Abi played a smile on her face.

"You stayed here, I thought you would be heading to the house," she said, her tone a little bit teasing him.

"Seriously? Is that what you thought?" She questioned in disbelief.

"I was thinking that you probably stayed for something else," she added.

"And, what do you think might be the reason for me staying?"

She shrugged.

"I don’t know, probably the reason for you staying here was because you had this feeling, this deep feeling that made you so restless."

Vixen frowned.

"I don’t think there was one that made me stay."

"Oh—" she said as she pouted her lips.

"We’re you thinking of something else?" Vixen questioned his gaze focused on her probably like he was using his eyes to search her soul.

"What? Why would I be thinking of that?" She said trying to deny the matter but as she looked at Vixen’s view it was like he was not going to believe the word that she was going to say.

"Don’t do your face like that—" she said pointing at us boring gaze.

"I just stated those words because you stayed up night just because of me and I was worried that you might have stayed because —"

"Actually, you’re right, the reason for staying here had more reason to it. I just couldn’t go away with the fact that—"

Just then, the door of the room opened and just as they turned their heads to check the door of the room, it was a nurse who came in, peeking her head through the door.

" I’m really sorry for intervening in your conversation. I know that I should have knocked but— Ma’am, you have to take your treatment and apparently, I was three minutes late in giving you so I came as fast as I could didn’t remember to knock on the door, " the woman stated with apology on her face hoping that they were going to be convinced by her reason and she wouldn’t have to lose her job.

" Oh, " Abi stated and then she turned her head to the side to see the wall clock that was placed at the left side of her bed.

" I didn’t realize that the time had passed—" she stated in realization and then the nurse was given permission to get Abi treated.

Just as he stood up from his stool giving the nurse the permission to get Abi treated, his phone vibrated and just as he took it out to see who was he caller, he raised his head to meet Abi’s view.

Just at his gaze, Abi understood what he was trying to say and then she nodded giving Vixen the permission to excuse himself.

"Son—" he said in a gentle tone expecting a reply from him.

"Daddy, where’s you and Mummy?" He questioned and just from his tone Vixen knew that Arthur was worried about the fact that both him and Abi weren’t home.

He heaved a deep breath as he turned his gaze to the door watching Abi get treated.

"Arthur, we’re at the hospital."

"Hospital? Daddy, what happened?" He questioned, overwhelmed.

" Actually, Arthur, last night when you were asleep your mother got involved in an accident, but don’t worry, she’s getting treated at the moment. "

" Are you sure, Daddy? "

Vixen smiled.

" The location is far but then you can take me after all, you just have to get me the Macaroni with salad, stirred soup and toppings if cheese, I saw it in a street which is just let’s say probably five blocks away from here, so, are you going to do that for me? "
