In the meanwhile, he used his strength rushing towards the garage after coming out of the elevator, the car got prepared for him but then he was uneasy about the fact that his driver was going to drive the car.

So he asked his driver to stay at home while he takes Abi to the hospital.

For Arthur’s case, he thought that there was no need to worry since his Nanny was around to take care of him and whatever happens, he was going to be home the next morning.

Vixen stepped on the accelerator of the vehicle driving as fast as he could.

Frustrated by the voice of the map’s AI which was directing him towards the nearest hospital, he decided to turn it off and then he glanced at Abi to see her condition.

Just like before, she was the same, unconscious and he wasn’t sure of the fact but for a while it felt as though he began to hear Abi’s heavy breathing.

This made him more concern than before, it was sure that he was going to break the rules of the road as he drove as fast as he could in his highest speed.

He was able to dulge all the cars that were in front of him.

He managed to get over the road blockage, already at the park of the hospital, the nurses who were there were alerted of his arrival and just as they spotted Vixen come out of the car with a woman in his arms, they rushed towards him with a stretcher.

He gently placed her on the surface of the stretcher like she was piece of glass not to be broken letting her hair flutter on the surface, the doctor immediately came with his stethoscope and then began to diagnose her of all necessary symptoms while she was taken to the emergency room, Vixen was severely worried, following them along, he took a stop in front of the emergency room.

So stressed out he was concerned about what had been the matter, for minutes he walked forth and backwards as his gaze subconsciously diverted to the door just waiting for the right time for the doctor to open it.

He waited from minutes to hours worried by the fact that something must be really going on, when he walked closer to the door to peek at what they were doing, Abi had oxygen mask placed on her and the looks of the doctor and nurses around seemed busy, she was intravenously injected passing some essential biochemicals into her system.

His heart unconsciously began to race, his mind felt uneasy and this moment of guilty within himself, for some reasons he felt like he was the cause of what had happened.

Abi might have ended up where she was because of him, just when he was in his thoughts thinking about what had happened, he got a call.

He took his phone from his pocket and just at the sight of the caller, he discovered that he didn’t just have the first call from his security manager.

He had requested ti know what had happened from the footage of the CCTV, just at the sight of it, he answered the call.

"Hello," he said in a rather rough tone, a bit sulken.

"Sir, we’ve checked the footage and as from what we’re seeing here, Miss Abi got spiked with venom."

"What are you saying?" He frowned.

"Sir, the case is that Miss Abi got bitten by a venomous snake, a snake had crawled into your kitchen and out of shock, she gasped out but then the snake bit her and then immediately left."

Vixen was speechless as he turned his gaze to the door watching Abi get treated.

He was stunned.

"Sir, just as we saw it, I had order a security force to come to the house, you can be well ensured that Young Master Arthur would be okay, we’re ensuring that we find the snake at any course before tomorrow morning."

"Okay," he simply stated and then ended the call.

Just as he did so, the door of the room opened and out of the room was a doctor dressed in his white coat.

"Sir, how is she?" Vixen questioned as her walked towards the doctor wit a sharp look on his face.

"Mr. Vixen, what had happened was that she got bitten by a venomous snake—"

"I know about that. How is she?*

" Actually, Sir, we’re trying our best as of the moment, we’re trying everything we can to make sure that she’s okay. "

" But this is just about two hours since I’ve arrived?! "

" Sir, we know how you feel and we know that you’re concerned but then the venom is speedy, we’re trying our best to make sure that this venom does not reach her heart, is luck that you got to see her just at hand and brought her immediately that you found out or else if you were a minute late than before then only God knows if she’s really going to spend more time just like she’s having now."

" Abi, so what about, Abi? Are you able to revive her back! "

" Sir, all I need for you is to calm down, we’re doing our best, and we’ll make sure that she’s okay. "

" I need you to get her back to her health, that’s your job after all, make sure that nothing happens to her, besides what are you doing outside, from the looks of it, I don’t trust any of those nurses in the room, go in there and make sure that she’s okay, check on her! " he yelled.

Alerted by the fact that if Vixen gets angry then it could cause hm on his bad list, he was the best doctor in the hospital but Biden has the power to derive him of his power if anything happened to her.

Somehow he could feel himself sweat an invisible wet as he immediately entered the room and then along with the nurses, they tried their best to revive Abi back.

Doing as much as they could do Vixen feel him himself filled with temper inwardly, he felt a bit saddened and angry at the same time.

He just didn’t want to lose Abi.

He couldn’t afford to make it a thought that Abi was going to leave him, he blamed himself so much, he blamed himself for her condition.

Reminding him of the same day just as Enim got involve in an accident because of an argument, so was the same repeated just like before.

History repeated itself and just like before he was the cause of what had happened.

He finally managed to take a seat after discovering that the doctors will probably take longer than before.

Just as he sat and then placed his palms on his face to cover his head, heaving a deep breath, he brought his face from his hands, a frustrated look on his face.

Soon enough the door of the room opened and then he turned to see it was the same doctor.

"Sir, we were able to remove the venom from her system, she’s out of danger, her state is better now," just as Vixen heard the words of the doctor, whether or not he knew his emotions, he had a wide smile and then excitedly stood up from the seat.

"Doctor, could I meet her?"

"Yes, Sir but—" he was unable to complete his word as Vixen hurriedly rushed into the room, getting into the room he saw the nurses attend to her while she slept peacefully on the bed, his gaze steady on her unable to articulate his words, his mind was tough and had so many things to say but then he couldn’t vocal his words.

He stayed at his position remembered by the fact that he was the cause of what had happened, nothing like this would have happened if he just listened to her.

And those words that he said about her, he began to regret them the moment he said then.

She laid there her hair fluttered on the pillow of the bed.

"Sir, we’ll soon be heading her to her ward," one of the nurses informed him breaking him from his trance and then he nodded.

"Okay," he said in a hoarse and uneasy tone.

His confidence to meet her a while ago completely shattered and then he turned to leave but then when his hand touched the knob of the door.

" Vixen, " he heard a fragile feminine voice call out to him.
