Mated to A Rival Alpha-Chapter 275: The Bastard On A Mission
[RANIA]
Kaia disappeared when he made a promise to his brother. It was one that they were sure he could keep, but that didn’t make their worries any less. They couldn’t believe that Han Seong had permitted the psycho to be out there alone and without any supervision.
His brother was already a devil with the little humanity he had and now that he didn’t have any, Kaia Seto was about to make a mess of everything and everyone he met. That much was certain. Hopefully, he wouldn’t make the lives of their targets any harder right?
"You realize you sent him out there with no remorse, no nothing? How sure are you that he will even come back? And what was that with the whispers like you and Rani were taking something else?" Chang Wook asked curiously.
He trusted them, so much, but that doesn’t mean he was about to follow them to the deepest pits of hell without knowing what they were after or who they needed to face. But perhaps just this time, he had to trust his sister, right?
Surely it would be that hard, no?
"Don’t worry too much, brother. He will be one. Besides, he said he will be back in twenty minutes. All he is going to do is to complete an essential aspect of the mission. You guys will see when he comes back alright," Rani said comfortingly.
However, there was nothing comforting about the tone she was using. She was almost reminding them that a tornado was coming, but they needed to keep calm because there was a chance that the person behind the damn thing was one of their own.
But without his humanity would Kaia Seto even remember anyone other than his brother?
"Fine, if you say so," Chang Wooks said and Paloma just patted his back reassuringly. They were one team. They were more than a team. They were family and Kaia Seto had grown to understand that too.
Besides, they had their little promise to hold him to, right? Surely he wouldn’t change after a little while, no? Well, that was negotiable but they just had to count on him making the missions successful.

[THE OBREN PALACE]
The palace was dead.
Everyone and everything that had once been was reduced to nothingness in so many ways. There were reminders of how the hybrids burnt the palace down. They had reduced the beautiful home into a shell of what it once was.
The palace looked terrible.
It was ugly, so much so that it looked pitiful as fuck.
In the middle of all that, was a royal family that had been in the sun for three months. They had never been fed, and never got any food. In those dungeons, the family had tried to survive, but there was nothing to hold on to.
The werewolf queen was still pressed and bothered by the words of the woman who knew that better than anyone. She was still curious about what would happen and what Hhyejin had meant but then she had been unable to make sense of anything.
She had wanted to ask Yanna about what Oshita meant, but then she had been with the girl in the du gowns and the girl didn’t know anything. The temptation to ask Jihoon about it was also intense, but her husband was with them there.
It was impossible to tell what would happen if she asked the questions. Eunbi never wanted to break her husband’s heart, but fate was coming to be the destroyer of all that.
Maybe the queen needed to get up and face her reality too, because otherwise, she would be in deep shit. There wouldn’t be a way out for her, no matter what she tried and that would ruin her life and that of her son.
"Are you okay, son?" the queen asked her little boy. She knows that Jugnwoo had been imprisoned in Drarun for sixteen years and now her son was once again imprisoned in their own home, the one place that was supposed to be safe.
The queen felt like she had failed as a mother and wanted to make things right, but there was no way out of there for her. The people’s palace had the worst of the worst dungeons and they were stashed in the dungeon that was fit for royals like them.
These dungeons were created to hold the worst of the royal wolves and it seemed like they were in that category at the moment. The death of Oshita had remained the most unforgivable thing that the palace had done.
"Helloooo, someone called for a ride?" Kaia Seto’s chilly cold voice was heard in the dungeon hallways and he was followed by an excited bunch of hybrids. The hybrids had been used to their master being emotionless and without humanity.
So when they saw how their leader had whistled without a care, they knew that they had gotten their master of chaos back. They had missed him so much in the past few months and they were going to ask about what could have happened to trigger his state.
They Were not going to question anything this time.
"Eunbi-aaa,’’ Kaia said in a singsong voice as he got closer to them. He could hear their heartbeats throbbing and they were loud as hell to him. He could feel the worry for them all and he loved every bit of it.
Their fear was the best thing that could have happened to him. He had always wanted to see the king and his family scared shitless and now he had the privilege of experiencing that at the same time.
He truly had to have done something worth getting such a beautiful fate, and he was going to explore it. He was going to love every bit of it and no one was going to stop him, especially now that his brother had made him like this.
"Jungwoo-yaa, I heard you killed Oshita. It must have really been nice, using the blade of the bitch that couldn’t even defend her family. Or was it because you found a chance to bite the hand that saved you," Kaia chuckled darkly.
He knew his chuckle could echo in the dungeons and it did, giving the bastard a type of pleasure that he could only get from tormenting people. Goodness, this is going to be so much fun for him anyway.
"I was sent to come fetch you. We are supposed to go on a little trip, Eunbi-yaa. But guess what, we have to take a detour. I promised her that I would go back in twenty minutes and a lot can happen in twenty minutes," Kaia teased as he made it to the dungeon.
He loved what he was seeing and he loved that they were pressed against the wall, in fear of him.
Clearly, they had expected that the bastard Seto brother would be the one who came for them. Well, karma was probably writing over time, but Kaisei Chihiro didn’t give a fuck about that either way.
He was here for fun.
"Oh shit, she told me you’d be here too. But don’t worry, Yanna Petrova Kravoski. I will deal with you last,’’ Kaia said as he looked at the woman, before letting out a loud sinister laugh and his hybrids joined in too.
This was going to be beautiful.
