Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 38: Lysander’s new friend
Chapter 38: Lysander’s new friend
Silas’s POV
As Lysander, Nekol, and I step in—
"Silas, did you see? There are so many actors here!"
I glance at Lysander. "Yeah, so?"
"Nothing, I’m just reminding you—don’t fall for them. Just look at me."
"Hey, piggy, there’s nothing to see in you. You’re ugly."
Saying that, I move forward. Those actors start shaking hands with me—and with Lysander as well—since we’re part of the main cast.
"Your name is Silas, right? You’re so beautiful, and I heard this is your first drama. But you look so confident! Give me some tips—it’s my first drama too."
The guy who asked me this was an omega. I smiled at him.
"Always believe in yourself you can do this... No, actually, that’s not what I’m gonna say because this isn’t some kind of motivational speech. Just think that you have to do it, no matter what, because you want to achieve your goal."
His eyes were shining as I finished speaking. Oh, he’s cute.
As I was smiling at everyone, suddenly Lysander came from behind and rested his chin on my head. Huh... This piggy is getting more annoying by the second.
Some people smiled seeing that, but others started staring at me like I had done something wrong. Excuse me? It’s Lysander who’s being clingy, not me!
"Lysander, mind your behavior."
I move away from him, but he immediately comes and stands beside me again.
"Why are you suddenly telling me to mind my behavior? Did I do something wrong?"
Look at him, asking so sweetly as if he hasn’t done anything. Of course, you have!
Just then, I hear—
"Silas!"
"Silas!"
Just from the voice, I know who it is. I glance in that direction, and just then, Ciel steps forward. Oh, so he was standing behind them.
He’s wearing a black silk shirt and tight black pants—ugh, still looking ugly.
I don’t reply, but he walks up to me himself.
"Silas, you didn’t even say hello after seeing me?"
His expression looks completely hurt, and his voice is hoarse like he’s about to cry.
"Did you forget your own brother, Silas? I know Dad kicked you out of the pack, but I still think of you as my brother."
What the hell is he saying? And that too, loudly! Everyone hears him. He’s doing this on purpose.
Now everyone is staring at me. Because when someone gets kicked out of their own pack, it usually means they’ve done something terrible. Great. Now they’re probably thinking I did something wrong.
Wait—who got kicked out of the pack? No one. Because I left on my own. What kind of bullshit is he spouting?
I step closer to Ciel, standing right in front of him.
"Ohh, come on, Ciel, you make it sound like we were biological brothers... Did you forget you’re adopted?" I smirk. "And one more thing—"
"No one kicked me out of the pack. Not even Dad. I left with my own will."
His eyes turn teary, and he starts shedding crocodile tears. Such a shameless bitch. I really want to slap him right now. But this moment isn’t the right time.
"Silas... hic... I know you hate me... hic"
Just then, I see Director Wang coming in, carrying Shao.
I walk toward Director Wang, deliberately bumping my shoulder against Ciel’s as I pass him.
When I reach them, Shao notices me.
"Pretty brother! Give me a hug!"
"Aww, Shao, why are you so cute? But I can’t hug you right now."
"And Director Wang, when are we going to start shooting?"
As I ask the director, my attention shifts to Ciel. He’s still crying, and beside him, Lysander is standing—talking to him. No, actually, it looks like he’s comforting him.
Tch. I think he really has a talent for snatching Alphas. No, it’s not like Lysander and I are in a relationship, but he was acting like he liked me. I noticed it. I just pretended not to. And now, look at this. He’s also getting mesmerized by Ciel—just like Zarek.
I swear, if I didn’t have to see Ciel again, my life would be so much better.
"Silas, where are you lost?"
"Huh?! Oh... yes, Director Wang?" freewebnoveℓ.com
"The shoot will start in the afternoon. The location is the school beside this hotel."
I nod. Just then, I see crew members entering with mine and Lysander’s luggage. My luggage was in Nekol’s car, which the crew members drove last night. They must’ve just arrived.
"Thank you for bringing my luggage," I say, bowing slightly.
I grab my suitcase. Just then, we receive our room keys—Nekol and I are sharing a room. After grabbing our bags, we quickly get into the elevator.
As the doors are closing, I see Lysander running toward the elevator—but too late! The doors shut.
And I’m happy about it. I don’t want to talk to Lysander right now.
Nekol still seems in shock. He probably needs some time to fully recover. But until his boyfriend learns a lesson for what he did to Nekol, we can’t let our guard down.
We head straight to our room. As soon as we get inside, I lock the door.
I take a shower first, and after me, Nekol takes one too. He orders something for us to eat in the room.
Our order is arriving soon, but we’re both starving. Sitting on the bed, we just keep staring at the door, waiting.
Finally, after ten minutes, there’s a knock.
"Your order, sir."
It’s the waiter. I quickly get up to open the door, but then—I notice someone standing beside the waiter.
Lysander.
I take the food from the waiter.
"Silas, how could you leave me alone there? You know I’ve been searching for you for the last hour!"
The waiter leaves, and Nekol comes from behind, taking the food from my hands and bringing it inside.
I grab the door with one hand, coldly gazing at Lysander.
"Why were you searching for me? Go talk to your new friends."
I’m about to close the door, but he grabs it and forces his way in.
"What are you talking about? I didn’t make any friends!"
I scoff. "Really? You didn’t make any friends? Then I must have seen wrong. But you can’t just barge in like this. Leave. Now."
