Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!-Chapter 883: Now I wonder how they will react to our actions?
After the Awakened One left, the mayor realized that their city was doomed. In a world where evolved bronze, silver, and golden-ranked beasts roam around, the chances of salvation without the help of such people are practically zero.
By this time, the mayor had already given up, as had everyone in the room. They had to admit the cruelty and hopelessness of the situation.
At this point, they had only one option left: to follow the Federation's call and leave the city, taking the elite and key assets with them.
But in the midst of the silence, Irene suddenly appeared. Her appearance surprised everyone, including the mayor, but also inspired hope. Seeing the Guild's uniform and Irene's unusual eyes, the mayor realized that she was an Awakened One.
The mayor was not a stupid man and realized that the Awakened Ones, knowing about the plight of the city, would not come here for no reason.
Perhaps they came here to help or to see how the city was dying with their own eyes.
The mayor was hoping for the first option.
Irene entered and looked around at everyone. Although her eyes were still spinning in a hypnotic spiral, she was subtly controlling her power and was currently emitting subtle fluctuations that set everyone who looked at her in a positive mood.
"Mayor," Irene said, looking into the eyes of the owner of the office. "From now on, I demand that you follow our instructions and follow our orders unconditionally."
The mayor frowned slightly, but Irene's strength made him believe her. He nodded, as did everyone else in the room.
"First, announce an emergency evacuation to all residents of the city."
"Ask everyone to take only the most necessary things and gather them in the largest square in the city."
"Our Guild will take care of everything related to the evacuation process, as well as protecting the city from possible attacks by waves of Beasts."
"Let the military and law enforcement officers start searching all the houses, starting from the outskirts of the city. They should call for the evacuation of everyone who has not received information, as well as help those who find it difficult to move."
At first, the mayor didn't like the way they started giving him instructions, but when he heard about the evacuation, he put aside all his discontent and doubts. He felt hopeful and was ready to carry out any order of these Awakened Ones.
"All right, everything will be done," the mayor said with excitement and, glancing at the heads of city services, began to give orders.
As if they had found new hope, like the mayor himself, they immediately began to carry out the instructions.
All of them were locals, and all their families, friends and acquaintances lived in this city. Over the past few disasters, the city has become a little more cohesive, and many have helped each other. None of them wanted to leave the city and its inhabitants to their fate and only save themselves.
"Great job," — Arabel said, following Irene into the room.
Irene nodded, closing her eyes, and when she opened them, they were back to normal.
"I thought that the mayor and the others would resist, but it seems that I was wrong," she said, glad that she did not have to take more drastic measures.
"Send your avatar to Dan, they should reach the nearest town near the eastern anomaly soon," — Arabel reminded.
"No, Neri will stay here with you and help you if necessary," Irene objected, shaking her head. "I will personally go to help my brother."
"Okay," — Arabel agreed without hesitation.
"So Irene named her doppelganger Neri, huh?" Arabel smiled to herself, finding it funny.
While the mayor and other city leaders carried out Irene's instructions and prepared the evacuation of avatar, Arabel and Irene found a secluded place.
"Whitey," Arabel called, and a rift opened next to her, from which a snow—white fox jumped out.
Like Snow, she was very excited and playful, circling around the two beauties and demanding attention.
Knowing how boring and lonely Whitey was to spend time in the void, Arabel and Irene happily scratched and stroked her.
Soon, satisfied, Whitey realized what was wanted of her, and with a flick of her tail, she opened first one rift, and then the second.
Soon, both faults connected to two other faults on the other side, creating a bridge between two different locations.
Felicia appeared from the first portal, wearing a slightly modified Guild uniform. Her face was hidden by a hood, giving her a mysterious appearance, and she wore a cloth mask on her face, accentuating her sharp vertical eyes that shone brightly. She was followed by the former members of the Red Fox Guild, who have now become part of the Kingdom Guild.
A charming slender beauty with short blonde hair and round glasses appeared from the second portal. Behind her, one by one, other beauties came out, who greeted Arabel with a smile.
These charming girls were old acquaintances of Arabel — Sarah, Lara, Uvasha and Nimuka. Surprisingly, their exact copies appeared from the portal after them.
"Talking Doppelgangers," — Arabel whispered with a smile, looking at these Doppelgangers with whom all these girls were able to sign contracts.
"You know what you need to do, so let's get started, we don't have much time," Arabel said after the greeting.
Felicia nodded silently, and she and her doppelganger, who looked like an exact replica, created a rift in space and disappeared inside it.
The rest of the participants split into several groups and dispersed to different parts of the city.
"Whitey," — Arabel called again, and she happily wagged her tail and created a new rift, opening another portal.
"Be careful and don't lose sight of the Awakened Ones from the Association," — Irene addressed Arabel's avatar. After receiving a nod from her sister-in-law, Irene stepped into the portal and was transported from the north of the Federation to the east, to her brother.
"Don't worry, sister-in-law, if something goes wrong, Felicia will handle it," Arabel whispered as she watched the portal close. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Arabel, left alone with the fox, shook her head after receiving the information from her true body.
"As expected, the Federation has restricted access to the network for ordinary users," she whispered.
"Now I wonder how they will react to our actions?" Arabel asked, and Whitey, hearing this, tilted her head uncomprehendingly.
Arabel smiled at her and stroked the fox.
"I don't think they'll like that we were able to save the people they abandoned," she thought, and after playing with Whitey for a while, she went to the gathering place of all the residents of the city.
