Miss Witch Doesn't Want to be a Diva-Chapter 1576 - 59: Three Shards
In the hall, the candles still flickered, like thousands of stars twinkling, as Tilan awoke on the throne at this moment.
Her head was still groggy, but it would get better after a period of rest. Previously, she had heard Feruceline mention how dangerous the depths of the Aijieka Sea were, but despite losing her way and wandering for a long time during her exploration this time, it wasn’t as dangerous as said.
After thinking it through, Tilan attributed this situation to her special talent authority. As the ’Healing Crystal,’ her characteristic was aggregation, condensation, maintenance, stabilization, and it wouldn’t be easily destroyed or altered.
She remembered she once personally touched a Chaos Phantom. In the past ages, such natural disasters were particularly terrifying, eroding the mental consciousness of the contacted, causing confusion and loss of control before finally being assimilated, but she held it in her hand without any anomaly.
After clearing up the safety issues, her thoughts turned to the sleeping Four Originals. So far, it seemed although the Four Originals had not returned to the present world, they were not completely ignorant of the current Milky Way and human civilization, otherwise, that Primordial Wind would not have told her that it’s not time to go there yet.
Since they knew, yet the development of civilization remained in this state, it indicated that everything now was still within their expected or controlled range, Tilan continued to analyze.
Then, what might the opponent’s expectations encompass? If the bottom line was the doomed darkness of the Fifth Epoch, then although the Federation was decadent, its lower limit was much higher. Whether it’s the civil war four hundred years ago or the current power struggles among her sides, they were participated in by the upper echelons and the military without directly affecting civilians, and unlike the inhumane massacres and genocides of the Fifth Epoch.
Tilan gently rubbed her forehead, continuing to ponder the current issues.
If this was the case, as long as she did not break through the bottom line, the sleeping Four Originals should not awaken. As for what the bottom line was, Tilan guessed the Fifth Epoch might have hit rock bottom.
If so, once she fully integrated the Federation, as long as she didn’t touch the bottom line, the Four Originals would not come out to interfere. However, what she contemplated was not a reform like Emuralin.
The changes on the chessboard were merely changes on the chessboard. After her passing, everything would eventually return to the state as with the changes brought by Isenisha and Emuralin, with the Federation slowly sliding into decay.
What she truly wanted to do was to completely change the meaning of the human species and even the form of civilization’s existence.
In a way, Tilan’s real wish was not conservative but as radical as possible, to the extent that before everything was ready, her displayed behavior appeared particularly gentle.
She could not be sure if such changes would be accepted by the sleeping Four Originals in the Aijieka Sea. If opposition arose, she must grasp the power to confront it.
In other words, she must find a way to control the ’Eternal Covenant of Lorania’ to ensure that no untoward incidents would occur.
"Eternal Covenant of Lorania..." Tilan murmured the term, with information about that mysterious existence floating through her mind.
Loranshia was not a life of the present world but a personification of another universe’s will. There was very little information about her, merely mentioned in legends. It’s said that this nearly god-like existence sat on the other side of Aijieka, overlooking this universe and world. She was the source of Extraordinary Power and the final point of all miracles.
This unknown existence, the reason for her birth could be described as mythical. She was born from the memories of the Primordial Wind; the two shared exactly the same appearance. However, according to the most secretive records of the cult, that Miss inherited the relatively negative emotional memory of the Primordial Wind, lacking the Cradle’s Wings’ kindness and gentleness; instead, she was more inclined to coldness and indifference.
If one could obtain her promised Holy Artifact, they would probably also gain the right to dialogue with her. This right, as the other side of light and shadow, was once owned by the Cradle’s Wings, and the two jointly composed this Covenant.
Subsequently, in all likelihood, the Pioneer of the Federation, Isenisha, had once possessed it. Various signs indicated that when Isenisha passed away, she had a certain premonition about the Federation’s future. She was even able to convey some information across the long river of time to the future Color-level Songstresses.
Compared to Isenisha, Emuralin was not as clear. She could only vaguely sense that future generations would give birth to new Color-level Songstresses, leaving behind certain information.
Tilan speculated that the shard of the Federation’s Covenant was most likely preserved in the depths of Fortress Star in the Floral Crown Star Domain, which was also the most precious treasure, a testament to the legitimacy of the Federation’s establishment.
If she wished to touch that Covenant, she probably needed to become the leader of the Central Star Domain and gain the Third Fleet’s recognition. This fleet remained the most potent Federation fleet currently, with unknown forces under its command guarding the Floral Crown Star Domain. She remembered when she first arrived at the capital of the Floral Crown Star Domain, she had seen a Sequence 9 ’God Simulator’ underground, a mechanical life left by the Transcenders of the glorious era.
The existing Third Fleet was established single-handedly by Emuralin, completely loyal to Emuralin’s legacy, guarding the core of the Federation’s legal framework, and serving as the final safety valve of this nation. Even if the Western Star Region declared independence, it did not legally depart from the Federation, more resembling a family of children having a spat.
As for the other two Covenant shards, one was with the Sigma Mechanical Council, and the other was with the Holy White Melody. She had gained some understanding of the former and could inquire about the current state of the Mechanical Council from Loloria, slowly coming to know their intentions.
When it came to Holy White Melody, Tilan felt very unfamiliar. This organization or nation occupied a very small area, only the size of one Star Domain. They were the successors of the ’Three Saints’ and played a crucial role in combating the Black Sun of the Fifth Epoch. However, now the domain accessible to human civilization from them was minimal, likely just some of their products that assisted in practicing sequences, such as soothing instruments, spices, secret techniques, etc. Some of her classmates had bought these products during middle school.
The Holy White Melody adhered to silence, rejection of domination, and true self, rarely recruiting members from outside, positioning itself as a reclusive, secluded organization, always shrouding itself in a layer of mystery.
Should she visit them? If not now, there would be no time until she integrated the Federation completely, Tilan pondered the options.
It’s better to visit once. Now, the Southern Star Region still needs time to grow and gather strength, and the Central Star Domain remains internally unstable with no strong expansion plans. Other Star Regions also have their own problems internally, resulting in a delicate balance within the Federation, which is a rare period of peace.
After making the decision, Tilan began arranging future affairs.
