They were currently in an open head restaurant, the type used for the faceless mercenary company's test. Leon, who was cloaked with a black robe as the practice of all faceless mercenary company members. had a book in front of him that read.

This was the Mission given to Leon by Half-moon, it contained the Mission details and several other tips like the clients' name, personality and a general overview of what was needed. But Leon had the system run its one analysis so he could get a better view on what this was.

The system made quick work of the document in front of him and gave him appropriate measures and strategies to take any problems they might face head on.

"Hmmm, it's good, huh?" Leon looked across the table at Ember, who was chopping down grilled meat and rice balls.

"Uh huh" she nodded subconsciously for a brief moment, then suddenly she remembered that Leon was the one who spoke.

"Don't talk down to me, you're not a grown up" Ember pointed her chicken lap at Leon and scolded him, causing Leon to be dumbfounded for a second.

She was right, Leon right now was merely a 16-year-old....so technically they were the same age. Of course, the difference in their maturity was like comparing a puddle of water to an ocean.

Leon's soul was thousands of years old.

"Enjoy your meal, kid" Leon left a snide remark while staring down Ember. This, of course, was meant to piss her off and so it did, she immediately blew her top.

Meanwhile, on her forehead, Leon quietly stared at a window...

In a dark castle building, inside a throne room setting.

A man in long black robes could be seen kneeling in the middle of the room. He was bloody all over, but this blood didn't seem to be from the cuts of a blade. It looked like he was punched so hard that he had started to bleed from his pores.

It was an alarming scene.

"Fucking Retard!!, I want to flay you and hang you by your tongue.....if not that we are family, you be deader than Dead right now.!!!" At the helm of the room, an aged man with eyes akin to an exploding supernova sat with rage in his facial expression.

In one mission, he had lost two of his bastard children. Even though he never really cared for their talents and hid their identities until now, they were still his kids.

He couldn't stand the thought of them dying, especially on the watch of his little brother. He was infuriated.

Furthermore, he was a marquee of this great kingdom and one of its protectors.....how could this happen to him???

"And how do you know that, Alaric? How the hell do you know that?!!!" The man on the throne bellowed at Alaric. Of course, he knew that his bastard son Anan was alive. He had the tools to find out, but then he wouldn't have an excuse to punish Alaric if he showed this.

After all, the only person he put under Alaric's protection was Anan, and if he wasn't dead, he would have to give him a chance to redeem himself.

"I....." Alaric gashed his teeth….his brother knew that Anan was still alive, but still wanted to punish him.

"Father, if there's a chance that Anan is alive, I think we should do something to make sure…." right beside the throne, a young man with similar eyes to the marquee spoke.

"Hm? Like what?" The marquee asked. This was his beloved son Lucian. He was actually his only legal son by law and his true heir. Unless he was killed by his other brothers, he would inherit the family fortune.

"This was done by the child of the disgraced knight, right? There's only one way to get her, we need to capture or at least corner him. Then she will definitely show up with her accomplices, then we will get them" Lucian explained.

If they could corner Arian's dad, then it would be smooth sailing from there, with her new-found power, she would certainly make the mistake of marching to his rescue, there, and then they would capture her and get info about Anan.

"Hmmmm, this is not a bad idea!!! Yes, let's do it like that!!!" The marquee stood up in excitement. On his face was a wicked and sadistic smile.

This stunned the entire crowd.

Capture the disgraced knight? Was that even possible? Wasn't the disgraced knight a level 4 mage? Could the marquee himself capture the knight if he wanted to? How was he expecting Alaric to succeed?

Soon enough, this decree spread like wildfire. The marquee Cane had decreed for a citywide manhunt for a level 4 mage. This was absurd even to the layman.

And to those who knew the gap between those levels, they could only stare and laugh, while still paying close attention to the development.
