party with unparalleled rage as it cut through all of its fellow monsters in its way.
"Not good! It’s the mini-boss of the first room of this mine! Everyone runs away in all directions!" Yone shouted the moment he laid eyes on the small monster, the size of a seven-year-old kid.
Everyone was momentarily dumbstruck before they saw his speed at which he ran at them and fled without looking back.
"Damnit, what kind of mini-boss is this? We literally fighting at the entrance, yet he came to us and even chased us to the forest? This is madness!" Rage cursed as he fled with every fiber of his body, afraid to lose a level and be sent back to level 4.
"Party leader, you told us about him, but why didn’t you mention his stats?" Calm Sea face was ugly as she was the slowest, and the monster was closing in on her after noticing that factor.
Yone had told them about his detection range and that there was a very high chance of him joining the fight at any moment, and even gave them his detection radius, but he never told them that his HP exceeded 10.000 at level 8.
That was absurd!
This mini boss had HP more than the bosses in a dungeon, and everything they had expected...
It should be known that the damage any of them can dish out is merely in the tens at most, with Yone being the highest at the hundreds. Hence, to kill the mini-boss, their party alone would need a few hours since Yone’s insane damage against bosses would only be that high in the first few seconds at his opening.
’I can’t tell you every single detail, can I now?’ Yone couldn’t help but think that Amy was dumb, but didn’t react as he knew it was just a casual reaction of panic. If he told them all the details, then is he really just a beta tester at that point?
Laughable!
However, he had already mentioned that outrunning him was easy, and all they had to do was play cat and mouse with him. They farm for a bit, he detects them, they run, and then go back to farming.
Plan was easy if no one fuck it up and falls or agro any random monsters in the forest.
After running for about five or so minutes, Calm Sea finally stopped as she looked back and found the mini-boss running back to the mine, her heart greatly eased,’ Phew, I almost regretted coming here.’
"Is everyone safe?" Yone asked through the team chat as he hid behind a tree trunk at the outskirts of the forest and right in front of the mine entrance.
"Yes, the mini-boss is heading back," Calm Sea replied, and Yone responded quickly.
"Good, very good. Now wait for several minutes, everyone, so the agro is reset." Right after saying so, Yone turned on Absolute Invisibility and headed towards the destination.’ Sorry guys, but I can’t share this loot, it’s that important for my mission.’
Within seconds, Yone laid his eyes on the boss and couldn’t help but smirk as he noticed him slow him,’ Perfect, exactly like the information from that party!’
[Mini Boss] Grak’Torr the Wall: Elite
Level 8: Trogg Dweller Brute
10,000 / 10,000 HP
After a few days of the dungeon discovery, and after several parties getting killed by either the swarm of Trogg Dwellers or the mini-boss Grak’Torr the wall, people have found out a way to counter him and managed to take this mine as their guild’s farming spot.
The strategy was simple, while he was coming back from his chase across the forest, he would slow down ten or so meters right before the mine entrance. At that moment, he would be at his most vulnerable state, and killing him would be a piece of cake.
Eclipse Online was a fair game, and there isn’t a single mini-boss or monster that couldn’t be defeated on the same level. If such a case occurred, it only meant that players had failed to find the exact strategy to kill him.
At this moment, a small remark appeared right under the mini-boss’s information:
Do not engage in a fight unless he is about to reach the mine entrance.
Proficient in defense and speed.
Yone laughed inwardly and sprang into action.
He knew he was outclassed in a fair fight, but in such a case, it wasn’t a fair fight, as the boss’s reaction speed is non-existent, and the damage he could put out was ten times more.
That’s what was meant by the mini-boss being vulnerable!
