Mated to A Rival Alpha-Chapter 183: Weren’t They On The Same Side?
[RANIA]
Slowly, Chang Wook was realizing things that he had never imagined were possible. If his sister had the same powers as him, then she was truly in danger, and who the hell had Nathaniel been able to know what kind of powers Rania had?
How did the vampire king know that so well that even the Kims were scared that he would sue it against Rania if ever Rania were to him?
Sure, it was a given because Rania had a war with the vampire king’s daughter and she was definitely expecting the king of Drarun to step up and save his only daughter. But would Chang WOok eb able to save his sister for a king that was laying a trap for her?
It didn’t matter whether Yanna was alive or dead, because Nathaniel was a man of vengeance, and he would definitely stand up for his daughter. Rania had hurt his daughter and that in itself had made Rania a target for the vampire king.
But did Kim Rania care about that?
Rania deserved to be loved not to be swung around by the fists of fate like she meant nothing. If they couldn’t be there for her, then what the fuck was he supposed to do now that she wanted to leave Incayon?
’You’ve got to be fucking kidding me,’ Chang Wook said to himself as he couldn’t take any of the things his parents were talking about anymore. They had been responsible on all scales and yet still had the audacity to find someone else to blame?
What the fuck s so hard about protecting their own child? Granted, Chang Wook had been a rebel but they had forced Kim Rania to be a rebel. She had been that to protect herself.
Carefully, the Kim brother walked out of his sister’s room and spelled the door shut.
He was going to have a talk with the whole of Incayon and if they dared to go against his sister, then he would make them pay a price so high that everyone would steer clear of Kim Rania and her people.
"Where’s the alpha?" Chang Wook asked the nearest wolf and the poor man looked at the Viking like the man was insane. He had been there when everyone claimed Kim Rania as the alpha,t but Chang Wook wanted alpha Dalrae.
He wanted the woman who had been here with these ungrateful people for years; he wanted to make sure that Dalrae wasn’t on the side of the Kims.
He didn’t care that him doubting Dalrae was against everything Rania had told him about the woman. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
However, with everything that he had heard right now, Chang Wook was right to be suspicious of everyone who had lived in Incayon for more than ten years and even so, people who had been in this goddamn pack for the past three months.
"Where the fuck is alpha Dalrae?" Chang Wook asked again, and this time everyone heard him.
He was angry and that got the attention of most of the wolves in the pack house. Hell, Oshita and Rania’s group of friends had also come along to see what was wrong.
They had never seen Chang Wook lose his cool with people and this time, he was losing his cool, which wasn’t good news for anyone, at all. This man was always explosive, though they hadn’t seen Dalrae do anything that could lead to him being that mad at her.
So what the hell was going on with him?
"Hey yho, tone it down, alright. We’re on the same side too. There are injured wolves who wouldn’t want to hear screams and shouts right now. I’m here. What is this about?" Dalrae asked casually, and Chang Wook looked at her, then at the crowd that had formed.
She had clearly not been expecting chaos from Chang Wook of all the people but then here they were. Maybe the man had heard or seen something that he didn’t like right? But that was also not reason enough to be a noisy bitch along the hallways.
Oh, Dalrae was frustrated because her sister was hurting and there was nothing he could do for her until she had gotten some rest. Though right now she was keeping the pack running and hoping that when Rania woke up, they wouldn’t still look fucked up like this.
"What does it take to truly banish someone from a pack or even home? What does it take to get someone as far away from the pack as possible?" Chang Wook asked and Dalrae looked at him like he had gone bonkers.
Surely he wasn’t thinking of sending Rania away again, right? Because if that was the case, then he would have to go through Dalrae too.
He would have to try a lot harder since Dalrae was still the known alpha of Incayon and her warriors would definitely fight Chang Wook this time at Dalrae’s commands.
Hopefully, it wasn’t about Kim Rania because that was the one person Dalrae was willing to sell the whole kingdom for.
She didn’t care what the fuck happened here, as long as her Rani was okay.
"Where is Rania?" Dalrae asked, her voice coming off stronger than usual. She was always bubbly and cheery, but she had nothing to be happy about today.
She had woken up to a battle that should have been avoided had everyone told her what the fuck was going on, but then no one had bothered for a while and now, Rania was in danger still and her brother was standing before her like it was supposed to make her feel better.
"I asked a question," Chang Wook said and Dalrae figured that this wasn’t really about the both of them. Well, she didn’t give two shits about anything, though if Chang Wook didn’t answer her question, then they would both be having a problem.
She wanted to know where her sister was and if there was something wrong with her. She wanted to make sure that her Rania got the best care if she needed any healthcare.
Granted, there was Han Seong and Chang Wook who would heal her Rani, but Dalrae just wanted to be prepared just in case.
"And I’m only going to ask this one more time, so think carefully before you answer me, Viking warrior. Where the fuck is my Rania. What did you do to her and what the fuck is with you asking me about banishments?
"What did you do to her?" Dalrae asked, her voice so firm and so strong that the wolves around her bowed their heads from the power that Dalrae was emitting. It was not that she was the alpha or even the beta.
It was the power of a person so strong and powerful.
Many would definitely assume that she had learned from Rania, but the few that knew her truth, knew that there was more to Dalrae than met the eye. The woman could command an army and they would follow her without question.
"She’s sleeping and I haven’t done anything to her. You know I wouldn’t harm her," Chang Wook said and Dalrae looked at him like he was joking.
"Do I?"
