Chapter 92: At The Risk of Incayon’s Wrath?

[RANIA]

"It’s quite the turn of events, right?" Rania asked and it took everything in Dalrae not to spank the shit out of Rania. This woman was unbelievable in so many ways.

She knew she could fight them but instead she sat there like a toy waiting to be thrown after the crown prince was done with her and that just made Dalrae want to strike at the prince again. Oh, how they were tempting her fury at the moment.

"You brought yourself here, even after I told you not to. I told you to fucking wait for me, and you were stubborn and now you let that stupid kid with abandoned issues, choke the fuck out of you just because he thinks he’s entitled to the truth?

"Well, he fucking knows the truth. The stupid Calindra alpha also knows it but it’s the one truth they refuse to tell everyone no? Maybe I should tell everyone why the two of them are so adamant about this, right?

"And then we all get screwed over, yeah?" Dalrae said furiously as she looked at everyone.

She had already confirmed that her Kim Rania was hurt and that didn’t sit well with her. So she figured if everyone was going to go against Rania while sitting high up in their seats, then she could as well ruin their day too, right?

"You all wanna know the truth, yeah? How about I hit you with one of the truths that none of you will ever get away from, right?" Dalrae said angrily as she looked at the king and the queen, like she knew what they didn’t know.

It was then that Rania knew that Dalrae was about to tell the truth about the queen and the daughter she didn’t know about. Sure, it would get Rania into more trouble, but then the lunar trial was already a sacrifice itself. So she technically had nothing to lose anyway.

"I’ll tell you what she doesn’t want to—" Dalrae began but Rania got up, and looked at both the prince and Park Jihoon and they knew she knew. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

They knew that Dalrae was going to make the queen of Obren look like she spent her whole life cheating on the king, and that would raise questions about Jungwoo’s legitimacy, and then so many things would happen. But did Dalrae really care about that? Absolutely not.

If she was going to lose Rania, then she was going to make sure everyone here would lose everything that mattered to them. She was so done with the blame games and frankly, maybe they needed to face the truth of it all.

Nothing was ever the same in their lives since Rania murdered Yanna.

"Oookay, Dalrae. I’m okay, see? I am really okay. No wait, I can feel my throat hurting and I might fall unconscious soon. How about we fix me before you ruin everyone’s life?" Rania asked and Dalrae looked at her disbelievingly. Even at this point, she was still saving them. Rania was insane.

"Goodness, I can’t believe you are still defending and saving them when they want to banish you from the damn kingdom.

"You can’t be serious Rani. If you’re going down, why are you stopping me from taking them down too?" Dalrae asked and Rania just smiled at Dalrae, as she held her hands, stopping the Incayon beta from doing anything that would ruin the crown for so many years.

"Dalrae, I can’t breathe. I feel... I... Dal—" Rania said before she fell limp on her seat. However before her head could hit the chair, Dalrae put her hand, making Rania’s unconscious self lean on her.

Dalrae looked at the crown rulers and the alphas before she turned to the royal council. She looked at them with eyes that reminded her that Rania was saving their asses and they were still unthankful as hell.

"Rani? Rani, come on!" Dalrae said as she tied her long dark hair in a bun before she carried her best friend and headed out of the throne room. She didn’t care that there were warriors who had surrounded her and who were more than willing to shoot her and slice her up.

She just didn’t give two shits at the moment. So she took one look at the girl in her arms and that was all she needed to rush out of the room. However, when she got to the door, the crown prince spoke.

"She’s not leaving! Stop her!" Prince Jungwoo said and Dalrae just rolled her eyes at Jungwoo. He really was calling for it now, huh?

She had been patient with them for a while ever since they started hounding Rana, but stopping her from getting Rania to safety and reviving her, was something that even Dalrae considered inhumane.

"You just don’t get it, do you?" Dalrae said to Jungwoo before she turned to the royal council, "this is on you, y’know. If anything happens to Rania, like this, we all know that there will be a greater revolution in Obren.

"Especially if they know that your stupid ass prince was choking her instead of judging her by the rules of Obren. Questions will be raised as to why the prince was choking the alpha when she had done nothing to him. Have fun answering your people."

"And that’s where you’re wrong. The kingdom won’t know if both you and Rania are arrested and placed in the dungeons," Park Jihoon said and this time, Dalrae let out a hearty laugh.

Of course, Rania was getting heavier, but she knew that there was something she needed to do for Rania and that was to mind these people of the risks of screwing with Incayon’s finest.

"Oh, but you’re right, Alpha Jihoon. However, you’re missing one crucial point. My people make the strongest pack in the whole kingdom. And that may not mean much, if it meant defending Rania, because they despise her and want her gone. But I dare you to lay a finger on me.

"They may not lift a finger to save Rania, but you all know that they will burn down the whole of Obren, including your packs, if they hear that you tried your shit with me. There’s seven pack leaders here, no?

"Should be interesting having all the Incayon wolves avenge me while I watch from the dungeons. Anyway, if we’re done here, I would like to take my sister to bed and nurse her back to health. Rest assured I’ll bring her back for the trial.

"But if you try what you did here today, I will kill you myself, Jungwoo. Consequences be damned," Dalrae said as she looked at the Calindra alpha, before turning to the warriors with a bored face that reminded them of their three dead warriors one of who Dalrae was standing on currently.

This woman was dangerous to the realm and there was nothing they could do about it, because if they hurt her, then Rania would ruin them all, not to mention the whole of Incayon, the strongest pack in Obren, would go to war for her.

She was a queen in her own way and she didn’t even have to claim a throne to make everyone see it.

"Let her be."
