Chapter 75: Addicted to you

His cold finger trailed across her bare shoulders as his aggressive kiss rendered her breathless. He trailed his fingers to her breasts, causing goosebumps to appear on her skin.

Sage moaned against his lips, which only served to trigger Cyrus, who was holding the cloth that covered her breasts.

"You are making insane parrot," Cyrus groaned, blowing cold air into her mouth.

Sage’s mind went blank, her body longing for Cyrus’ touch, and the area between her legs ached and twitched.

"Cyrus..." Sage moaned, grabbing his lip and slowly sucking it.

She immediately started hearing fabric rips and gasped when she realised Cyrus was ripping the rest of the dress.

She wrapped her arms around him, hands on his back, and exhaled as he broke the kiss and stared her down with his darkened silver reptile-like eyes. They were unreadable, and she was out of breath.

"Sexy parrot," he hissed seductively, and she swallowed hard, her face flushed with crimson.

He peered into her emerald eyes that revealed her desire and yearning for him. Smirking, he planted a kiss on her lips and trailed it down to her jaw before she could catch his lips.

Sage exhaled a shaky breath as he trailed kisses from her neck to her chest. Suddenly, he came to a halt, and as he did, a hard knock on the door was heard, followed by, "Your majesty! Breakfast is ready! Snowflake, Venus, and Ares have just arrived at the mansion!" It was Arthur.

Cyrus huffed angrily and looked at Sage, who felt as if she would melt beneath him.

"Get dressed; I will meet you in the dining room." He told her calmly, then carried the blanket beside them and wrapped it around her body.

Sage mentally prayed for Arthur’s safety as Cyrus got off her without removing the displeasure boldly written on his face.

The sexual tension between them was so intense that even Cyrus wearing his shirt was seductive to her. His muscles flexed as the shirt fell onto his body, and she swallowed hard.

"Oh my!" She exclaimed, almost choking, and covered her face with the blanket.

Cyrus’ lips twitched in response to his parrot’s reaction. He took a white coat from the closet, put it on, and walked over to Sage’s bed, pulling the blanket away from her face.

She looked at him, her face flushed and her eyes twinkling with longing.

"Focus." He whispered and smiled, revealing his dimples.

Sage could see that his silver eyes were completely unreadable at the moment, but she could also tell that he wasn’t speaking to her at all, but rather to himself. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

"You are not permitted to repeat that." Cyrus continued by pushing the strands on her face backwards.

"W..what?" Sage was perplexed and stuttered.

He lost all his senses the moment she blew hot air into his mouth, and his goal was to cover her mind and soul with him.

"The hot breath intoxicated me, and being intoxicated by you means I will become addicted to you." He revealed himself calmly and leaned in close to her. "I am not going to let you rest, and I am not going to hold back if you do that again," he hissed seductively.

Sage only realised she was holding her breath when he moved away and walked away to the balcony.

Was he going to jump?

Sage sighed, knowing that he was probably gone to search the mountain for any Statkus mage. She was relieved he was gone for a while, even if he had diverted her attention for a while, leaving her unable to process the memory he had shown her.

Except for when she became ill, her mother looked exactly as she remembered. She became pale and lost a lot of weight. Lia and Julius prevented her from visiting her mother, claiming that her illness was contagious.

Sage had believed Lia was human and Julius’ sister, but everything had been a lie. Lia was her mother’s sister and a mage. Julius, whom she mistook for her father, was an imposter. She could not remember how he entered her life, but she assumed he was her father because he showed her the love that only a father would give to his daughter, but the main reason was that her mother told her he was her father.

But why?

She wanted to know more, everything that had happened behind her back. She assured herself that she would learn spells and skills but would also have to find Katherine and maybe Darren.

Why did the Statkus mages look like living corpses? They were so terrifying. Why did they want her fire core?

The Statkus mages wiped out all of the elder mages, and to end it all, Sage’s mother, Genevieve, closed the portal, but Sage’s birth strangely opened it.

Why did Julius and Lia keep this from everyone in Credia, and why did the mages’ human parents keep it from their children?

Lia was clearly envious of her mother, and Cyrus seemed to know everything; he even knew her mother’s background perfectly.

"You are Genevieve Adrelean, the second child of Lucian and Serah Donovan, wind mage and Credia’s strongest warrior. You always gain favour wherever you go, and you keep your kingdom safe from the Statkus mages in particular. You fell in love, a forbidden love that resulted in your exile, but you still guarded your kingdom from afar..."

Lucian and Serah Donovan were her grandparents, her mother was wind mage and Credia’s strongest warrior..

Sage gasped and sat herself down, covering her chest with the blanket.

"Forbidden love that resulted to her exile? What was she doing in Anitca?" Sage’s eyes widened in shock, her body started trembling. "Could it be that my mother fell in love with a dragon? My father is a dragon?! And I have a sibling?!"

Sage realized that Cyrus hadn’t just shown her the Statkus mages or how he met her in the past but a huge information about her true background.

"Sage Adrelean.."
