Chapter 178: Team Work Makes The Dream Work, No?

[RANIA]

"They are willing to fight for you, my sweet Rani," Odelia said as she pulled Rania into a hug, wiping the tears of joy that were on her face, while the whole squad that had come to battle Rania watched in shock.

Clearly, they were getting more shocked with everything that Kim Rania did and all that was associated with her.

There were so many questions lingering in the air as the Incayon wolves watched in awe and a weary state as the rogues showed up, and Han Seong the warlock too.

They wouldn’t believe this if they hadn’t witnessed it themselves. They wouldn’t have believed that this many people had shown up for Rania, the same one they had banished and rejected for reasons they couldn’t even explain themselves.

"You came for me, all of you," Rania said when she pulled back from the hug.

She could see her team of crazies had shown up for her. They had promised her that she was family, a part of their little family, and the first sign that she was in danger, they had shown up for her, disregarding all the possible rules that existed.

It was risky for them all and yet they had made it possible.

The rogues were banished from Obren and they had been led by their very ruthless queen and the manipulative trickster Oshita, to fight for Kim Rania.

Odelia was dangerous in so many ways and yet the beast that was known to be without humanity had shown up, transformed, and even hugged Rania.

The warrior healer who was the fear of every other warlock had stayed beside her.

Han Seong who was the most trusted warlock in the Valley of the Whites and the realm had also left his home and come for her.

Daehyun, who didn’t have a reason to even come to Incayon for anything, had shown up to support his Luna.

Dalrae had suited up to defend her best friend.

And her wolves had finally changed sides and defended her.

Kim Rania was truly not alone today and that proved a lot. It went to show how Rania had managed to find her way into the hearts of so many. She may have been a psycho, but she was a loved psycho.

They cared about her and they wanted her to be happy.

Even without her parents loving her, Kim Rania had family and that was easily the best thing that the goddess had given her.

"Seojoon threatened you. We wouldn’t just sit by and watch sweetheart," Odelia said and the rogues formed an even larger wall around Rania, an action that shocked the Incayon wolves and the team that the king had sent even more.

Who was Kim Rania really? And how powerful was she to have this many deadly friends? It was like she had a team of assassins for friends.

"Anyone who still wants to bring Seojoon, Rani, and Chang Wook’s dead bodies?" Odelia asked so casually like she was talking to the enemies as friends. She knew it was a wild save, but she had to make sure that they knew when to fight and when not to.

"Retreat everyone. We shall regroup and come back!" Jisung said angrily as he watched Odelia. There was no way that he would ever be able to defeat Odelia, but then this time at least he had something to report to his king about the developments in Incayon.

Maybe the king would truly understand that there was more at stake.

Kim Rania was not just a little girl or a lone woman. She was the woman with the strongest possible family. Her people may have disowned her but at least she had people who would stay by her side.

"Are you okay, Rani? Are you hurt anywhere?" Chang Wook asked as Jisung and his warriors retreated.

He wanted to make sure that his little sister was okay even when they were all here. If there was so much as a scratch on her, then he would go after Jisung himself and teach the man a lesson on life and love and everything in between.

He had heard her breathing slow down in the last few minutes and that was a red flag. He needed to know what to do in case his sister was affected by the battle that was going on.

Granted, this wasn’t Rania’s first time in the war, but this was her first time with so many people to fight her battle for her. If she was to listen to them, then she would have sat on the sidelines while they battled her enemies for her.

That was how much they cared about her.

They loved her way too much to see her in battle even though she was stubborn and would always want to fight too.

Then again, she was Kim Rania, the girl with a name, the woman psycho, and the greatest pain in the ass for King Seojoon, and yet the king had always been unable to get his hands on her.

Whether she was alone or with people, Rania was a powerhouse, but even powerhouses got tired too, at times and Chang Wook had noticed that in his sister. She was not okay as she claimed and he knew it.

"Yeah, I’m fine. This armor is heavy though," Rani said and they all just chuckled at her. They had been expecting her to say something other than the armor but at least she was honest about the armor. Funny how she had managed to pout with everyone watching her.

How a woman so deadly could pull off such a cute pout was something for the books, but hey she didn’t have to keep her walls up now that she was safe with her friends anyway.

"Here, I’ll help you with that," Han Seong said before he cast an undoing spell that got every piece of the armor off Rania, leaving her as free as she had been earlier. She looked tiny now that she no longer was covered in metal armor.

"Carry those," Oshita said to three of the rogue warriors who just nodded and carried the armor into Incayon. The other wolves just watched as their alpha let in rogues to their home. But then it wasn’t like the Altunia rogues were going to be stealing from them anyway, right?

They were here for Rania and Rania alone, not any other wolf in Incayon and once their service to her was done for this time, they would leave and get back to Altunia, their richest land in the realm.

"Anyone hungry?" Dalrae asked once the enemies had gone away.

The Incayon warriors who had created a wall around Rania could tell that they did need to worry about their Alpha’s security anymore. So they bowed respectfully before they went to help their injured warriors.

It was easy to tell the Incayon warriors who were injured by the bunch of enemies that had come.

"Join them," Paloma said to her warriors and they followed the Incayon warriors.

Today was all about teamwork and they had all come for Kim Rania.

"I’m hungry," Oshita volunteered and Rani’s little team all just let out laughs.

"You’re always hungry, Oshita," Odelia teased knowingly.

"Food excites my soul. Odelia," Oshita defended.

"Hold on. I smell Calindra. Don’t tell me that they sent someone to feed their Alpha’s obsession with you, Rani," Odelia suddenly said.
